Lotus tried again. She summoned the vines from the ground and launched them at Dummy. It didn't dodge, but it quivered in fear.

"Dummy! Move to the left!" Lotus warned. Dummy was struck with a thorn from the vine and was thrown to the right. She ran over to Dummy. Crying, she apologized. "I'm sorry, Dummy, I didn't think you'd not be able to react." She's ten years old now, donning on a white sundress and purple flower crown. "Tussy? Sweetie, you okay?" Nightmare asked. Lotus looked at her mom and wailed: "Help, Mummy! Dummy is hurt!" 

Lynx walked down the garden, seeing the scene. Dream walked from her side to Dummy's and healed it. "There we go, Dum-Dum." Nightmare smiled quietly at how merciful his daughter is. He even wanted to call her Cattwo. 

Cross ran away again when Lotus was five, saying he needed to finish fixing his AU. Nightmare took it as a break up and kind of went into emotional instability, worried how his dream would play out. 

Lotus walked over to Dream and hugged him. Lynx watched with sorrow at them. They all have a happy family. She doesn't. 

"Ha luo..." Lynx turned around. Koko, her AU's Flowey, bobbed side-to-side. "Now, now, buddy, that isn't nice to not introduce me to new people." She stepped forward. "If you wanna play, do it with me. Leave them out of this."  Koko chuckled. You really are fun." He lunged and stabbed Lynx with his vines. She bit down hard on her lip to not scream. The pain brought burning sensations to her entire entity, but she decided she would face this on her own. She always did. 

"Nightmare... what's wrong with Lynx? She looks..." Dream started before Lotus screamed. She saw the vines enter the girl. "Mummy, she's in trouble!!" Lynx chuckled strained as the pain became multiple in the flesh and the thorns ripped her from the inside.  She felt the vines shift, though, and newer, less thorny vines wrapped around Koko's. "Lotus...?" she turned around, the child's once purple eyelights were now a single, left eyelight in the shape of a yellow sunflower.

She summoned a mass of brambles, weeds and vines to trap the flower. "LEAVE HER ALONE!" She cried. Lynx was dropped and Dream picked her up. "Life signs unstable, SOUL weakening, we're losing her!"  Lotus used a giant vine to lock Koko and ran towards her uncle. 

Lynx felt her form dissolving and fluttering away in the wind. Nightmare choked back a sob as he watched her slowly dust. Is this the end?

Her SOUL floated up and hid away, making everyone think she's gone. 

Her SOUL tucked itself away in a single flower, waiting for them to find her.
