Nightmare crashed into the wall. He didn't want to deal with this again!

The gang slowly advanced towards him. "Nightmare." the leader said.

"Please, no..." Nightmare trembled, tears flowing out of his eyesockets.

"Nightmare please, we don't wanna hurt you." the female's voice was soft.

"Go away! I don't need anyone's help!" Nightmare growled. He threw a rock at the leader.

Lynx couldn't teleport like other Sanses, but Genocide taught her to dodge like lightning, so she missed the rock. "Marey..." she said.

Nightmare kept himself pinned to the wall. "Go away."

She walked towards him. "I don't want to. I know how you feel." Nightmare gasped. Yes, his chance! 

He took her hands. "You know how I feel? Let's run Lynx, together." 

She stepped back. "What?"

"You know how it's like to be a burden, you know how it's like to feel useless. Join me, Cat!"

"Lynx, no..." Fell said. "We love you... No one hates you Jammy! Are we not enough? Am I not enough?" (Inspired by my friend's line)

"Because you are enough..." Lynx looked at her best friend. "I will not let another fall." she pulled him closer. Nightmare felt nervous. O no!

He tried to pull again but this time, he was attacked by a hug. Dream held onto his brother.

"He's hurting, Marey." Lynx said. "Not from what you've done, but because you won't let him help you." (Again, inspired by my friend)

Nightmare felt his breath hitch as his body was attacked again and again by hiccups, before evolving into sobs.

"Why don't you just leave me??" he asked.

"I love you, brother. I don't want you to suffer just to protect me."
