Nico POV:

I walked next to my boyfriend, Jason Grace. It'd been a month since we started dating so, Jay Jay decided he'd take me to a mortal amusement park.

We walked through the gates, and scanned our tickets. Then Jason turned to me, "This is a present for you so where do you wanna go first?" I shrugged my shoulders, making him chuckle.

I looked at his Superman shirt and almost laughed out loud when I noticed a cape hanging behind him. He smiled at me, causing his eyes to twinkle and I looked into his sky blue eyes, and said, "I don't care where we go, as long as we're together."

His smile widened, "Okay" and he grabbed my hand and we headed off in a random direction.

We stopped at the bumper cars, looked at each other in unison and evil grins spread across both our faces. We knew exactly what we were gonna do first.

So we got in line for bumper cars and waited. After about 15 minutes, we were at the front of the line and we stepped in. Each sitting down a car of our choice.

The lights changed and we all started bumping into each other. I aimed for Jason as much as I could and he did the same to me. In the end the scores–yes, we kept track, no judging–were 67 to 59. Guess who won. Me, that's who.

I kept bragging and bragging as we kept on walking. Then we walked into Percy and Annabeth. And by "walked into" I mean we literally walked into them. I assumed they were on a date, but what were the odds we'd unexpectedly run into pur friends at this giant park? Probably not very high, but whatever. I guess the odds are just ever in our favor.

A grin covered Percy's face when he recognized us. "What up, Nico, ma dude? And Jace, bro." Annabeth rolled her eyes.

Then Percy's face lit up, "I HAVE AN IDEA!" Next thing I know, he grabbed my wrist and said "You two catch up, Nico and I will be talking ... on the ferris wheel."

Annabeth and Jason exchanged a glance and walked off, leaving me with Percy. "Do I get a say in this?" I asked.

"Nope." And he dragged me off to the ferris wheel.

Time skip to them actually on the ferris wheel cause yeah.

"So, what were you doing here with Jason?" He asked, raising his eyebrows as the ride set in motion. He knew Jason was bi and I was gay, but he didn't know we were dating yet.

I tried to ignore the question, looking away, only to realize this was a Ferris Wheel. Those go up. High up. We were gonna die.

I could feel the panic climbing up my throat and clawing at my chest as I started shaking.

What if Zeus didn't realize how sad he'd make Jason if he smited me? What if I died? What if Percy died?

I could feel the cart shaking, wobbling back and forth. I felt a pair of arms wrapping around me, attempting to calm me. But, the tight grip only made me feel confined and trapped and even more terrified.

Suddenly, I was being lifted up, out of the seat and gently set back on the ground. I looked over to see Jason, starting to carry Percy down.

Of course. My boyfriend could harness the winds.

I sat on the ground, attempting to catch my breath as the panic slowly started seeping away. I was still shaking slightly, but nearly as violently. And before long, Jason had his arms wrapped around me again, lifting me into his lap. I laid back into his chest, using his heartbeat to ground myself as I slowly faded away.

I woke up in Jason's arm's, in a car I'm pretty sure I'd never seen before. I sat up, groggily wiping the sleep out of my eyes and I realized we weren't alone. Annabeth was driving the car and Percy was sleeping in the passenger's seat, puffy red eyes and tear stained cheeks.

I snuggled closer into Jason as the memories came flooding back. I felt his grip around my body tighten and he bent down slightly, pressing a light kiss to my lips.

"J-jason?" I asked to get his attention.

"Yes, Nico?"

"D-do they know?" I whisper-asked, tilting my head toward the other couple.

He shook his head gently, "not yet, but they can soon if you want." He said slightly louder than needed and accidentally waking up Percy.

"What?" Percy asked, confused and tired.

"Oh." I started. "Well, I thought you guys might want to know that-that J-jace and I are-we're-well we're kinda sort of dating." I said awkwardly.

Both heads turned toward Nico, smiles lighting their faces.

"We know." They said in sync.
