The Dream

Here's your Drarry one shot, Lee, I had a lot of fun writing this and I think you'll all enjoy it, so have fun ;)

Harry climbed out from his bed to find he'd been dreaming again. He'd had a strange dream filled to the brim with magic and adventure and heroism. The dream also seemed to have been rather long compared to other dreams, but then he pulled out his phone and saw that was likely because he'd been sleeping for a whole week.

Now how on Earth did that happen? Harry asked himself, why didn't Mum and Dad wake me up?

Of course the dream hadn't been entirely based on fake things, his neighbors were called the Malfoys and he did live on number 4 Privet Lane, but of course his aunt Petunia, uncle Vernon, and cousin Dudley, lived down in Wales.

There had been a scary man who went by the name of Voldemort who'd attempted to murder Harry's family the other day, though he'd been sent to Azkaban, which of course was the worst of the prisons. And Harry's primary school headmaster had been named Albus Dumbledore and Harry did have a lightning shaped scar on his forehead. Of course his actual scar wasn't caused by magic, it was caused by a car crash he'd been in as a baby.

Harry decided he'd do something so could never forget his dream, he wrote it down. Now most people seemed to forget dreams easily and most of Harry's dreams would often slip his mind also, but this dream seemed stuck there, almost like it didn't want to be forgotten about.

So Harry went to his desk and he wrote and he wrote, of course he didn't think anyone would publish books written by a 17 year old, so he wrote it under the fake name of J.K. Rowling. It took almost his whole summer holiday to complete all 7 books and Harry was proud, so proud in fact that he went next door to the Malfoy's house to ask his best friend, Draco, what he thought.

Harry and Draco seemed unlikely friends as Draco was one of the most popular kids in school, with two minions as one might call them, that went by their last names, Crabbe and Goyle. While Harry was more of a quiet kid, who liked to sit in the back of the classroom with his only two friends from school Ron Weasly and Hermione Granger. Hermione was the school's genius and she loves to show it and loves following the rules, she was the reason Harry and Ron weren't expelled yet. Then there was Ron who got okay grades, loved eating and doing daring and dangerous things, though he refused to do anything if it involved spiders.

Now Ron and Hermione had started dating a week before summer holidays started and Harry had started feeling left out. All Harry wished for was to get his crush from secondary school to love him back. Now this may come as a surprise to you, but Harry was bisexual and had a huge crush on his next door neighbor. Of course Draco seemed completely oblivious to the fact that his best friend from the time they were children was crushing on him.

So Harry walked over to the house 5 feet to the west and knocked on the door. Draco pulled the door open with a huge grin on his face, before slapping Harry across the face. "Where the bloody hell have you been, mate? Almost the whole summer holidays wasted away without my best friend! I was starting to worry about you."

Harry grinned, "Sorry, mate, I've been working on something and I think you might like them."

Draco tilted his head at this, but opened the door wider, allowing for Harry to enter the house. Harry stepped in and naturally climbed the stairs to Draco's room, Draco following close behind. Harry locked the door behind the two of them and pulled the books out of his bag. These weren't just any books, however, these were the first ever published, and signed copies of The Harry Potter books and Harry was quite proud of them.

When Draco saw these books, his jaw dropped and he looked back and forth from the 7 books to his best friend in awe. "You didn't ... there's no way ... uh ... may I?" With that last one, he pointed to book one, The Philsopher's Stone, or as the American version was called, The Sorcer's Stone. Harry nodded and handed all seven books to his best friend.

"May I ask, how you wrote, edited, and published 7 books in one summer holiday?" Draco asked, his gaze moving from the book in his had to his best friend's face.

Harry chuckled, "It was simple really, but a magician never reveals his secrets." He said with a wink and Draco just shook his head sat down on the edge of his bed, ready to begin reading his best friend's new books.

Harry sat down next to Draco and, while the blond haired boy was reading, leaned in a little closer and pecked his cheek. This of course colored Draco's cheeks pink, and he looked up from the book, to face Harry. "What was that for?" He asked, though he was smiling and caressing his cheek like it was the most precious thing in the world to him.

Harry winked again and left the room, leaving Draco to a lot of questions, but nobody to give him answers.

After about a year, everyone had gotten news of the new fantasy books, filled with wonder and magic, and everybody was swarming the people who's names happen to have been mentioned in them, Harry being the most famous of them all.

One day, Harry had been hiding in a bathroom stall, to get away from the large number of fans waiting to question him, when Draco walked into the bathroom. "Harry, Harry are you in here?" He asked and Harry walked out of the stall and found Draco standing near the sinks. "You wanted to speak to me?"

Draco nodded, then bent down on one knee, "Harry James Potter, will you make me the happiest man in the world and be my boyfriend."

Harry couldn't believe it, Draco Malfoy, his crush since secondary school, was asking him, Harry Potter to be his boyfriend. Harry was stunned into silence, before leaning in close to his best friend and whispered a yes in Draco's ear, before moving his head a little more and kissing the boy's lips.

Are you proud of me, Lee? It took about an hour to write, but hey at least it isn't a week after you told me to write it, right?
