PART ONE

"Uhhh Anne someone is by Gate...2" Selen said looking out the window seeing a smoke bomb go off

"It is clear that this is our area right?" I (Anne) said as she went to the horses to see hers sleeping

"Just take mine it's easier" Selen said

"Wait...wake yours up there's three people" Selen said closing the blinds and goes to her horse putting on the mask I made her out
of chains

We get on our horses- which I found, tamed and made saddles for- only in about 4 months

We get to gate 2 as I pull out my guns attached to the side of the horse and my leg holster

"Shit a family 3 o'clock" I said ducking behind an old car

"Where 12 o'clock again?" CeCe said as i point east as she roughly draws a clock in the dirt as i grab her wrist and pull her behind the car

"There that way" I say pointing a direction as she peeks under the car and sees

"Hey there's a girl there- she kinda looks like who you described as a perfect girlfriend" CeCe said as I look at her

"1. I'm not looking to date anyone and 2. She looks 10" I said, I only told her once what my perfect girlfriend would look like and be like I guess she listened

"Why don't we approach them friendly?" CeCe said as I handed he a pistol as she rolled her eyes and reloaded it and stood up pointing the gun at the three

"GET ON YOUR KNEES OR I WILL TAKE THEM" Selen yelled aiming the fully loaded pistol at Joel, Tess, and Ellie

"Holy shit!" Ellie yelled as she pulled out a dagger

Joel and Tess both pull out there guns and point it at Selen

"Drop your weapons" Selen said feeling slight pressure of the two guns

"Your clearly outnumbered" Joel said as Elaina comes bio from behind and kicks Ellie's hands causing the knife to fly out of them

"Hey what the shit!" Ellie screamed as Elaina grabbed Ellie in a choke hold and holds a gun to her head

••ANNES POV••

"Now will you drop your weapons" I said holding the 10 year old girl

She tries to bite me but I just tighten my grip- I wasn't going to kill her- yet...

The two adults looks at each other before they dropped there weapons

"Gets on your knees" I said as the girl tried ripping off my mask as I just shoved he to the ground

She re-grabs her knife and turns around

I scream as my legs gets stabbed

CeCe grabs my sniper and hits the end of it to the kids temple knocking her out

CeCe started to demand orders from the two conscious people

I held onto the knife trying to mentally prepare myself to rip it out

I try slowly pulling it out but as I see blood drip down my leg the higher my heartbeat goes up

I look up at CeCe to see the man staring at me

"I can help you wrap it up" he offered as I quickly ripped it out as I held back a scream as I covered the wound Blood spilling from in between my fingers

"Anne your in no shape to fix it and I don't know how just let him" CeCe said as I look up at her as I stand up

"I'm...fine" I said as I limp my way over to CeCe as I point guns at the two of them

I rested all of my weight on my left leg- my un-stabbed leg

I heard a few runners as i crouch down

"Anne there nothing" CeCe said as I slowly stood up wincing at the pain

"Let me wrap you up" the man said as CeCe was busy in quickly fixing the tester

"We'll do that at the...bass" I said as I get more and more out of breath but I don't move

"Anne you ok?" CeCe comes up to me as I nod, starting the dizziness

"Sits down your clearly not" as soon as I sit down the world starts spinning as ringing grows in my ears

I see the man gets up and go to his backpack and pull out stuff

I heard clickers and a few runners as the woman comes back with both of our horses

I feel a sharpe pain in my leg as I scream but I don't cry

I screamed...which means clickers

CeCe looked around as the woman started to pack up stuff

My vision starts to go black as I reach out to CeCe

She was to kind hearted she trusts everyone to easily

I felt more stinging pain in my leg that made me pass out

•••Selen POV•••

I sit by Anne as I look around for clickers

The man told the woman to put the kid on one of the horses- my horse

I felt a hand on my knee as I look to Anne who's eyes are closed

"No no no no" I say as I put my hand on her chest and two fingers on her wrists

"She just passed out she'll be fine...so what's your deal" the man asks

"My deal?..." I had no idea what he was talking about

"Just put her on the horse" the man said as I pick up Anne as set her on her horse

"So what's your name" I say as I grab the reins from my horse and tie them to mine

"Joel you have somewhere safe?" Joel asks

"Yeah we have a bunker we been staying at" my Anxiety started to grow as I started bitting my lips

I get onto Elaina's  horse and starts riding to the bunker

I heard gunshots as I look back to see Anne's eyes half open as she grips the back of my shirt

"It's ok" I say clearly false I felt like crying screaming and running all at the same time

I felt a hand on my back as I started to control my breathing- somehow even when she's half unconscious she manages to calm me down

I managed to get it the gate get in with seconds to spare

I get off my horse as I help Anne down who's gained a bit more conscious

I look over to see if Joel needs help as a gun is pointed at me

"Open the gate" he said as I picked up Anne her legs tiredly wrapped around my waist her head buried in a crook of my neck

My face reddens as I use one hand to enter the code

I pulled a rope and let Joel and the girl (who was carrying the kid) walk in

The trap went off as I felt Anne's hands grip the back of my shirt

Joel and the woman were in a net we hid under the rug whilst the little kid was thrown off to the side

I walks in and set Anne down on the bottom bunk of our two bunk beds as she lets go of me

I pick up the kid as I hear Joel and the woman yell but are they really saying anything

I put the kid in a cage type confinement as i grab two water bottles and two cans of beans and toss them through the net which was pretty close to the ground

I started poking the two pulling out an guns or knifes

As soon as I get a good amount I put it all in a spare safe

I go over to the kid and put a lock onto the door

I then turn my attention to Anne

I go over to her with a bottle of water as I brush her nearly white hair out of her face- and not cause she was old she was only 16 it's because of how blonde it is

I help her sit up as she slowly drinks water

"Let us down" Joel said

"I will when El-"

"Anne" I turn back to see Elaina swing her feet off the bed

"Nono you need rest" I said rushing over to her keeping her on the bed

"I'm fine" Anne said staring up at me with her baby blue eyes in the sun they look nearly white considering her whole closet is black

"I've know you forever your not ok" I say as I turn back to Joel who's in a ball of rope that Elaina tied into a net with the woman

"I'll let you go when Anne gets better"

"That is max a week!" Joel said

"We'll it's your daughters fault-"

"She's not my daughter" Joel said quite sternly

"What are your names anyway" I say as I go over to a piece of paper

"I'm not saying" the girl said

"It's just a name and plus I'll get it later when we- we should do that soon" I say talking to myself, the whole kidnapping thing and Anne's hurt it's just...getting to me

I felt a hand on my shoulder as I look over to see Anne

"No your supposed to be in bed" I say playing down the clipboard with the paper

"Rosewood. I'm fine" Elaina said more serious then she ever been

I heard the kid moving around the lock as I go back and crouch in front of the fence that was acting like a gate to the cage

"Hello!" I said in an overly sweet voice

"You bitch!" She yelled back as I smile

"What's your name?" I say keeping the sweet tone

"Veronica" she said trying to get closer to me to get the keys hanging off of my belt

"Ok well how about we all get some sleep and then we can do our tests and inspections in the morning" I say as I open up another cell next to Veronica's

I get a revolver and see that Anne is holding her big ass gun that she made

No matter how many times I ask I never get to use it

I carefully cut the rope and pointed the gun at the two

"I'm the cell please" I said as Anne looked to weak to fight against my politely way of saying it

They walk to the cell and go in arms on their head

"Anne please go lay down I'll get you Advil"

"I'm fine" Anne said only leaning on one side of her body

"No your not you got stabbed please go lay down" Anne rolls her eyes then goes to her bunk and sits down

I lock up the cage and cover the front with some old curtains- for privacy...ish

I go to another room and grab a bottle of Advil that I made and pour out two

I go over to Anne and had her the Advil as she puts them in her mouth and drinks water

Anne lays down and turns towards the wall (away from the cells) and starts to sleep

I grab a blanket off the other bunk and lay it on her

I go to the top bunk and go to bed

I kept my mask on same as Anne so we don't "risk revealing our identity"
