Third Person POV

(Thoughts)

"Talking"

Multiple airships were shown flying around Beacon Academy as Ozpin and Glynda Goodwitch were shown on top of the clocktower.

Glynda: "Ironwood really likes bringing his work wherever he travels."

Ozpin: "Running an academy and a military makes him a busy man, but yes it is a bit of an eyesore."

Ozpins scroll was beeping which told him someone was approaching his office.

Ozpin: "Come in." He said as General Ironwood walked through the elevator.

Ironwood: "Ozpin."

Ozpin: "Hello General."

Ironwood: "No need to be so formal, it's been a while since we've seen each other in person."

Ozpin: "Indeed."

Ironwood: "Glynda! It has also been quite a while since we last met."

Glynda: "Oh James................I'll be outside."  She said as she walked away.

Ironwood: "She's still the same as ever huh?"

Ozpin: "Quite. Now what brings you here all the way from Atlas? Headmasters usually don't travel with their students to the Vytal Festival." He explained as he handed Ironwood a cup of tea.

Ironwood: "Well you know how much I love Vale this time of year, I hear your hosting this year as well so this could be a opportunity for us to catch up."

Ozpin: "I understand you want to spend quality time between friends, but the small fleet outside my window has me concerned."

Ironwood: "Well concern is what brought me here."

Ozpin: "I understand travel between kingdoms has been increasingly diffcult-"

Ironwood: "Oz you and I both know why I brought those men."

Ozpin: (Sighs and takes a sip of his coffee) "We are in a time of peace, shows of power like this is just going to give off the wrong impression."

Ironwood: "But if what Qrow said is true-"

Ozpin: "If what Qrow said is true then we will handle it tactfully, it's the Vytal Festival a time to celebrate unity and peace, so I suggest you not scare people by transporting hundreds of soldiers halfway across the continent."

Ironwood: "I'm just being cautious."

Ozpin: "As am I....which Is why we will continue to train the best huntsmen and huntresses we can."

Ironwood: "Believe me I am, also I had heard that you have a student in your academy that has unfathomable strength. Tell me..... can that boy be trusted at all? For all we know he could be a potential threat in the future if he's working with her Ozpin!"

Ozpin: "Y/N is just a student like all the others here and is only a mere boy. He may be one of the upcoming students that could show great promise in this academy, from what I've seen he has not shown any hostile tendencies. We can trust him James."

Ironwood: (Sighs) "Fine but I'll be keeping a close eye on him, It would be interesting to see the boys strength with my own eyes. But tell me this do you honestly believe that boy and your children could win a war?"

Ozpin: "I hope they never have to."

As Ironwood left Ozpin went back to his scroll. For the past month he had been trying to find any information about the person Y/N called Saitama. He even checked the history and the records of every school but there wasn't a hint of his existence anywhere, however that doesn't mean he won't stop trying.

If he could locate him he could reunite him with Y/N and perhaps have another ally. 

Library

In the library Team RWBY was playing remnant the game at a table. They would've offered Y/N to play with them but it was only a 4 player game, Y/N didn't mind it so he just decided to just sit by team JNPR and read some comics with Jaune.

Ruby: "Hmm....alright. Yang Xiao long prepare your kingdom for battle!"

Yang: "Bring it on!"

Ruby: "I deploy the Atlesian Air Fleet!"

Yang: (Le Gasp)

Ruby: "Look like I get to fly right over your walls directly!" *Makes airplane noises*

Yang: "You fiend!"

Ruby: "And since Atlas is part of Mantle, my repair time only lasts one turn."

Yang: (Chuckles) "Pretty sneaky sis, but you just activated my trap card!"

Ruby: "Whaaaaaaaa!"

Yang: "Trap trick!"

Ruby: "What? Skill drain is so much better!"

(Reboot)

Yang: (Slams card down on the table) "Giant Nevermore!"

Yang: "If I roll a seven or higher Fatal Feathers will slice your fleet in two."

Ruby: "But, if you roll a six or lower, the Nevermore will turn on your own forces."

Yang: "That's a chance I'm willing to take."

Ruby: (In the distance) "Nooooooooooo! My Fearless soldiers!"

Ren: (Sigh) "So noisy."

Jaune: "Hey Y/N check this out, there's this guy that has the ability to read minds."

Y/N: (Turns to Jaune) "Mind reading? (Goes back to reading his comic) huh......I kind of feel bad for the guy."

Jaune: "Why? It seems like a pretty useful superpower."

Y/N: "Kind of but not really, because you'll have to deal with hearing other peoples thoughts that you can't block out, and you'll also hear things that you don't want to hear."

Jaune: (Nervously shivers) "Well I guess that makes sense, (Goes back to reading the comic) but this guy seems like he's having fun with this pow- and he just heard his mom say she wished she had an abortion."

Pyrrha: (Takes Jaune's comic and passes a review book to him) "That's enough slacking off Jaune.

Jaune: "Come on Pyrrha, we've been studying for the past 30 minutes now. Can't we just take a break?"

Pyrrha: "Your grades are slipping Jaune, so you need to study if you wanna pass Professor Ports exam in the next few days."

Jaune: "I know but what about Y/N? Shouldn't he be studying too?" He asked as he pointed a accusing finger at Y/N. 

Pyrrha: "Y/N's grades are actually decent, so he doesn't need to study as much."

Jaune: "Really? But I've never seen him study at all for anything!"

Pyrrha: "Come to think of it, I always see Y/N sit by Weiss whenever we have an exam."

Y/N: (Sweats nervously) "I-I'm just really good at taking tests that's all! There's no hidden agenda here." He said as he totally didn't purposely sit by Weiss and copied some of her answers when she wasn't looking.

Their conversation was interrupted as they turn to see Ruby screaming again as Y/N let a sigh of relief.

Yang: "Well it's your turn Weiss."

Weiss: "I have...absolutely no idea what's going on."

Yang: "Look it's easy....you're playing as Vacuo which means all Vacuo-based cards come as a bonus!"

Weiss: "That sounds dumb."

Yang: (Starts to shuffle Weiss's cards) "See.....you've got Sandstorm, Desert scavenge, Oh! Oh! Resourceful Raider!" See now you can take Ruby's discarded air fleet-"

Ruby: (Sobs) "Nooooooooo......."

Yang: "And put it in your hand!"

Weiss: "Okay?"

Yang: "And since Vacuo warriors have an endurance boost against natural hazards, you could use sandstorm to disable my ground forces and simultaneously infiltrate my kingdom! (Points at Weiss and ominous slides away to her seat.) Just know that I will not forget this declaration of war."

Weiss: "And that means......"

Ruby: (Sobbing) "You're just three moves away from conquering Remnant!"  

Weiss processed what she just heard for a few seconds and then stood up from her seat.

Weiss: (Evil laugh) "Yes! Fear the almighty power of my forces! Cower as they pillage your homes and weep as they take your children from your very arms-"

Yang: "Trap card."

Weiss: "Huh?"

Yang: "Sorry but your armies have been destroyed."

Weiss: "Y-You helped me on purpose just to cheat didn't you!?"

Yang: (Smiles and looks away) "Nooooooo?......"

Weiss: (Sits back down on her chair and sobs) "I hate his game of emotions we play!"

Ruby: (Jumps into Weiss's arms) "Stay strong, Weiss. We'll make it through this together."

Weiss: (Hugs Ruby) "Shut up! Don't touch me!"

Yang: "Alright Blake you're up."

Blake: "Huh? Umm......sorry what am I doing?"

Yang: "You're playing as Vale, trying to conquer the kingdoms of Remnant!"

Jaune: "Hey can I play?"

Ruby: "Sorry Jaune we've already got four people."

Weiss: "Besides this game requires a certain level of tactical cunning that I seriously doubt you possess."

Y/N: (Walks next to Jaune) "But didn't you not know how to play earlier?"

Weiss: "O-Of course I did! I was just planning my next move is all."

Yang: "You literally just attacked your own navel fleet two turns ago."

Weiss: "Hmph!"

Jaune: "Bring it on Ice Queen! I'll have you know that I've been told I'm a natural born leader!"

Weiss: "By who? Your mother?"

Jaune: "And Y/N!"

Weiss turns to Y/N with a raised brow.

Y/N: (Shrugs) "Yeah I guess....."

Jaune: "And Pyrrha!"

Pyrrha: (Waves) "Hello again!"

Jaune: "Come on! Let me play your hand for a turn."

Weiss: "I'm not trusting you with the good citizens of Vacuo!"

Jaune: "Why not?! You've trusted me with way more important stuff before! I mean you told us that Blake is secretly a fau-"

Pyrrha: (Dashes over to Jaune and covers his mouth) "A fun loving person who we all admire and respect!"

They all looked at Blake who just stared at them with an annoyed face.

Jaune: "R-Right...that. (Bows) Ladies enjoy your battle."

Sun: "Sup losers!" He said walking up to the group with Neptune.

Ruby: "Hey Sun."

Sun: "Ruby, Yang, Blake, Ice Queen..."

Weiss: "Why does everyone keep calling me that!?"

Sun: "And Y/N! Good to see you again man!" He said walking up to Y/N for a fist bump.

Y/N: (Smiles and reciprocates the fist bump) "Hey how's it been?"

Sun: "I've been good bro. I like to introduce you all to my old friend."

Neptune: "Uh....aren't libraries for reading?"

Ren: "Thank you!"

Nora: (Snorts) "Pancakes......"

Sun: "Shut up don't be a nerd."

Neptune: "Intellectual. Ok. Thank you."

Neptune: "Anyway my name's Neptune, (Walks over to Y/N) Sun told me a lot about you, and I have to say your pretty cool man."

He said as he flashed one of his signature smiles at Y/N.

Y/N: (Thoughts) Are teeth supposed to be that shiny?

Weiss: "So Neptune where are you from?"

Neptune: (Walks over to Weiss) "Haven......I don't believe I've caught your name Snow Angel."

Weiss: "I-I'm Weiss."

Jaune: (Whispers) "Are you kidding me?! I've been trying to get her attention all the time, but he just uses the nickname I came up with and has her flustered that easily?"

Pyrrha looked at Jaune and saw him being a little annoyed when watching Neptune and Weiss. Pyrrha then closed her eyes and sighed in disappointment, she's been giving small hints to Jaune and wanted him to notice her for once.

Nora who was looking at her just shook her head in pity. 

Nora: (Thoughts) Jaune Jaune's far too dense to notice that Pyrrha likes him, and the poor girl is too shy to make a move. She still has a chance to get with him at the dance, but if that doesn't work out then maybe she should ask someone else.

She said as she started to stare at Y/N.       

Sun: "I never took you as the board game playing type."

Blake: "Right...well I think I'm done playing actually. I'll see you guys later." Blake then got up and walked out of the library.

Nora: "Women......"

Everyone just stares at Nora.

Y/N: "I'm actually gonna head out too, I'll see you guys later."

(Flashback)

Ozpin: "Well this has certainly been an eventual evening, I'm sure after a night of thwarting and attempted robbery you just want to go home and take a nap, but I was hoping we could have a chance to talk."

Blake: "Of course."

Ozpin: "Wonderful! As you know in order to enroll at my academy students must first pass a rigorous entrance exam. Most applicants spend years training at one of the many combat schools around the world, However you and Mr. Y/N are one of the few who did not, both of you passed the exam with flying colors."

Blake: "I don't know about Y/N but I was raised outside of the kingdoms, if you can't fight you can't survive."

Ozpin: "Well you have most certainly survived Blake. I admire your drive, and I am proud to run a school that accepts individuals from all walks of life. Rich.....Poor.....Human......(Takes a sip of coffee) Faunus."

Blake: (Glares at Ozpin)

Ozpin: "Why do you wear that bow Blake? Why hide who you are?"

Blake: "You may be willing to accept the Faunus professor Ozpin, but your species is not."

Ozpin: "True....but we are continuing to take strides to lessen the divide."

Blake: "With all due respect, you need to start taking some larger strides. Until then, I'd rather avoid any unnecessary attention. I want people to see me for who I am not what I am...."

Ozpin: "And what are you?"

Blake: "I-I don't understand what your asking?"

Ozpin: "How did you know that the White Fang would be at the shipyard tonight?"

Blake: "I didn't I just happened to be at the right place at the right time."

Ozpin: "You wouldn't have been the first, but what happened tonight was not an isolated incident. I may be your headmaster but I am also a huntsman...and it is my sworn duty to protect this world from the forces that conspire against it. Blake........are you sure there's nothing else you want to tell me?"

Blake: "I'm sure..."

Ozpin: "Very well......thank you for your time Ms. Belladonna. (Stands up) If you ever need to talk to me.......please don't hesitate to ask."

(Flashback End)

Blake was resting on her bed when she heard the door open and close as she saw Y/N.

Blake: "Y/N?"

Y/N: "Hey Blake." Y/N walks over to Blake's bookshelf to grab one of Ruby's comics and sat on Weiss's bed.

Y/N: "You walked out earlier today looking a little let down are you okay?"

Blake: "I-I'm fine, no need to worry."

Y/N: (Raises a brow) "Are you sure? I may not know much about what your going through, but it's sometimes good for someone to listen to you and talk about your problems once in a while."

Blake: "..........."

Y/N: "It's fine if you don't want to say anything, I don't want to force you to do something you don't want to, I'm just giving some advice."

Blake: "Well-"

The door then opens again as the rest of Team RWBY walked in the room.

Yang: "Ugh! We should have never let him play!"

Ruby: "You're just mad cause the new guy beat you. You see if you just attacked when I told you none of this would have happened."

Weiss: (Walks towards Y/N and Blake) "What were you two talking about?"

Y/N glances at Blake and then turns back to Weiss.

Y/N: "Nothing."

Weiss: (Points to Blake) "And you........you've been a lot more distant, antisocial, and moody recently."

Blake: "......."

Yang: "Uh...have you met Blake?"

Weiss: "I get it, it's kind of your 'thing'. But you've been doing it a lot more than usual, which quite frankly is unacceptable. You made a promise to me, to all of us, that you would let us know if somethings wrong."

Weiss: "So Blake Belladonna! What! Is! Wrong!" Weiss asked as she jumped and balanced on a chair in a very irregular way.

Y/N: "How are you doing that?"

Weiss then puts the chair back and stood in front of Blake. Blake was considering leaving at the moment, but then she thought about what Y/N said earlier about telling someone your problems.

Blake: "I just....I don't understand how everyone can be so calm."

Y/N: "She literally defied the laws of Gravity ear-"

Ruby: "You're still thinking about Torchwick."

Y/N: "Ok then I guess we're just gonna ignore it."

Blake: "Torchwick, the White Fang, all of it! Something big is happening and no one is doing anything about it!"

Yang: "Ozpin told us not to worry. Between the police and the huntsman I'm sure they can handle it."

Blake: "Well I'm not! They don't know the White Fang like I do."

Y/N: "I know these guys sound bad and all, but don't you think you should rest a little before you go out and face them, your really looking under the weather at the moment."

Blake: "There's no time for that! The White Fang could be out there doing something right now, and I have a chance to stop it."

Weiss: "Okay.....between blowing up night clubs, stopping thieves, and fighting for freedom, I'm sure the three of you think you're all ready to go out and apprehend these ne'er- do-wells..."

Ruby/Y/N: "Ne're what?"

Weiss: "But let me once again be the voice of reason....we're students. We're not ready to handle this situation."

Ruby: "Well yeah, but.....we also got Y/N." 

Weiss: "Y/N is still on a one man team and is only our temporary teammate for who knows how long. So the three of us are still not ready for this!"

Blake: "And we may never be ready! Our enemies aren't just gonna sit around and wait for graduation day! They're out there planning there next move and none of us know what it is, but it's coming! Whether we're ready or not."

Ruby: "Okay........All in favor of becoming the youngest huntresses to single-handedly bring down a corrupt organization conspiring against the kingdom of Vale.......say Aye!"

Yang: (Pumps her fist) "Yes! (Points at Blake) I love it when you're feisty!"

Weiss: "Well, I suppose it could be fun."

Ruby: "None of you said 'Aye'

Ruby: (Turns to Y/N) "Y/N are you joining us?" She asked.

Y/N: (Turns to the next page of the comic) "Ok."

Blake: "Alright then....we're in this together."

Ruby: "Let's hatch a plan!"

Yang: "Yeah!"

Ruby: (Gasps) "I left my board game in the library!"

Weiss: (Shakes her head) "We're doomed."

Ruby: (Runs over to Y/N and grabs his hand) "Y/N come with me!"

Y/N: "Wha-"

Ruby then dashes out of the room with Y/N.

Ruby: "We'll be right back!"

Ruby then turns forward and collides into someone as she fell on the floor.

Y/N: "Are you ok?" He asked as he offered Ruby a hand and helped her off the floor.

Ruby: "I'm fine......(Turns back) Sorry about that."

Emerald: "It's fine, just watch were you're going next time."

Ruby: "Right sorry.....I'm Ruby and this is Y/N."

Emerald: (Turns to Y/N as she raised her eyes in surprise) "Oh you're that guy who helped me the other day, what a coincidence I didn't know you were a Beacon student."

Y/N looks at Emerald with slight confusion and then comes to realization.

Y/N: "Oh yeah I know you, but I didn't get your name before."

Emerald: "It's Emerald and this is Mercury, It's good to see you again."

Mercury: "Sup."

Ruby: "Oh......Are you guys new here?"

Cinder: "We're visiting from Haven actually." She said walking up to both of them.

Ruby just stared at Cinder and for some reason she kind of felt a bad vibe coming from her for a moment but quickly shook it off. Cinder looked at the redhead for a little bit and then turned her attention towards Y/N, she heard that there was a person on Beacon who got in on special recommendations, from the outside he didn't seem that threatening, but another part of her feels like he's a lot more than meets the eye.

Cinder: "My name is Cinder, it's nice to meet both of you."

Ruby: "Ooooooh! You guys are here for the festival, but exchange students have their own dormitory."

Mercury: "I guess we just got turned around."

Ruby: "Don't worry, it happens all the time! Uh, your building is just east of here."

Cinder: "Thanks.....Maybe we'll see you around. (Turns to Y/N) And I hope I'll see you around more as well Y/N."

Y/N: "Uh.....sure."

She smiled at him before walking away with her team. 

Ruby: "Oh and welcome to Beacon!"

Y/N: "Ruby why did you need me to come with you to get your board game? Can't you have done that yourself?"

Ruby's face turns a little red as she looked to the side.

Ruby: "Well.... I-I just like spending time with you."

Y/N: (Tilts his head) "Oh is that all? I'm fine with that then, let's go get your board game."

Ruby: (Smiles brightly) "Yeah come on!" She grabs his hand and started running to the library.

Meanwhile with Cinder and Co. 

Cinder: "So was that him?"

Emerald: "Yes it was, but it never crossed my mind that he was a student in Beacon."

Mercury: "That's the guy? He didn't seem like much to me."

Emerald: (Rolls her eyes) "You think a lot of people aren't much in your eyes."

Mercury just smiled and shrugged not caring at all about what she said.

Cinder: "He seemed rather interesting, add him to the list we'll be keeping tabs on him for now." She said as Emerald nodded.

Cinder's right eye glowed while she had a sinister smirk on her face.
