Mumbo biked up to Grian's house and Grian blushed when he saw his boyfriend.

"You ready?" Mumbo asked and Grian nodded, strapping on his helmet.

Grian put his backpack in his basket and then hopped onto his bike.

"Where are we going?" He asked.

Mumbo smirked, "It's a surprise."

"Then how will I know where we're going?"

"Just bike next to me."

Mumbo started to pedal off and Grian followed.

"Come on." He said, smiling at his boyfriend, "Please?"

"Nope." Mumbo said.

"Is it another picnic?"

Mumbo shook his head, "We already did that." (I wrote a picnic Grumbo one-shot, if you want that you'll have to recommend Grumbo fluff another time :)

"I liked that one." Grian said, making Mumbo blushed.

"I'm glad you liked that one. This one'll be fun too though. Don't you like bike rides?"

Grian shrugged, "I prefer walks. Normally me and Scar walk Maui in the morning."

"But I know you like your morning bike rides." Grian said, smirking at Mumbo.

Mumbo rolled his eyes as they slowed down to a stop as they had to cross an intersection.

Mumbo pressed the crosswalk button and they waited.

Grian leaned over on his boyfriend's shoulder and asked, "Where are we going?"

Mumbo chuckled and kissed Grian's cheek, "It's a surprise, Birdie."

Grian gave Mumbo the stink eye, making him laugh again.

The light then turned and they biked across.

Eventually, the couple biked up to a local, family owned, ice cream parlor.

They parked their bikes at the bike rack and walked in.

There was a bit of a line so Mumbo put his hands in his pockets and then looked at his boyfriend.

He started laughing, making Grian go,

"What?"

Mumbo chuckled messing with Grian's hair,
"Your hair's all messed up!"

Grian blushed and shook his head.

"There; is that better?" Grian asked.

Mumbo nodded slowly.

"Sure." He said.

Grian rolled his eyes and Mumbo laughed.

"You look fine, Birdie." Mumbo said, wrapping his arm around the smaller male and kissing his forehead.

They then got their ice cream and walked outside.

Mumbo then heard Grian's sweet giggle.

"What?" Mumbo asked.

"Nothing." Grian said, giggling as he licked his chocolate ice cream.

"I- what's wrong?"

Grian giggled and wiped something off of Mumbo's face.

"You got a chocolate chip on your cheek." Grian said.

Mumbo blushed.

Grian then kissed Mumbo's lips.

"Thanks for today." He said, smiling at his boyfriend's red face.

"Anything, Birdie."
