(Admin: So I got a request to do a One-Shot with John Laurens and that's when this was made. Anyway let's get on with the story shall we?)

John had the biggest crush on Peggy but could never bring himself to tell her. He never understood why, he was usually the type of guy who wasn't shy about these sort things. His best friends tried to convince him to tell Peggy how he really felt but every time he tried he would get so nervous that he couldn't even speak.

"Come on John, stop being a chicken and just tell her already" Alex said trying to convince him to tell Peggy how he really felt

"I can't, every time I try to talk to her I get so nervous that I eventually end up saying the wrong thing"

Lafayette was having none of it so he slapped some sense into John before saying "Get a hold of yourself man and tell her"

"Owww" John said rubbing his cheek with his hand. John took a deep breath before saying "You're right I can do this"

"There ya go now go get her buddy" Alex said pushing John towards Peggy

"Uhh, Hi Peggy" John said waving awkwardly

"Hey John, what's up?" Peggy asked smiling

"I kind of have something to tell you"

"Sure what is it?"

John took a deep breath before saying "I like you and no not in a friend type of way, I have a crush on you"

Peggy smiled sweetly before kissing his cheek and asking "Well why didn't you just say so." John chuckled and took Peggy's hand very happy about how the way it turned out...
