Stephanie had been dating Elijah for about a year, She left Mystic Falls with Nik while Elijah was daggered. You see they were cursed to be with each other through out history. When Stephanie would die, she would reincarnate and fall in love with him all over again. But now she was a vampire hybrid, so they would never be apart. They never had to lose each other again.

Stephanie got off the couch, put her book down and opened the door to reveal her friends from Mystic Falls Caroline, Bonnie and Elena.

"What are you guys doing here?" asked Stephanie who hugged them.

"Its your birthday, so we are going out tonight" replied Caroline

"Hell yeah, I need a good night out"

"Then go and change"

Stephanie ran upstairs and changed.

Stephanie walked down the stairs.

"Damm girl" exclaimed Caroline

"Yeah, what she said" said Bonnie

The four of them left the house and started what would be a night to remember, not that any of them would, getting so drunk that they forget the night.

Rousseau's 

Stephanie was dancing on the bar with Caroline when Nik walked in.

"Nik! Come have a drink with us!"

"Not tonight Love"

"Oh come on, Its my birthday, Pleaseeeeee" Pleaded Steph like a child.

"1 drink, that's all I give you"

"Wahoooo!" exclaimed Steph who was already drunk as all hell.

Hours later Nik was just as drunk as the girls and him and Caroline were making out in a booth in the corner.

"Stephanie?" asked familiar voice

"BEX! Join us"

"Come on sweetie, time to go home" said Rebekah as she tried to manoeuvre Steph out of the bar.

"No I want to stay here and celebrate my birthday which you forgot, you all did and besides Nik is just as drunk as me, so why doesn't he have to leave too?" said Steph as she pointed at Rebekah.

"Klaus is here?" asked Rebekah as she looked back into the crowd looking for Klaus.

"In the corner, he's snogging Caroline"

"REBEKAHHH!" Said Elena with blood running from her mouth, obviously drunk off her ass.

"Hello Elena"

"You look like you could use a drink, here" said Elena grabbing a girl and giving her to Rebekah.

"Are you all Blood drunk?" asked Rebekah

"Everyone except the humans, duh" answered Steph "They are regular drunk"

Marcel walked in with Elijah.

"Heard there was quite a party in here" said Marcel

"MARCEL! Welcome to my party!" said Steph slurring her words as she dropped the body of a handsome guy.

"Stephanie?" questioned Elijah

"Hey baby, Have a drink with me?"

"They are blood drunk" said Rebekah as she maneuvered her way through the crowd of drunk vampires and humans.

"Stephanie..." said Elijah looking at the state of the bar.

"You Mr Noble one, forgot my birthday, which is why you were not invited" said Steph slightly annoyed.

"BROTHER!" said Klaus as he drunkenly hugged Elijah.

"Niklaus, what are you doing here?" asked Elijah

"I am having fun Brother, you should try it some time" " And besides we were quite rude to Steph, forgetting her birthday"

Elijah rounded everyone up and took them home with the help of Marcel and Rebekah.

Bonnie, Elena and Caroline were placed on the sofa's while Rebekah dragged Klaus up to his room and Elijah lifted Steph bridal style, upstairs to their room.

"Stephanie?"

"Lijah"

"My apologies, I did not mean to forget your birthday" said Elijah as he helped Steph change her clothes.

"I know you didn't"

Elijah helped Steph in bed and was about to leave when Steph spoke up.

"Elijah?"

"Yes"

"Will you stay, just until I fall asleep?"

"Of course, I'll be back in a moment"

"Okay" and with that Elijah left the room and went to get a glass of water for his girlfriend. On his way to the kitchen he noticed Rebekah and Marcel talking in the sitting room. Bonnie, Elena and Caroline had already fallen asleep.

He made his way back up the stairs and entered their room and saw that Stephanie had fallen asleep.

The next morning

Stephanie woke up with one major headache. She stumbled out of bed and down the stairs to see Elena and Caroline looking worse than she felt.

"Mornin'" said Steph quietly, she walked over to Elijah and leaned her head on his chest. He wrapped his arms around her.

"Rough night?" asked Rebekah as she entered the kitchen.

Steph flashed her golden eyes and veins at her.

"Forget I asked"

"I feel sick" said Steph, her voice muffled by Elijah's chest.

"Well you will feel that way for a while, getting blood drunk was probably not the best idea ladies" replied Elijah.

"It wasn't the initial plan, It just kinda happened" replied Caroline drinking her coffee.

Nik walked into the kitchen, silent.

"You alright Klaus?" asked Elena

No reply.

Elijah shook his head as to say 'leave him'. Klaus was not very nice when he was hungover, so it was best to leave him alone.

He left the kitchen and Steph threw up blood into the sink. Elijah held her hair back, she was throwing up the blood she drank the other night.

"I am never getting that drunk again" said Steph

"I'll second that" replied Elena

"Me too" replied Caroline

 A few hours later the three girls returned to Mystic Falls. Steph was lying on the sofa with her head in Elijah's lap while he was reading a book.

"Thank you for taking me home last night"

"Of course"

"How did you even know that I was there?"

"I was with Marcel when he heard about the party from one of his people"

"And you thought you'd tag along?"

"Yes especially since he said there was a hybrid at said party"

"Right, so it was either me or Nik"

"Precisely and it turns out it was both of you" 

"Thank you"

"No problem"

"I love you 'Lijah"

"I love you also"
