Alexander was up at 2:00 in the morning, in his lab.

He was working on something no one has ever done before, and he was sure it would change his life forever. Maybe even make it better than it is.

He was creating a man.

Not just any man, a man that is entirely made of metal parts, and human flesh. It may sound weird, becuase it is, but you see,

Alex is lonely. And all is life he was alone and only had his wits to entertain him. But now, he had the knowledge and equipment to make something, or should i say, someone, to finally be with him.

No more sad sack hamilton, it's now happy hamilton. All those days of being depressed are over. Time to wipe the slate clean, and start over.

At least, that's what he wants to happen.

After mindless hours of listening to "Cold play," and screwing in bolts and screws, the final product was completed. Alex wiped his forehead, and flipped the power button on.

The robots eyes opened, and sat up straight.

Alex was extremely anxious to see that everything was going so well so far.

"Hello, who are you?" It asked.

His voice was mellow and soft, yet you could tell it was a guys voice. This made Hamilton jump for joy, and bring a huge grin to his face for a change.

"Hello! I am your creator, Dr. Hamilton, but you may call me Alex." Hamilton said, and the robot formed a smile.

"Glad to meet you creator, but who am i?" He asked pointing to himself.

"Your name is John."

"Johnnnn... Johhhn... John!." He exclaimed with a bright smile.

"Yep! That's you!"

"Yep! That's you!." He mocked back.

"I can't believe this." Alex said, running his hand through his hair smiling brightly.

His eyes were getting teary, and the robot frowned.

"What's the matter creator? Your eyes are creating liquid."

"Im just so happy." His voice slightly cracked, and hugged his creation.

"I finally have a friend."
