"Look Cat, I know you just want that, but I can't give it to you! You know that!" she gasped. There!

"Why not?" she froze, hearing another girl's voice.

"Cat, look, I can't-" 

"NIGHTMARE!!!" Ohh, he was gonna get fried.

"SPARK???" Nightmare turned around.

"YOU... TRAITOR!!!!" 

"Spark, let me explain-"

"You cheated on me!!" Spark yelled. 

Nightmare stepped back. The girl next to him walked towards her. Her eyes were gentle, but she looked at Spark with... judgement? 

"Pfft, cheated on you? Marey never cheats on someone he loves. You're his everything, Spark. Heh. I thought you would believe him. Am I the only one who ever believes him?" she asked. She revealed a locket with the name LYNX on it. "He gave you his locket. I have mine with me. The locket was a friendship symbol for us. He gave it to you. Didn't he?"

Spark took a step back.

"Hehehehhe." She said, a wide, insane grin on her face.

"I just wanted his apple... It's the last thing I have of him. What else can I have when he gave away his friendship locket to his sweetheart?" 

"I..." Spark was shook. 

"Heh! I can't believe the people around Marey. Sigh, whatever. I'll go." 

As she walked away, Spark looked at Nightmare.

"I'm sorry. How old is she?" she wanted to know. Just what she is.

"She was a baby when we met. We met again when she was 5. I threw her off a cliff when she was 11. She remembered me... and went to find me..." he looked away. "She's 29 now. She's merciful, but so broken I think she's partly insane." 

"Partly? Not completely?" she looked to the side. "Why though? I don't understand why she just, did that." 

"9 years ago, she lost her brother to non-stop Gencide. She permanently lost her AU since the kid would no longer RESET or CONTINUE. Then she went to Underswap, meeting the same fate of Genocide. She then tried out a Fake Timeline on Swap!Chara and it gave drastic side effects, causing her to occasionally glitch into lv100. Then she found the dark Sanses, my team. She joined us. She's the only one with a mercy option. It was apparent, though, she could glitch, but not only lv100. Her 'original' personality, Matcha, the princess of Shifters, tries to take control of her body. Lynx is only able to stay as Lynx because of us. She's pretty much slipping." 

"Huh... Look, I'm sorry I doubted you. I didn't realise you had such a weird friend." Spark sighed sadly. 

"No one knew. She's my little secret." he chuckled. "Not so anymore." 

"Well, you ould've given me something else than a plain old locket."

"Oh? Like what?"

"Um, a ring?"
