Logan was not one for frivolous emotions like love. Love did not hold value in his eyes, so when this emotion hit him in the stomach, he did not appreciate it.

Patton had always been nice to everyone, so Logan was not surprised when it was him who made Logan feel this way. Logan was not pleased though. It was after the video Accepting Anxiety that Logan had developed feelings. He kept his feelings to himself, frustrated with Patton and life.

It was a sunny Saturday outside, which meant that Thomas was inside, scrolling through Twitter, and doing nothing productive. This mildly annoyed Logan. Not being needed for a video, the sides were in their rooms, or the kitchen, or wherever they needed to be. Logan was reading a book while sitting next to Virgil on the couch.

"You excited for VidCon?" Virgil asked, sensing that Logan wasn't actually reading, but was instead worrying about emotions.

"Are. No. I do not have time to listen to Thomas use Patton's dad jokes in front of a large group of people." Logan informed Virgil.

"How do you know that Patton won't just make an appearance on stage?" Virgil sat up slowly, one eyebrow raised.

"Oh sweet Plato, I should hope he doesn't." Logan set the book down, and made Virgil his center of focus. Virgil gave him a half smile, and stood up.

"I gotta go, but just so you know, emotions aren't bad." Virgil hesitated slightly when saying the last word.

Logan turned bright red, and opened his book again. "I do not know what would give you the notion that I think that way."

"Who do you think you're kidding, Logan? Almost everyone knows about your crush on Patton. We've known for a while."

"Do you really think that you're one to tell me about love?" Logan found his spot and continued reading, not looking like he cared.
.............. At VidCon.........

"I'm so nervous." Patton mumbled, adjusting his glasses. He had prepared a few dad jokes, but didn't actually know how many he would need. Logan watched Patton fidget nervously and looked over at Virgil.

"Do not fear, Patton, you are the master of dad jokes, and you will succeed." Roman lightly gripped one of Patton's shoulders, and smiled encouragingly. Patton shuddered, jitters getting to him.

Thomas summoned Patton into the main focus of his brain, and he vanished. After a while, Patton resurfaced, face flushed with happiness, and slight anticipation. He continued, and Logan felt itty bitty butterflies in his stomach each time Patton told a ridiculously incompetent joke.

Patton appeared again, fear written across his face. "I can't think of anymore. My mind went blank. I can't---" Patton broke down slightly and choked on a sob.

Logan took a step forward, and grabbed Patton's shoulders. "Listen to me. I bought a thesaurus today, and opened it up to find every page entirely blank."

"How does that help me?" Patton sniffled.

"I have absolutely no words to describe how angry I was." Logan gave Patton a small smile to comfort him.

"Did you just---" Patton's lips curled up as well.

"Be proud later. Go make people laugh." Logan gave him a small push back towards the other side of Thomas's brain. Patton's smile grew even more, and he went back onstage.

"I did it! We won!" Patton threw himself into Logan's arms with his smile so wide his eyes crinkled in the corners, and his dimples showed.

Logan stiffened on impact, but melted a little when he could feel the happiness radiating off of Patton. Virgil caught Logan's eye, and smirked.

"Thank you." Patton whispered into Logan's ear, sending the feeling of spiders crawling down his back.

"Aw quit the sappy stuff, I'm hungry." Virgil called over his shoulder, moving towards the part of Thomas's mind they went to get food.

"You're one to talk, Hot Topic!" Roman yelled at him, making Virgil choke on air.
