Katelyn's POV

I've never been one for love. I mean I just wasn't very good or intrested in it. Then I met Travis. I swear to Irene he was the single most annoying soul I ever met. But no matter how many times I've turned him down, he keeps trying. I hate it and love it at the same time.

I thought about this as I sat on the couch in the house. Aph and Kawaii~Chan were out working so I was just having an anime and stuff marathon. Suddenly my phone went off and I checked it

T-Travis K-Katelyn

T- Heyyyyyyyyyy baby 😙

K- What do you want Travis?

T- Woah! Can't I talk to you like a friend? 😕

K- Knowing you, you have something planned.

T- No tricks baby. Just want to talk.

K-. . .

T- Kate?

K- Sorry. I was trying to find the middle finger emijo. 😡

T- It's okay love.💕

What's with all the nicknames? This is forward even for him.

K- Are you feeling okay?

T- Yeah I'm fine. Why?

K- You're acting funny.

T- Nah. I'm just thinking of you again. 😍

K- Travis are you serouisly okay?

T- No I'm not. 😔

K- Why? What's wrong?

T- I miss seeing your face and hearing your beautiful voice. 😢

K- You do know we live right across from each other right? 😑

T- I know. I just don't want to bug my blueberry. 😅

K- You're such a dork! 😧

We kept texting and I'll have to admit, he did make me smile a bit.

*Six months later*

I opened my eyes and looked at my phone. There was a message from Travis as usual.

T- Morning Princess!

K- Morning Travis.

T- You okay? You seem off.

Truth was, I wasn't fine. I felt sick to my stomach. Curse all that sushi I ate last night. But there was something else. Something that made my heart beat fast every time Travis responded. Probably heart problems

K- Not really. Feeling kind of sick. 😖

T- Aw! 😣 Poor Kate!

K- I don't understand why you care so much. 😕

T- Cause. I care about you baby. 💞

I felt my face get warm. It was nice that he cared. But still my heart was pounding in my chest.

K- Hey Travis.

T- Yes love?

K- Can you keep a secret?

T- I promise babe.

K- Aph is dating Arron.

T- WHAT 😲

K- I know! 😥

T- That's so weird!

K- That's what I thought!

T- Hey Kate.

K- Yeah Trav?

T- Can I tell you something?

K- Sure

God dammit. What was he gonna tell me? Now my heart was in hyper drive.

Is this how he felt when I had to tell him that?

T- I'm in love. 😍

K- With who?

Is it me? How would I feel if it was me?

T- A really pretty girl. Like really pretty. Supermodel pretty.

K- What's her name though?

T- I can't tell you that over texting. Garroth checks my messages.

K- Well just call me.

T- No. The guys will hear. How about I met you at the park later today and I can tell you then.

K- Travis. That sounds like a date. Are you asking me on a date?

T- Maybe. 😶

K- Am I the pretty girl?

T- Yeah....😶😶😶😶

K- Oh...

T- I'm sorry!

K- No don't be! I'd love to go in a date with you!

Did I really just say that?

T- Okay! I'll pick you up at 5 tonight!

K- Okay. See you then.

T- See you then baby. 😙

Travis just asked me out on a date and I said yes! I said yes and I was flustered!

Am I falling for Travis?

*Later at 5*

I sat on the couch watching Once Upon A Time, waiting for Travis to come pick me up. I was dressed in a dark blue tee shirt, black ripped jeans and white converse. I heard a knock at the door and answered.

"Heyyyyyyyyyy Katelyn!" Travis said. He wore his usual outfit of a green hoodie, jeans and tennis shoes.

"Hey Travis." I said. Travis smiled and I felt my face get a bit red. Travis took my hand in his and pulled me to his car. I got in the passenger seat and Travis got in the drivers seat.

"So. I was thinking we could have picnic at the park. I brought the stuff for it. What do you think?" Travis asked, a light pink dusting his features.

Thank Irene. He's just as nervous as I am.

"Yeah sure! That's sounds great!" I said. The pink on Travis' face got darker and he turned away to start the car.

We spent most of the car ride in silence, other than Travis singing along to some song on the radio.

"You've got to spend some time love. You've got to spend some time with me. And I know you'll find love. I will protect your heart." Travis sang in tune with the radio. He was a really good singer.

Soon we were at the park. We got out and Travis grabbed a picnic basket out of the trunk. We walked over to by a pond.

"You wanna eat here?" He asked. I nodded and we set up the picnic. Travis had packed just PB and J sandwiches plus Doritos, ether way it was nice.

"So.... How have you been Kate?" Travis asked. I shrugged and took another bite of my sandwich.

"Any new music you like?" He asked again and I shrugged.

"Not even One Direction?" He asked and I felt my face flush red. I shook my head no violently. Travis chuckled.

"I know you like that song I was singing before. You've got to spend some time love." He sang the last part and crawled towards me slowly. I swallowed and looked at him.

"You've got to spend some time with me. And I know you'll find love." He was inches away from my face. I felt my face burn red and saw his face was slightly red.

"I will protect your heart." He whispered. He grabbed my hand and leaned forward. My eyes close on instinct and our lips touched. Softly at first then rough, like it was the last time we would see each other. I pressed against him and ran my fingers through his hair.

We kissed for a long time before we had to come up for air. We were breathless and silently decided to go back to the car.

Travis drove me back and when we pulled up to the house, he kissed me again. I kissed him back and suddenly I felt his hand sneak around to my ass. I pulled away and smacked his hand.

"We have to go on a second date before you get to second base." I whispered into his ear. With that I got up and went inside.
