It was around 2 in the morning, and i awake from a nightmare. My heart was thumping, and my body was tense.

Damn dream... Almost felt to real...

I sat up, and took a deep breath.

It was just a dream.

I check the time,

2:00 AM.

Still dark out obviously, and then it hit me.

Its Christmas day.

I leap out of bed and go to the nearest window. I press my hands and face against the cold glass. A blanket of snow was covering everywhere. A smile crossed my face, and i step back.

I rush to Alex's room, and i creak the door open.

I peek in and see him asleep at his desk. Paper's were everywhere, and i slowly walk toward him. I stood there contemplating if i should tap his shoulder or not..

"Alex..." I whisper, wiggling his shoulder.

"Waaaaaake up!" I whisper shout.

"UgH." He mumbled and furrowed his brows.

"Its snoooooowing!"  I whisper shout again, but with joy.

"No... I need to feed the lamp... Dammit hold still...." He mumbled and i rolled my eyes trying not to laugh.

I grab one of his pens and a mischievous grin plastered my face.

"If you don't wake up I'll draw a penis on your forehead~"

His head shot up, and i giggled.

"That worked."

"donT dO thaT." He said groggy, and rubbed his eyes.

"GoD daMn whAt timE iS iT joHn? ItS to eaLry foR thiS shiT.." He mumbled.

"About 2:07 AM..." I replied Trailing off.

"Your lucky i love you."

"I know. Now lets go watch Netflix, i can't sleep anymore."

"Fine by me."

And that's how we ended up on the couch, 2 in the morning, watching Rudolph the red nose reindeer, while sipping hot chocolate and cuddling.

"I love you John."

"Love you too Alex, merry christmas." I smile and kiss him.
