"NI I say Ni!" Dream shouted.

Nightmare blinked.

"Though shall not pass, NIIIII!" Dream cried holding up a truly fake sword.

"..... Brother..... What have the villagers been teaching you?" Nightmare asked, very confused now.

The golden skeleton paused then grinned "Brother, let me show you the wonders of Monty Python and the Knights that say NI!"

The passive one just tilted his skull

"Here, a video crystal. You can borrow it. I'm off to play across the field," Dream said running off, after placing a glowing crystal in his twins hands.

Nightmare looked at it then shrugged, activating the crystal.

"NIIIIIIII!" The crystal screamed.

Nightmare jumped in surprise, dropping the crystal.

"Oh... shrub," The crystal said shattering.

"OH NO I BROKE IT!"

"Broke what brother?" Dream asked, walking from the opposite direction he'd left.

"I BROKE THE CRYSTAL I'M SO SORRY-"

"What crystal brother?" Dream asked confused.

Nightmare froze, like a statue.

Had he.... Just imagine that?!

"Brother? Are you okay... did something happen?" Dream asked worriedly.

"I......I...... Uh......"

Dream tilted his head.

"I think I need to go lay down......" Nightmare said quietly, heading to the Tree.

"Sleep well brother," Dream called after him.

Nightmare nodded shakily, kinda confused and scared.

Dream waited till Nightmare was asleep, then grinned.

He wondered how long it took Nightmare to realize he was actually asleep, and this was a dream. The real Dream wasn't even here.
