Gemini POV

I went running out of my house cheerfully as I was going to meet up with my best friend.

Zack Black.

I call him Zackie because he doesn't like the nickname. That grumpy cat. I runned towards a tree and I climbed up a ladder that lead to a tree house we builded together.

We both are quite understanding of each other, since he's the son of Pitch Black, who controls nightmares and I am the daughter of Hades, which is self explanatory.

I came up to the tree house, and I saw Zack looking out the window, leaning his head against his hand.

His pitch black hair and silver eyes made him so handsome,....and yes I had a crush on him, but looking at his looks, any girl could fall for him and I am sure a lot of them have.

But unfortunately he doesn't look at me that way, you could say he friendzoned me, always saying how 'we are just friends' to people that tease us about hanging out.

If only he could feel the same way, but what do I know about love, I am only 13.

"Hey Zackie!" I yelled hugging into him, smiling widely. Unfortunately my smile faded away, as I heard Zack sobbing.

"Hey Zack, what's the matter?" I asked him, and he looked at me with teary eyes and hugged me tightly.

I was in shock. I have never seen him in such state.

"My dad wants to move away. I won't see you ever again" he said, putting his head on my shoulder.

Tears dripped down my face hearing that. I couldn't believe I would loose my childhood best friend, someone I could trust with anything and everything.

"I don't want to loose you" I hugged him back, and sobbed, and he hugged me tighter.

A week later.

Unfortunately I had to say my goodbye to the best person in my life who had to leave me possibly forever.

I came up to him and hugged him and he hugged me back.

We told each other our goodbyes and he walked to his car, going in and driving away, while he waved at me and I waved back.

This was officially the worst day of my life.

~5 years later~

Zack POV

I was walking with my friends through the school, to the cafeteria. I smirked at all the girls who walked passed me as they looked at me and melted.

You could say I was a typical bad boy.

My friends Henry and Max were two people I could trust with anything in this school. I even told them about my childhood crush. The auburn haired beauty, Gemini.

It always upsets me when I think of her. She was my best friend, a person I could always turn to and she could always put a smile on my face, but because of my dad wanting to move, I unfortunately had to loose her.

"Hey Zack. There is a new chick in our school. I'm sure you would love to check her out" Henry commented laughing. He knew I always loved new girls in our school, because I could always impress them with my charms, before they'll get to know any other guy in this school. I was unstoppable that way.

"Well let's meet the new lady" I said smirking and we walked towards the office.

I looked around, spotting no new face around the office, until a girl turned with her back towards me, caught my eye. Her auburn hair reached her shoulders and she had a red jumper on and of course some jeans and black boots.

She looked quite hot already, without even showing me her face.

Suddenly she turned, facing towards me. I froze.

It's her...

It can't be!

It's Gemini!

I smiled and laughed, tears filling my eyes. I didn't care about my bad boy image at this point, I needed to speak to her.

I runned up to her and she finally faced me fully, and looked up at me.

"Oh hi-- what? Zack?" Gemini looked at me in shock. Her dark brown eyes as beautiful as always.

"I can't believe it you're here!" I said hugging her tightly and she hugged me back without hesitation.

"It's so nice to see you" she said and I felt tears dripping down on my shirt.

"Its amazing to see you too" I replied, looking at her with a smile.

"Honestly, I thought you would forget about me by now" Gemini replied laughing slightly and I shook my head.

"Of course not! Are you crazy? I would never forget someone I fell for-" I paused, regretting what I just let slip out my mouth.

"Wait what?" She asked in surprise and shock.

"Well I...I love you" I replied. I did still have feelings towards her, since we were young. That feeling didn't want to fade away as hard as I tried.

"You do? Well I always had a crush on you too" she replied looking down shyly.

I looked at her in surprise but I let the moment take over and I lifted her head up and kissed her.

It was an amazing and soft kiss which I wish that could last forever, but that would made us stop breathing and die which isn't a great thing.

We pulled back and I kissed her forehead.

She blushed to the point she perfectly blended in with her jumper, which made me chuckle.

"I don't want to loose you ever again" I said and we hugged each other once more.
