Natalie was sitting on her back porch staring into the night when she heard a rustling coming from the edge of the woods. She looked up and saw a large white wolf, it stared at her and she didn't dare move, she thought the wolf was her ex-boyfriend Tyler. Natalie froze as the wolf began to walk towards her, as it did she noticed that this wolf was not Tyler it was way to big to be Tyler. The wolf sat down on the ground a mere two meters from her and it just looked at her. Natalie looked at it and noticed a familiar look in its eyes.

"Klaus?"

The wolf walked up to Natalie and licked her face.

"It is you, what are you doing here?"

Klaus titled his head to the side.

"Right, sorry"

"NATALIE!" shouted Karen, Natalie's mom 

"Shit, Hide"

Klaus ran into the trees and watched Natalie.

"Hey mom"

"I've got a business trip so I won't be around for about a week okay?"

"Sure, have fun"

"Love you hunny"

Karen went back into the house and Natalie heard her get into her car and drive off. She turned around and saw that Klaus had returned and she jumped.

"Don't do that, you scared me"

Natalie sat down on the bottom step and Klaus leaned his head in Natalie's lap. She was a little surprised but she placed her hand on his head and began to run her hand over his fur.

Suddenly Klaus shot his head up and looked at the tree line, he began to growl and stand in front of Natalie like he was trying to protect her.

"Klaus what is it? What's wrong?"

Natalie knew what he was growling at when another familiar wolf came through the trees. 

"Tyler"

Klaus began to walk towards Tyler and Tyler began to walk towards Natalie not caring that Klaus was even there. Tyler lunged at Natalie but Klaus intercepted him and pushed him away from her. Tyler was getting more riled up by the second, Klaus's only priority was protecting Natalie, he wasn't going to let Tyler hurt her.

Tyler got back up and saw that Klaus was standing in front of Natalie who was standing there frozen in fear. Tyler lunged at Klaus again but this time he was thrown back and into a tree. Natalie had sped in front of Klaus and pushed Tyler away.

"Leave Tyler...NOW!" 

Tyler ran back into the trees and disappeared, Natalie looked back at Klaus who had collapsed on the ground. Natalie ran over to him and placed her hand on the side of his face.

"Klaus what is it?"

Klaus lifted his head up to reveal a huge gash on his neck. Natalie picked up the Hybrid and brought him into the house, she placed him on the sofa and then went into the kitchen, she took out her last two blood bags and poured the blood into a bowl, she brought the bowl into the living room and placed it in front of Klaus. Klaus used all his strength to lift his head and drink the blood. 

When he was done Natalie sat on the floor in front of the couch and leaned her head back, she wanted to stay awake but she couldn't, she'd had a long day and she fell asleep. 

When she awoke she saw that during the night Klaus had shifted back and was currently naked, although Natalie was supposed to hate him she couldn't help having a look. When she snapped out of it she took a blanket out of the cupboard and draped it over him, she walked into the kitchen to start breakfast. About twenty minutes later Natalie felt a bit dizzy and she collapsed onto the floor.

Klaus woke up and saw that he was in an unfamiliar place but he did recognise the scent, he saw that he had a blanket over him, he got up and wrapped it around his waist and ventured through the house when he arrived in the kitchen he saw Natalie lying on the floor.

"Natalie!" he exclaimed as he knelt down beside her.

Klaus rolled her onto her back and tried to wake her but he couldn't so he picked her up and walked up the stairs and looked in every room until he found one that looked like her bedroom. He lay her on her bed then found her phone on the desk and made a call.

"Natalie?"

'Elijah its me, can you come over to Natalie's house?'

"What for?"

'I'll explain when you get here, also bring me some clothes'

Klaus hung up and looked at the corkboard above Natalie's desk, she had secretly drawn him, there were a few drawings of Klaus. He smiled then sat next to her on the bed, he put a stray hair behind her ear when he heard Elijah so he walked down the stairs and opened the door, Elijah couldn't come in because he had not been invited in. 

"Niklaus what is going on?"

"I shifted last night and for some reason I ended up here, also Natalie passed out" he said putting on the clothes Elijah had brought.

"Well she's awake now"

Klaus turned round to see Natalie hugging the wall to stay upright, she looked like death itself.

"What happened?" she said but her voice was strained it was barely audible

"Love you should rest, you passed out" said Klaus who walked over to her and held her up.

"You can come in Elijah"

"Thank you" he said as he stepped into the house.

"How are you feeling Natalie?"

"Tired"

"Lets get you to bed"

"I'll will call you later Niklaus"

"Bye Elijah" said Natalie as she was helped up the stairs by Klaus

Klaus walked into Natalie's bedroom with his arm looped with Natalie's, he led her over to the bed and she lay down. He was about to leave when Natalie grabbed his hand.

"Will you stay? I don't wanna be alone?"

"Of course Love"

Klaus lay next to Natalie as she moved to lay closer to him.

Klaus and Natalie slept through the rest of the day until Natalie woke up and ran to her bathroom and threw up in the toilet.

"You alright Love?"

"I don't know" she said sitting against the wall near the toilet

"Your hungry, how long has it been since you ate?" he said sitting  in front of her

"Few days"

"Here" said Klaus taking off his shirt

"No"

"Its alright Love, you need it"

"Are you sure?"

"Absolutely"

Natalie sat up and he moved his neck to the side and she sunk her teeth into his neck and drank his blood which for her was surprisingly good.

"Thank you" she said as he used his thumb to wipe away some blood at the side of her mouth.

"Come on lets get you to bed"

Klaus and Natalie slept through the night and the next morning Natalie woke up feeling a lot better.
