Lynx collapsed onto the floor. She felt as if the world was shuddering. In reality, she was shuddering. 

"Jam tart? I thought you'd like- OH MY GOD LYNX!" Fell ran and picked her up. Black goop spilled from her eyes and mouth. She felt so bad. 

"Aaaaaaaaaahh..." she managed. She felt her back burn with something... What? "AH!!!" four black tentacles shot out from her back. She cried out in pain. The tentacles seemed to stop growing and she looked like some black person. Her right eye was gone under the goop and her left eye was pink.

"ALPHYS!!!"

"HELP!!!" Fell shot up in bed. He turned to see Lynx, goopy and all, sleeping next to him. "Mrew..." she cooed in her sleep. He choked up slightly and started to cry. How could he have let that scientist mess his sweet, merciful Jam tart? "I'm sorry..." he whispered. "Umh... what? Cherry? Did you say something?" Oh yeah. Shoot. 

"N-nothing Jam tart." he stroked her hair. Nice way to start the morning. She smiled. "Sheesh. Cherry you're such a mystery." He licked her goopy cheek, surprisingly he didn't consume it. She sat up and looked at him. He looked tired. Well, life in Underfell is rough, so this isn't new. She decided to push aside her cultural confusion and kiss his foreskull, clearly he was shocked. This time, no memories popped up like some video. It was just... a kiss. He kind of felt better at that. Seeing her goopy form, he felt the dream come back to him. Alphys' experiment turned his sweet kitty into a black, slimy octopus. But she never changed her kitty catness. She giggled and cupped his boney face. "You're just the sweetest!" 

Nightmare gagged. Eeeeeew! He already had enough Cream fluff for once. Now LynxFell? Ewww! 

Lynx went to get ready. Fell just sat there, wondering why he would remember the experiment did that. Nightmare entered and said: "Hey, you up and over?" Fell just grunted. Nightmare's goopy form made him feel worse. "Maybe." Nightmare chuckled and sat down. "Look, the experiment she did turned her that way. It's not your fault." deep down, he blamed Fell for doing this to his best friend, but she wanted this, so, heh. Fell hugged his knees. "I can't stop thinking... Just... why? Why did I tell her? Why did she help? Why did we even get together?" Nightmare felt cold. He was guilty for dating her? 

"Why...?" Nightmare asked. "I don't deserve someone as good as her. She claims she's a cruse, but don't she know she's my blessing? I've lived my whole life learning to kill or be killed, but she was willing to change me. She wanted me to see that mercy is an option, despite I nearly killed her." Fell chuckled sadly.

"Hey guys? Wanna come down for breakfast?" Lynx called. Fell laughed like crazy, tears flowing down like river. Nightmare was uncomfortable. "I don't deserve to be with her! Why don't you take her???" Fell asked. "What the? Ok, one I'm not interested, two, she's my best friend! Now way am I going there! Three, she loves you. She loves you so much she's willing to die for you. Doesn't it fit?" he was really shook by Fell. 

"She..." Fell's eyelights went out, but he felt someone touching his face. "Cherry, are you ok?" oh, my. Fell couldn't glow right now. He was out of it. She wiped away his tears and gave him a foreskull-to-forehead touch. "It's ok, I love you." 

"I... I love ya too... I don't deserve it... But I do..."
