That colour. That beautiful, vibrant colour. I'd never seen it before in my life.

Blue.

Her eyes shone with happiness, making that colour look even more amazing. And I couldn't look away, I couldn't. My gaze was locked on those beautiful blue eyes.

"We're soulmates," she said, breaking the silence. It was what we were both thinking.

"Yeah, I guess we are."

The blue-eyed girl smiled at me and I smiled back, once again entranced by that beautiful colour.

We stood in the middle of the library, just staring at each other. She had a book in her hand, one I'd never heard of. I was about to ask her about it when she spoke again.

"This is going to sound crazy, but.... Would you like to meet up with me sometime? Get to know each other?"

I simply nodded my head. Our eyes hardly ever broke contact, both mesmerized by the new colours we'd never seen before that moment.

The thing that broke the silence that time was her phone. She pulled it out of her pocket and frowned at the screen. "I have to go meet my brother, but I'll call you later if you give me your number."

We quickly exchanged numbers, and as she walked away, I realized something.

"Hey, wait!" She turned around, her blue eyes once again locking with mine. "I never got your name."

She smiled again. 

"Bella."
