What an amazing Friday evening this is ! That to after watching a romantic movie and driving back home in my RE feels so good ! Wish I had a girlfriend so that I can go on a road trip with her like AYM (ignore the accident scenes)

I entered inside my house and saw my Appa sitting in the hall and watching old songs..I thought of escaping from his eyes and go to my room but the sound of my keychain indicated my presence 😒

"Vihaan ! When did you come?" He asked me in a caring note..

"Just now Appa.. you were watching TV that's why I didn't want to disturb you.." I replied calmly.

"Okay pa. Your Akka is coming here next week.. just make sure that you get her room ready soon" he told me and went inside the kitchen..

Just then I remembered about that..I have to clean her room as I have dumped all my script papers inside it. 

Let me tell you all about my family. We are just three people. Me, Appa and Akka. Amma passed away three years ago 😔
Last year Akka got married and she is now settled in US as her husband works there. Next week they both are coming here for their vacation.

As of now me and Appa are living in Chennai.. Appa got retired from his work few years ago. 

I want to introduce a most important person in my life.. next to my Amma , Latha aunty is the person who cares for me soo much ! Even though I'm just her daughter's friend, she treats me like her own son ! Likewise her husband Vishwa uncle also loves me soo much!!

I'm lucky to have them in my life because of my devilish best friend Smrithi 😒

Can someone be like an angel and a devil at the same time?! She is a perfect mixture of both !

Most irritating as well as lovable creature on earth 😅 I know her for more than fifteen years! We both are best friends from school..

We both fight everytime for everything.. and last week we had a fight and she made me very angry !

Yes I have completed engineering with a distinction but I am not interested to work in an MNC as a slave for others !

My passion is different! I want to become a successful director in the cinema industry. I want to direct a crime thriller movie and create a big impact in the minds of the viewers..

But no one is okay with my decision even my dad..

Last week I celebrated my 23rd birthday with Appa, smithu , aunty and uncle.

Appa was talking with her and sensed something is gonna happen to spoil my birthday mood ! My brain warned me to go away from there..

But before I could run , she caught me . .

Smrithi : Vihu.. I want to talk to you da..

Vihaan : Tell me Di..

I tried to sound calm

Smrithi : Why are you being like this?

Vihaan : like what?

Smrithi : Like this! You know what I'm talking about and still you're staying quiet..

Vihaan : I'm not getting you.. what are you talking about?

Smrithi : Okay fine ! Let me come to the point !

Vihaan : Hmmm

Smrithi : Why can't you join in a company and start working?

Vihaan : Smrithi..

Smrithi : Don't tell me the same stories again and again ! I know your words byheart!

Vihaan : Please try to understand me Di..

Smrithi : Why don't you understand uncle's words at least once? You're very very talented da..if I submit your resume to my team lead he'll surely make you as the project manager even without an interview! But you're very adamant da..

Vihaan :if Appa doesn't understand about my passion,I know because he's from a different generation and his worries are very common.. but why can't you Di ? Don't you know that direction is my everything? I want to become a director and not a slave to someone by digging a grave for my dreams !
Just go away from here !

I said angrily and she left from my house.. after some time aunty came to me and tried to console me.. thank God at least she understood my feelings 🙂

After that incident we both did not talk to eachother even over phone..

I entered my room and plugged my phone in charger. Immediately it  vibrated and displayed Latha aunty's number !

I attended the call with a smile .

"Vihu kanna! How are you da?"she asked.

"Hello aunty ! Now only you're calling me na.. you totally forgot about me " I complained with a chuckle

"How can I forget about you Vihu? You're my darling na? Why are you telling like this?""

"Haan.. I was just joking aunty ! " I admitted the truth as I sensed worry in her voice..

"Where are you da? Are you free now?"

"I just came home after watching a movie aunty ! I'm free only tell me "

"Actually smithu didn't return from office da.. it's raining here and she didn't take an umbrella with her.. if you don't mind can you pick her up from office da? She told me that she'll come in cab.  But I don't find it safe at this time .."

"Okay aunty I'll go to her office immediately and pick her up "

"Thank you da kanna ! By the way have you both started talking normally or not? "

"No aunty...we are still not okay.."

"Now I get why that girl was behaving weirdly for the past one week.. at least resolve your fight today ! "

"I'll try aunty ! Bye aunty I'll start now "

"Okay da ! Take care and drive safely"

She ended the call and I took out my rain coat and went to akka's room to take her old jerkin..

I just informed Appa , went to her office.. I parked my bike and started observing the place.. it was so appropriate for my script ! So I went to the other side to click some pictures..

When I turned back I saw Smrithi standing near my bike..I went to her and gave the jerkin..

She did not even thank me for it ! So much attitude 😏

I started the bike.. when I looked at her through mirror her facial expressions were so funny 🤣 I controlled my laughter and asked her what happened ! She told me that she's hungry..

I spotted a hotel on our way but I didn't stop my bike as I remembered aunty's words !

She asked me to resolve our fight today..I have never disobeyed her words.. the only way to pacify the devil traveling with me is by buying her favourite Pani Puri..

I did that and my plan worked 😉

After eating Pani puris we reached her house.. As we entered aunty gave me a towel to dry my hair but did not bother about Smrithi!

She deserves it for not obeying her mom's words..

"No one in this house cares for me" she yelled and went inside her room!

Me uncle and aunty started laughing 🤣

Aunty asked me to have dinner there itself and she had also packed dinner for Appa !

She is the sweetest person in the world ❤️

Smrithi went inside the kitchen to pacify aunty ! She's a drama queen 🙄

When she came back aunty was smiling along with Smrithi 😑

After eating I took my bag and I was about to leave..

Smrithi followed me and stood near my bike..

Smrithi : So what have you decided?

Vihaan : I'm staying strong with my passion ! To succeed in the Industry is not an easy task. And I'm ready to face all the hardships! Please don't try to change my mind.. it won't work Di!!

Smrithi : Ufff ! You're so stubborn.

Vihaan : As if you are not stubborn 😏

Smrithi : Leave it ! What are you gonna tell to uncle?

Vihaan : I'll make Appa understand my point! He'll surely support me. .

Smrithi : if uncle is happy I have no issues with it !

Vihaan : Hmm.. when are you getting married?

Smrithi : What??

Vihaan : Can't you hear it? When are you getting married??

Smrithi : what's the necessity for me to get married now? I'm just 23 da.

Vihaan : I'm also 23 Di ! If you want me to get settled at 23 , I can also ask you to get married na... Uncle and aunty are so worried about your marriage.. they guess that you'll run away with someone without their knowledge 🤪

Smrithi : You idiot! How dare you say those words! I know about my parents..they won't think like that .

She started attacking me with her hands

Vihaan : chill girly ! It's just for fun ! As you know about your parents I also know about my Appa ! He'll also accept my decision..

Smrithi : Hmmm.. uncle must be hungry.. go home soon!

Vihaan ; Btw you're looking horrible in your WhatsApp dp..

Smrithi : haha I purposely kept that pic just to irritate you Mr!

Vihaan :. Adi pavi... Next time even if you fall on my foot and ask for a picture I won't capture ! Mind it

I said and drove back home 😉
