This is going to be developing Carter's story and character, a bit confusing tho.

"I hate my life," Nya mumbled into her pillow as Carter brought her, Skylor, and Seliel drinks. The other boys had gone on a mission, with Pixal monitoring them, while the girls were stuck at the Monastery. Carter had volunteered to stay with them, more than glad to not go on a mission. "Why don't you guys get it bad?"

"Could be genetics," Skylor said, lounging happily on the sofa. She had tried to help Carter, being the least affected by the time of the month, but they refused to let her.

"Periods suck," Seliel mumbled, coming out of the bathroom.

"Yeah, I remember them," Carter chuckled, "they sucked. Times I'm glad to be a shapeshifter!" The girls looked at him like they had just spoken another language.

"Nope!" Skylor said, grabbing him as they tried to walk away. "You can't just say that and not explain. Sit down."

"I- okay," Carter said, listening to her and sitting on the ground. "I was born a girl but didn't like it and decided to be a boy, there's nothing more to it."

"Oh my gosh! You're trans," Nya said, now he looked at her weirdly. "That's so cool."

"There's words for it?!" Carter said, the term trans being completely foreign to them.

"Yeah, you would be female to male trans," Seliel said, sitting on the chair and propping her legs up on the arm rest. "I go by she/her pronouns, and was born a girl, so I'm a cis female."

"And I go by she/they pronouns so I would be considered non-binary or a demigirl," Nya said.

"Same here," Skylor said.

"Wow, back in Equestria we don't have any of these words, creatures were just accepted for who they are, same gender couples are very common," Carter said, "but we're still working on species discrimination."

"That's amazing," Nya said, "way better than Ninjago. Well except for the species discrimination."

"Well every world has its problems," Carter said.

"Aren't you an all knowing being?" Skylor pointed out. "Why didn't you know that?"

"Okay, just cause I can doesn't mean I go around reading peoples minds," Carter said. "I have more respect than that."

"So what pronouns do you prefer," Seliel said, getting them back to their original topic.

"Uh, he/they I guess, who are people that go by they/them called," He asked.

"Non-binary or enby," Skylor said.

"Cool, I'll have to keep these in mind," Carter said, getting up. "Can I get you guys anything?"

"Ice cream," they all said, making him laugh then getting up to check if they had in the fridge.

"And hand me the remote," Nya demanded. Carter handed it to Skylor only for her to throw it in Nya's direction.
