Mother Nature (also known as Gaia) PS I know she is from Santa Clause.

"Where is that bloody show pony?" asked Bunny who was waiting for Jack to arrive for a Guardian meeting.

"Cough** cough** Hiya Bunny" said a voice from the rafters of the room.

"Jack your here.......on time" said Tooth as she flew up to hug Jack.

"Yeah got here before cotton tail" said Jack as he looked at Bunny with his signature smirk.

"Right down to business.......we have big problem, mother nature is MISSING" said North with his usual flare.

What North had said struck a cord in Jack because nobody knew that Mother Nature was his and the other seasons mother. Jack flew down from the rafters.

"What? How is that possible?" he Asked

"I dont know, but until she is found the other seasons will stay here at the pole" 

"The seasons are coming here!" said Jack who sounded nervous and a little scared.

"Scared snowflake" said voice Jack knew all too well. His sister, Summer.

Jack turned around to see all three of his sisters standing behind him. "Summer, Spring, Autumn good to see you"

"Shut up Frost, we all know thats a lie" said Spring who was standing behind Summer with Autumn. Summer seemed to be the leader of the group.

"Ladies welcome to the pole" said North ignoring the insult just thrown at Jack. "Please make yourselves at home and we Guardians will get to work finding Mother Nature"

"Thank you North for your hospitality" said Autumn. Jack knew instantly that was a lie the seasons were horrible people, they were sucking up to North.

"Of course, any friend of Gaia is friend of mine" "Now do you know anything that could help in our search?"

"Why dont you ask Jack?" said Spring

"What do you mean?" Asked Tooth looking between Jack and Spring.

"Really Spring, you still on that?" asked Jack

"You were the last one to see her Jack, before she disappeared" said Summer

"Jack?" asked Bunny

"We had a conversation thats all!"

"I dont believe you, you've always hated her" said Autumn

"HOW DARE YOU!!!" shouted Jack who was now inches from Autumn's face. The Guardians had never heard Jack shout before, everyone was surprised.

Sandy nudged North for him to do or say something. 

"Okay why dont we all calm down"

"NO she's saying I had something to do with Gaia disappearing"

"All three of us think that Jack" Said Summer who had pushed Jack away from Autumn. Luckily Jack was wearing his hoodie if he wasnt he would have two hand shaped burns on his chest. 

"Don't touch me Summer"

"Or what Killer?" She was inches from Jacks face and she was angry but so was Jack, although he was a little taken back by the nickname, it had been a while since anyone called him that.

"Jack! your hair!" exclaimed Tooth. 

Jack's hair was turning brown, he had been standing close to Summer for too long, he was warming up, which is not good for a winter spirit.

"Get away from me Summer NOW" Summer and Jack backed up from each other and Jacks hair had stopped changing although it was now half white and half brown. "Look what you did, stay away from me Summer, I mean it" and with that Jack flew off and went to the library.

"What just happened?" asked Bunny

"Jack and I cant be close to each other for too long or I start warming him up which is a bad  thing for him"

"That kinda makes sense, but that also means you cant touch each other" says Tooth

"Thats right, if Jack and I touch each others bare skin, he gets burned. Its also why we've never gotten along, were polar opposites"

~~~~~~The Library 30 minutes later~~~~~

Jack was sitting on the window sill with the window open trying to cool himself down but after a while his hair hadn't changed back.

"Jack, my boy there you are" said North who pulled up a chair and sat beside him. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, fine" 

"Has your hair...."

Jack took down his hood to reveal his half white, half brown hair.

"I've always hated it when my hair does this"

"Summer told us what happened and to be honest I like it"

Jack looked and North who seemed to have a worried look on his face.

"Are you okay North?"

"Im worried about Gaia, she is good friend"

"Yeah I'm worried too, but we'll find her, if she wants to found that is"

"What do you mean?"

"She's done this before. During the dark ages she vanished without a trace for five months, she never told us where she went, we looked everywhere for her"

"I dont remember that"

"You guys were a little to busy to notice, with Pitch and all"

"Ah yes"

Tooth busted in. "North we have something" Jack and North both got up and followed Tooth to the globe room.

"What did you find?" asked Jack who was keeping his distance from Summer and the others.

"There in London, England, its like the weather is going haywire" said Tooth "Thats where she is, I just know it" 

"TOO THE SLEIGH" "Spring, Summer, Autumn stay here"

The guardians followed North to the sleigh, whilst the three seasons stayed behind. North took off and threw a portal snow globe and the maneuvered right through it.

~~~~England~~~~

"That was rough portal" said North

"Your telling me mate" said Bunny as he threw up over the side.

"Cant keep your carrots down cotton tail?" said Jack while sniggering.

"Shut......up Frost" said Bunny while throwing up over the side of the sleigh........again.

"We're here, London. The globe is saying the epi-centre of weird weather is just under us" "Buckle up"

North put the Sleigh into a nose dive doing straight down.

~~On the ground~~

"Are you insane North? you could've killed us!" said Bunny wobbling out of the sleigh.

"Bunny, bunny.... you need to loosen up.... learn to see......"

"see the wonder in the world WE KNOW.......blimey its cold" said Bunny who instinctively looked at Jack whilst shivering

"Hey dont look at me, im not doing this" said Jack putting his hands up in surrender of Bunny's comment.

"Bunny enough, remember why we are here" said Tooth with a mothering tone.

The guardians walked around the epi-centre of the storm looking for Gaia. No one had any luck. No one except Jack.

"MOTHER!!!" shouted as he looked at his mother who now had no control over her powers at all, hence the crazy storm.

"Jack?....Jack what are you doing here?"

"Looking for you, Mother, what's happening?" he said trying to get closer to her.

"No Jack stay away I don't want you to get hurt, PLEASE" Gaia's only thought was for the safety of her only son. 

Jack and Gaia were as close as any mother and son could be, they told each other everything. Jack was really beginning to get scared as the tears poured out of his eyes but were brushed away by the wind before they could freeze to his skin. The wind kept pushing him back, but he was not going to give up on trying to save his mother.

~~~~Meanwhile~~~~

"GAIA!!!" shouted North who hadn't noticed Jack was no longer with the group, none of them had noticed.

"She's not here North" said Bunny who sounded like he had given up hope.

"WE WILL FIND HER, IM NOT GIVING UP" said North in his most menacing tome with made Bunny cower a little. "Sandy what is it?" Sandy had been trying to get is attention for a few seconds.

Sandy was rubbing his index finger and thumb together trying to figure out what the liquid was because it was certainly not rain. Then he showed a picture of Jack above his head then a crying child.

"Jacks tears?" asked Tooth. Sandman nodded 

"Wait, where is Jack?" Asked North

"Oh... he went that way" said Bunny pointing to the left.

"AND YOU NEVER SAID!" Shouted Tooth  "Come on Jack needs our Help"

Everyone ran towards Jack, but the storm was making it hard to see, even Tooth had to stop flying and walk because her wings weren't strong enough to battle the wind speeds.

The Guardians came across Jack trying to get towards Gaia but getting pushed back by the wind.

"JACK" shouted North. He ran up to Frost who was exhausted at tying to get to her through the wind.

"I can't get to her, the winds to strong" said Jack who was now terrified at losing his mother but he was too good at hiding his emotions no one noticed.

"GAIA!! ARE YOU WELL?" asked North

"North?, get Jack out of here, please I dont want to hurt him or any of you"

"Mother, please we have to get you away from all these people or someone could get hurt"

"Jack you could get hurt, I cant loose my son, I won't not after what happened to Winter, I wont mourn another child, I WONT" Gaia replied the guardians looked confused but not for long the storm was getting worse, Gaia's emotions were all out of whack.

"Mother please, what happened to Winter was not your fault we know it, the others know it, we all know it. What happened to Winter was a tragedy, but we can't change the past, but we can learn from it please mother the world needs mother nature...... AND I NEED MY MOTHER" shouted Jack who was no longer holding in all his pain, he was letting it all out. 

The wind was dying down and Jack took his chance before it started up again. He ran to his mother leaving his staff on the ground next to the guardians. He ran as fast as he could as he collapsed down next to his mother and hugged her with every ounce of strength he had left. The storm instantly disappeared.

"It was my fault" sobbed Gaia into the fabric of Jack's hoodie.

"No it wasnt, if anyone's to blame its me, I should've been a better brother to her. She was my sister and I let her down, I let everyone down, I let you down, Im sorry, Im so sorry" Jack was crying into his mothers shoulder finally letting out all of his pain, the pain he had been holding in for so long.

 The guardians decided to wait for them at the sleigh, they had a lot of explaining to do back at the pole. Sandy picked up Jack's staff and took it with him back to the sleigh.

Gaia looked up and cupped Jack's head in her hands. "No Jack, you were the best brother she could've ever had, no one could've done it better, this is not on you, Do you understand me?"

"I understand mother, I was so scared, I thought I lost you"

"Shhhh, its okay Im here now and im not going anywhere" said Gaia who was hugging Jack again. "Jack your hair?" said Gaia as she pulled away from Jack and ran her hand through his hair.

"Oh until we found you North let the other seasons stay at the pole, summer and I may have had an argument or two" said Jack looking down apologetically. "Im sorry mother, I know you hate it when we fight" 

"What am I going to do with the two of you?" she and Jack started laughing a little as he helped her up.

"Are you okay mother?, I mean really okay?" asked Jack who looked at his mother terrified her answer might be a bad one.

  "Jack, thats not something you should be worrying about"

"But I do worry mother, I've worried about you since you disappeared during the dark ages"

Gaia stopped in her tracks remembering where she went and why. She went to her daughters grave.

"Mother? are you okay?"

"Jack, you know I love you right?"

"I mean yeah of course and I love you, mother is everything okay?"

"Everything's fine and if its ever not I will tell you, I promise, but only if you do the same"

"I will mother, I promise. Now lets go and pray Summer and the others haven't completely destroyed the pole" said Jack who sniggered.

"Jack be nice, although I do agree, those three are very destructive when they are left alone together" Gaia and Jack laughed. Jack put his mothers arm around the back of his head and led her back to the sleigh.

"Good your back we were beginning to worry about you" said North who helped Gaia into the front seat of the sleigh. "Tis good to see you old friend"

"Good to see you to North and thank you for looking after my boy, he seems very happy living at the pole with you"

"Don't mention it, he is joy to have, he brightens place up, no?"

"He brightens up every room he walks into" 

~~Back of the sleigh~~

Sandy lifted Jack's staff up and handed it to him with a smile.

"Thanks Sandy, for keeping it safe for me"

Sandy created a top hat and lifted it to Jack.

"So Snowflake, Mother Nature is you mother Huh?" asked Bunny

"Bunny! now is not the time" said Tooth who smacked the back of Bunny's head.

"No Tooth its okay, Yes Bunny the four seasons were created by Mother Nature, Its common sense really"

Gaia turned her head hearing what Jack had just said "Jack play nice" "Although Bunny, he is right its common sense" Jack smiled at Gaia for standing up for him, she was the only one who did.

"Jack your hair!" said Tooth

"Oh god what now" Jack looked at the small globe the the dashboard and used it a mirror. "My hair is white again"

"Awww I liked it Brown" said North "But you wouldn't be you without signature white hair"

"Thanks North, I think" Jack mumbled that last part not knowing if that was a compliment or not.

~~~Back at the Pole~~~

"Welcome to pole" said North as he helped Gaia out of the sleigh "Pack it away boys" shouted North to his yeti's and elves.

"Its wonderful North" 

North led the group into the globe room and sat Gaia down in a chair next to the fire.

"Go get other seasons and 9 hot chocolates" said North to Phil.

Seconds later the three seasons came running into the room like children on Christmas morning.

"MOTHER!!" All of them shouted in unison. Gaia got up and hugged the three seasons whilst Jack watched from the rafters.......again. Its not like he could join in on a hug with summer without getting burned, but he liked his quality time with his mother, just him and her and no one else, just the way he liked it, but his mother had other plans.

"Where's Jack?" asked Gaia

"Why would we care?" asked Spring

"Spring he is your brother, he's family whether you like it or not"

"Winter was family too and look what he did to her" said Autumn 

Jack quietly scoffed they had always believed Jack had somehow killed Winter just because they were close with each other.

"Autumn, Jack did nothing to your sister, none of us did, what happened was tragic and none of us could've foreseen it or stopped it. We can't change the past, all we can do is..."

"Learn from it" Tooth finished her sentence "Sorry, Jack always says that"

"Do you all care about Jack?" Gaia asked the guardians and the seasons alike.

Everyone nodded their heads even Bunny, the seasons stood still they had resented Jack for as long as they can remember they didn't know how they truly felt about their brother.

"Spring, Summer, Autumn Jack is your brother, he's family. Have you three ever actually gotten to know him before deciding you dont like him because of some of the things he's done?"

"I guess not" said Summer quietly

"Girls, we've all done things were not proud of and we've all done things we wish we could take back. I think you three owe your brother an apology and a fresh start" Gaia felt a tug at her foot, there at her ankle level was an elf with a tray of hot chocolate. "Why thank you little one" 

The little elf handed out Hot chocolate to the whole group but only one remained Jack's, who was still hiding in the rafter listening to them talk.
