I was walking along the sidewalk, hands in my pockets, and my almost gray hair flowing behind me. The breeze was warm, and the sun was shining.

I, on the other hand, was not shining at all.

Ever since my dear son died, I've been quiet. I don't write a much, talk as much, or anything. Something inside of me just broke, now i walk alot to cope with the pain. It helps ease my mind and thoughts, and i sometimes end up walking for hours without knowing it. I get so lost in my head, that i lose track of time and i end up all the way across town.

Eliza doesn't like it when i do that. She gets worried and then i feel bad. She understands why i walk, i just need to tell her when im coming back.

Sometimes i don't even know when im coming back.

I sigh.

I wish i could bring my son back...

John.

John was my best friend, and i even had a slight crush on him... But we never really expressed our feelings to each other verbally. Mostly in words when we wrote letters back and forth.

I wipe my eye, and my finger feels wet. I look at it confused, then i realize that im slightly crying.

I haven't done that in forever...

Not even during Phillips funeral. It wasn't like i didn't care, i just couldn't cry... I was...

Basically dead inside.

I lift my head up, and i notice that the clouds are blocking the sun.

I squint my eyes, and its coming closer...

I take out my glasses, and i put them on for a better view.

The person has curly hair...

And is glowing very brightly.

It waves at me, so i hesitantly wave back. They say something, but i can't hear what.

A breeze blows by and it whispers:

I miss you dad. I love you. Take care.

Also some guy named John says hi.

I recognize that voice from somewhere...

Phillip!

Tears form in my eyes, and i smile.

Today i saw a angel in the sky.

Turns out he was my son.
