('Thoughts')

"Talking"

It was a clear day outside as the suns rays shined bright in the sky as several bullheads were flying in the sky. In those bullheads resided multiple huntsmen and huntresses in training that who were all excited that they were going to Beacon, as some of them talked to one another how awesome it is to go to Beacon, while others were alone and kept to themselves like Y/N who was currently picking his ear as he looked out the window of the Bullhead.

('That was a close one, I almost didn't make it on time and was about to miss my flight to the school.') Y/N thought as he sighed in relief.

It was currently 7:00 in the morning and in one of the hotel rooms resided Y/N who was currently sleeping at the moment as the alarm on one of the clocks rung loud in the room. Y/N then woke up and smashed the clock with his fist making a small hole in the floor.

Y/N then yawned and scratched his back as he then looked down and saw the small hole in the floor.

Y/N then sweat-dropped as he looked at the damage he caused, "I am not paying for that." Y/N said as he then got up and went to the bathroom to take a shower and brush his teeth.

After Y/N got out of the bathroom he then dried himself off and went into one of the closets to put on his hero suit. Y/N then gathered his belongings and went into one of the stores to get himself some food, he then used the card he was given to buy himself some noodles that looked similar to the udon noodles he had back at home as he took a seat and started eating.

('Hmmm.....It's good but it's not better then the udon noodles that Sensei and I eat.') Y/N thought as he compared the food.

After about 10 minutes Y/N was done eating and left the store as he walked around Vale exploring the city.

"Wait a minute isn't there some place I'm supposed to be at today? What was it again?" Y/N said as he thought hard about it.

After a couple of minutes Y/N stopped walking as his usual poker face then changed to a look of shock.

"SHITTTTTTTTTT!!!!!" Y/N yelled, as he then ran at a tremendous speed leaving nothing but strong wind pressure in his path.

Y/N was running looking left and right for the direction of where the bullhead was to pick the students up and take them to Beacon.

"Come on, Come on, Where the hell is it?!" Y/N yelled, as he ran in the direction Ozpin told him to catch the bullhead and get to his school.

Y/N then looked forward and in a far distance he saw all the Bullheads gathering the students as the final students where getting on the ships as the bullheads were almost ready to take off.

Y/N knew at this rate he wasn't gonna make it on time, he then had a serious expression on his face as he about to do a move.

"KILLER MOVE: SERIOUS SERIES SERIOUS LEAP" Y/N said as he slightly crouched as multiple cracks formed on the ground as he jumped extremely high into the air and launched himself far into the distance.

As the final students were getting on the Bullhead and it was ready to take off a huge rumble crashed a few feet away from the ship forming a big crater making some students fall to the floor as they turned around and thought it was an enemy.

A person wearing a yellow jumpsuit wearing red gloves and boots along with a white cape and black belt emerged Y/N who come out of the crater.

"I made it." Y/N said with a small smile on his face as he was completely unaware of the looks he was getting by some of the students who were looked wide-eyed at him and wondered what in the hell just happened.

(Present Time)

As Y/N was thinking about the events that happened earlier he was brought out of his thoughts as he heard some yelling, and looked at what was happening further down the bullhead.

"Oh, I can't believe my baby sister is going to Beacon with me! This is the best day ever!" Yang said happily as she hugged her sister tightly.

"Please stop." Ruby said as she was getting crushed by the strength of her hug.

('Oh hey it's that girl from yesterday, what was her name again? was it Ruby?') Y/N thought.

"But I'm so proud of you!" Yang said as she lightly hopped in excitement.

"Really sis it was nothing," Ruby said not liking all the praise she was being given.

"What do you mean? it was incredible! Everyone at Beacon is going to think you're the bee's knees!" Yang said.

"I don't wanna be the 'bee's knees', okay? I don't wanna be any kind of knees! I just wanna be a normal girl with normal knees." Ruby said.

Yang raised a brow, "What's with you? Aren't you excited?" Yang asked.

"Of course I'm excited I just... I got moved ahead two years, I don't want people to think I'm special or anything." Ruby explained as she looked down at the floor.

Yang then walked up and wrapped a hand around her shoulder, "But you are special."

As this was happening a news reporter voice was heard throughout the Bullhead on a T.V, "The robbery led by nefarious criminal Roman Torchwick, who continues to evade authorities."

Y/N then raised a brow as he looked at the criminal who was shown on the screen, ('That guy looks familiar, have I seen him before?') Y/N thought as he tried to think about who that was.

('Nope don't know who he is.') Y/N thought with a blank look on his face as he continued to look at the T.V.

"If you have any information about his whereabouts, please contact the Vale police department, back to you lisa." The reporter said as it switched to another reporter.

"Thank you, Cyril. In other news, this Saturday's Faunus Civil Right's protest turned dark when the members of the White Fang disrupted the ceremony. The once peaceful organization has now disrupted-" The reporter was then cut off as it switched to Glynda Goodwitch.

"Hello, and welcome to Beacon!" Glynda announced.

"Who's that?" Yang asked, as her question was answered immediately after.

"My name is Glynda Goodwitch." Glynda said.

"Oh." Yang said.

"You are among a privileged few who have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious academy. Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future huntsmen and huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now, it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world." Glynda finished as the hologram disappeared.

After Glynda had given her speech Y/N then heard a gasp as he looked over to see Ruby and the Blond haired girl looking out the window, he followed their gaze and saw a beautiful view of the city they were currently in.

"Look you can see Signal from up here!" Ruby said as she looked out the window.

"I guess home isn't too far after all." Ruby continued.

Yang then put a hand on her sister's shoulder, "Beacon's our home now." Yang said as the both of them then heard a noise coming from the right of them as they saw a Blond haired boy who moaned in pain as he covered his mouth and ran past them about to vomit.

"Well.... I guess the view isn't for everyone." Yang said.

"It was a nice moment while it lasted. I wonder who we're gonna meet! I just hope they're better than 'Vomit Boy'" Ruby said.

"Oh, Yang, gross you have puke on your shoe!" Ruby exclaimed.

"Gross, Gross, Gross, Gross, Gross, Gross," Yang said as she tried to shake it off.

"Get Away! Get Away from me! Get Away from me! Get Away from me!" Ruby yelled.

Soon after the Bullheads made it to their destination as they started to land and people started to make their way out, A blond haired boy who's name was Jaune Arc ran out of the ship and made his way to a trash can as he begin to vomit into it. Ruby and Yang were currently making their way out of the ship as they stopped to admire the scenery of the school. Y/N made his way out of the ship as well but stopped and turned as he looked at a guy who's vomiting in a trash can.

"Uh dude? You alright?" Y/N asked with a plain look.

Jaune then wiped his mouth off as he finished vomiting and turned to look at Y/N.

"Uh yeah I will be, Motion Sickness is just a problem I have whenever I get on an airship, thanks for asking though." Jaune said as he smiled at Y/N.

"Uh sure, see ya." Y/N said as he started to walked away.

"Wait!" Jaune called out to Y/N, as Y/N stopped and turned back and looked at him blankly wondering what else he wanted.

"My name is Jaune Arc, short, sweet rolls of the tongue ladies love it. " Jaune said introducing himself.

"Really?" Y/N asked.

"Well.....Hopefully soon they will, that's what my mom always told me." Jaune said as he laughed a little in embarrassment.

"Anyway, what's your name?" Jaune asked.

"My name is Y/N." Y/N said as he turned back and continued to walk away with his white cape flowing in the wind.

"Oh, I'll see you later then I guess." Jaune said as he watched Y/N walk away and sighed shortly after.

"Wowwwwwwww." Ruby and Yang said as they look at the school currently in front of them.

"The view from Vale got nothing on this!" Yang said as she folded her arms.

"Ooh! Ooh! Sis! That kid has a collapsible staff! *Gasps* And she's got a fire sword! Ow, ow..." Ruby said in excitement as she gawked at all the weapons around her as Yang grabbed her by the back of her cape and pulled her back.

"Easy there, little sister. They're just weapons." Yang said.

"Just weapons? They're an extension of ourselves! They're a part of us! They're so cool!" Ruby exclaimed.

"Well why can't you swoon over your own weapon? Aren't you happy with it?" Yang asked, as Ruby grabbed her weapon from behind her back as it unfolded and hugged it.

"Of course I'm happy with Cresent Rose! I just really like seeing new ones. It's like meeting new people but better." Ruby explained.

Yang then pulled Ruby's hood down, "Ruby come on why don't you try and make some friends of your own?" Yang asked.

"Wait a minute, didn't you say you made friends with some guy yesterday that helped you out with the robbery, and he got accepted into Beacon as well? Where is he?" Yang asked.

Ruby then smiled a little as she remembered Y/N from yesterday, "His name is Y/N he told me yesterday that he was gonna be here but I have no idea where he is, and why would I need friends if I have you and Y/N." Ruby said.

"Well....Actually, my friends are here. Gotta go catch up, Kay c'ya bye!" Yang said as she ran off with the crowd.

"Wait! Are we supposed to go to our dorms? Where are our dorms? Do we have dorms? I don't know what I'm doing." Ruby said with swirls in her eyes as she spun around and fell onto the ground knocking over a bunch of briefcases.

"What are you doing?!" Weiss said as she looked down at the girl with a cold look on her face.

"Sorry!" Ruby said.

"Sorry?! Do you have any idea of the damage you could've caused?" Weiss asked.

"Uhh..." Ruby mumbled as she grabbed one of the briefcases off the floor only to be snatched away by Weiss.

"Gimme that! This is Dust mined and purified from the Schnee Quarry." Weiss explained as she opened the briefcase as Ruby was still dazed from the fall.

"What are you, brain dead? This is Dust, Fire, Water, Lighting, Energy!" Weiss said, as she pulled out a vial of red dust and she shook it as it sprinkled into the air.

Ruby was then getting off the floor as the Dust in the air was flowing in her nose as she began to sneeze.

"Are you even listening to me? Is any of this sinking in? What do you have to say for yourself?" Weiss asked.

"Uhhhhhaaaaaahhhh-Chooooo!" Ruby sneezed which resulted in a huge explosion as sparkles were in the air right onto Weiss, as one of the Dust vials she had in her hand fell to the floor right in front of a Black haired girl with a bow on her head as she picked it up while reading a book.

('Huh? What was that?') Y/N said, as he was currently making his way towards the school but stopped when he had heard the loud explosion as he turned around and saw the girl he met from yesterday arguing with a girl wearing a all white attire.

Looking at the scene Y/N then made his way towards Ruby to help her out.

"Unbelievable! This is exactly the kind of thing I was talking about!" Weiss yelled, covered in dust.

"I'm really, really, sorry!" Ruby said.

"Uhhh, you complete dolt!" Weiss insulted.

"What are you even doing here? Aren't you a little Young to be attending Beacon?" Weiss asked.

"Well... I...." Ruby tried to explain but was cut off again by Weiss.

"This isn't your ordinary combat school, we're here to fight monsters so watch where you're going!" Weiss said as she folded her arms.

"Hey lay off her will you?" A voice interrupted, as both girls turned around to see a guy with E/C and H/C wearing a yellow jumpsuit walking towards the both of them.

Ruby went wide-eyed when she saw who it was, "Y/N! Is that you?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah it's me, you're the girl I met yesterday, you're called Ruby right?" Y/N said plainly as he put his hand out to the girl to pull her off the floor, as Ruby nodded and grabbed his hand and was now standing up.

"Y/N where were you? I didn't see you on the bullhead or outside the school, so I didn't think you come." Ruby said as she pouted a little at Y/N.

Y/N sighed as he scratched his head, "Sorry about that, I was..... running a little late and almost missed my flight to the school, but I'm here now so don't worry about it." Y/N said as he patted the girls head a little which made Ruby smile at the gesture.

Weiss was looking at the scene in shock as the two of them were talking as they completely forgot she was still here, how dare they ignore her like that! Didn't they know who she was?

"Excuse me! Do you have any idea who I am? I was in the middle of scolding this dolt for her foolishness." Weiss said to Y/N who turned to look at the girl.

"Uhhh......who are you?" Y/N asked as he looked at the girl blankly.

Weiss then got angry at the idiocy of this guy, "Hello! Weiss Schnee! Does the name ring any bells to you!" Weiss asked.

Y/N continued to stare at Weiss blankly, "Sorry but I have no idea who you are, and quite frankly I don't want to know." Y/N said as he turned back to Ruby.

Weiss's anger then continued to rise, "What! You insufferable brat! How dare you talk to me like that!" Weiss said.

Ruby frowned as Weiss insulted Y/N, "Hey Princess! What's your deal?" Ruby asked, as she got interrupted by another voice.

"It's heiress, actually." Blake said walking up to them as the three turned to look at her.

"Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company. One of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world." Blake explained as Weiss had a smug look on her face.

"Finally, some recognition!" Weiss said, but Blake wasn't finished.

"The same company that's infamous for it's controversial labor forces, and questionable business partners." Blake finished, as Weiss started to stutter.

"What- How dare---The nerve of- Ugh!" Weiss said as she took the vial of Dust from out of Blake's hand and started to walk off.

"I promise I'll make this up to you!" Ruby yelled to Weiss.

"I guess I'm not the only one having a rough first day, So what about about you Y/N- Huh?" Ruby said as she looked and saw Blake walking away and Y/N nowhere to be found.

Ruby then sighed as she dropped to the floor, "Welcome to Beacon." Ruby said.

A shadow then loomed over her as a voice called out to her as she opened her eyes and turned to see the Blond haired boy from earlier.

"Hey...I'm Jaune." Jaune introduced as he put out his hand to help her up.

"Ruby, Hey aren't you the guy who threw up on the ship?" Ruby asked.

Moments later Jaune and Ruby were walking as they starting talking to one another.

"All I'm saying is that motion sickness is a much more common problem then people let on!" Jaune explained.

"I'm sorry but Vomit Boy was the first thing that came to mind." Ruby said.

"Oh yeah, what if I called you crater face?" Jaune retorted.

"Hey! That explosion was an accident." Ruby exclaimed.

"Well the names Jaune Arc, short, sweet, rolls of the tongue, ladies love it!" Jaune introduced.

"Do they?" Ruby said with a raised brow.

"T-They will. Well, I hope they will.....I mean, my mom always says that...Nevermind." Jaune said as he stopped himself from further embarrassment.

Ruby chuckled a little as she pulled her weapon from behind her back, "So I got this thing." Ruby said as her Scythe slammed to the ground.

"Whoa! Is that a Scythe?" Jaune asked.

"It's also a customizable high-impact sniper rifle!" Ruby explained.

"A-Wha...?" Jaune asked.

Ruby cocks her gun as she smiled, "It's also a gun." Ruby said.

"Oh. That's cool!" Jaune said.

"So what do you got?" Ruby asked.

"Oh! I, uh...I have this sword!" Jaune said as he pulled it out from the sheath.

"Oooooh!" Ruby said in awe at the weapon.

"Also I've got a shield too!" Jaune added as he raised it up and it expanded showing his family symbol.

"So what do they do?" Ruby asked as she slightly touched the shield which made Jaune lose his grip on it as he then finally grabbed it, and shrinked it and placed it back on his belt.

"The shield gets smaller, so when I get tired of carrying it, I can just....put it away." Jaune explained.

"But wouldn't it weigh the same?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah, it does..." Jaune said as he sighed.

Ruby smiled, "Well, I'm kind of a dork when it comes to weapons, sooo...I guess I did go a little overboard designing it." Ruby said.

"Wait, you made that?!" Jaune asked looking surprised.

"Of course! All students at Signal forge their own weapons! Didn't you make yours?" Ruby asked.

"It's a hand-me-down, My great-great Grandfather used it to fight in the war." Jaune explained as he looked down at the floor.

Ruby laughs, "Sounds more like a family heirloom to me! Well, I like it! Not many people have an appreciation for the classics these days." Ruby said.

"Yeah the classics..." Jaune said as he put away his sword.

"So why did you help me out back there?" Ruby asked as both of them continued to walk.

"Eh, why not? My mom always says, 'Strangers are just friends you haven't met yet'." Jaune said.

Ruby then starts looking around, "Hey where are we going?" Ruby asked.

"Oh, I don't know! I was following you. You think there might be a directory?" Jaune asked.

After some time had passed, Ruby and Jaune had managed to find the auditorium where all the first years were currently located.

"Ruby! I saved you a spot!" Yang called out as she waved at her.

"Oh! Hey, I gotta go! I'll see you at the ceremony!" Ruby said as she waved at Jaune and left.

"Hey, wait! great where am I supposed to find another nice, quirky girl to talk to?" Jaune asked as he walked away but didn't notice another girl staring at him.

"How's your first day going little sister?" Yang asked to Ruby who was crossing her arms and was currently frowning at the moment.

"You mean since you ditched me and I exploded?!" Ruby said.

"Yikes. Meltdown already?" Yang asked.

"No, I literally exploded a hole in front of the school... There was some fire and I think some Ice." Ruby explained.

"Are you being sarcastic?" Yang asked as she smiled while leaning a little closer to Ruby.

"*Scoff* I wish, I tripped over some crabby girl's luggage! And then she yelled at me! And then I sneezed. And then I exploded! And then she yelled at me again! And I felt really, really bad! And I just wanted her to stop yelling at me!" Ruby explained as the girl she was talking about earlier was standing right behind her.

"You!" Weiss called out.

"Oh god, it's happening again!" Ruby cried out as she jumped into Yang's arms.

"You're lucky we weren't blown off the side of the cliff!" Weiss said.

"Oh my god, you really exploded." Yang said as she put Ruby down.

"It was an accident! What's this?" Ruby said as Weiss pulled out a pamphlet and shoved it in her face.

Weiss then started to list off the stuff the pamphlet had word for word with her voice speeding up and getting more high-pitched, "The Schnee Dust company is not responsible for any injuries or damages sustained while operating a Schnee Dust Company Product, Although not mandatory, the Schnee Family highly encourages their customers to read and familiarize themselves with this easy-to-follow Dust application and practice in the field."

"Uhh....." Ruby said not knowing how to respond.

"You really want to start making things up to me?" Weiss asked.

"Absolutely!" Ruby said as she nodded her head.

"Read this and don't ever speak to me again." Weiss said as she shoved the pamphlet in her hands.

"Look, uh... it sounds like you two just got off on the wrong foot! Why don't you just start over and try to be friends, okay?" Yang suggested.

"Yeah! Great idea, Sis!" Ruby said as she started to clear her throat and put her hand out to Weiss.

"Hello, Weiss! I'm Ruby! Want to hang out? We can go shopping for school supplies." Ruby offered.

"Yeah, and we can paint our nails, and try on clothes and talk about cute boys like tall, H/C and handsome over there." Weiss said in fake happiness as she pointed to Y/N, while Jaune look over at Weiss and thought she was talking about him.

Y/N then sneezed, "Huh? Somebody must be talking about me." Y/N said as he rubbed his nose.

"Oh wow, really?!" Ruby asked in surprise.

"NO." Weiss said as she frowned.

The microphone was heard as Professor Ozpin started to speak with Glynda Goodwitch right next to him. After a couple of minutes Ozpin was done with his speech and then left as Glynda Goodwitch then got up on the mircophone.

"You will gather in the ballroom tonight: tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready, you are dismissed."

"He seem kind of...off." Yang said.

"Yeah it's like he wasn't even there." Ruby said.

"I'm a natural blond, you know!" Jaune corrected Weiss as she put her hands on her head feeling mildly annoyed.

The day passed as it was currently Nighttime as all the students gathered in the ballroom as Ruby was currently wearing her nightgown while writing in her notebook, as Yang then layed down right next to her sister wearing her nightgown that shows more of her body off.

"It's like a big slumber party!" Yang said.

"I don't think dad would approve of all the boys, though." Ruby said.

"I know I do~" Yang said seductively as she looked at the boys who were flexing across the room, then cringed when she saw Jaune walking by in his Onesie.

"What's that?" Yang asked her sister.

"A letter to the gang back home at Signal, I promised to tell them all about Beacon and how things are going." Ruby explained.

"Awww, that's so cuuuuuute!" Yang said as Ruby threw a pillow at her.

"Shut up! I didn't get to take my friends with me to school, it's weird not knowing anyone here!" Ruby said.

"What about Jaune? he's.....nice and also your other friend Y/N, where is he by the way?" Yang asked.

"I don't know, I ran into him this morning after you ditched me, and he helped me out with Weiss and then he just disappeared after that, so he can be anywher-" Ruby said as she looked around but stopped as she looked at the entrance of the ballroom looking wide-eyed as she slightly blushed.

"Sis? Are you okay? What are you looking a-" Yang tried to say but stopped as she followed Ruby's gaze looking wide-eyed as she blushed as well.

Blake was currently reading her book under her candles as she turned to the next page, Blake then noticed it was nothing but silence in the room as the bow on the top of her head had twitched as she slightly put the book down. Now normally Blake would be happy at the silence she was given, but she couldn't hear any voices in the room talking as it made her wonder why everybody was so silent, she then followed everyone's gaze, mainly a majority of the girls in the room as Blake looked at the source as she blushed as well.

Weiss Schnee was currently filing her nails as she thought about the events that happened today between her and that dolt that was called Ruby, and also that mindless Idiot wearing that yellow jumpsuit and that Black Haired girl that insulted her earlier. As she was lost in her thoughts she had unconsciously looked up only to see the same mindless idiot from before wearing no shirt and only shorts as he walked in the Ballroom as Weiss blushed as well without knowing it.

(Ignore the towel, and imagine you're only wearing shorts and have hair as well.)

Y/N then finally came into the Ballroom as he had only his shorts on, but decided to go shirtless since he didn't have anything else to wear.

Y/N then stopped and then looked around to find to a spot only to see a majority of the girls looking at him in awe while some boys were looking at him in envy and even jealously.

('Why are they all looking at me? do I have something on my face? Whatever I need to find a spot'.) Y/N thought as he walked around and saw an open spot next to the Black haired girl with the bow on her head as he walked to her.

"Hey, do you mind if I sleep here?" Y/N asked the girl.

"O-Oh sure, I don't mind." Blake said.

('This is one of the scenes that happens in one of my books.') Blake thought as she smiled.

"Really? Thanks." Y/N said as he sat in a spot right besides Blake.

"My name is Y/N it's nice to meet you." Y/N said as he put one of his hands out.

"Blake Belladonna. It's nice to meet you too Y/N." Blake said as she shook Y/N's hand.

Y/N then noticed a book she had in her hand as it was called 'The Man With Two Souls' .

"Hey what book is that you're reading?" Y/N asked.

"Oh this? It's called 'The Man With Two Souls' each fighting for control of his body." Blake explained.

"Oh I see, do you think I can borrow that and read it sometime?" Y/N asked as he was interested in the book.

Blake then looked stunned at Y/N, "Really? You actually want to read it?" Blake asked.

"Sure why not? I like to read, I read a lot of books when I was back home." Y/N said plainly.

Blake was shocked that she found a boy that actually likes to read, and reads almost or about just as much as she does which is really rare to see.

Blake then smiled at Y/N, "Sure! As soon as I'm finished reading it I'll be happy to let you borrow it!" Blake answered as her naturally calm voice was now sounding overly happy.

"Cool." Y/N said as he smiled a little at Blake.

The two were then interrupted out of their conversation as they heard a voice call out to them.

"Hellooooooooo~" Yang sung as she was pulling Ruby behind her.

"I believe you three may know each other." Yang said, as Ruby crossed her arms.

Yang then set her eyes on Y/N with a flirtatious look on her face, "So you're the Y/N Ruby was talking about, My names Yang Xiao Long, my sister Ruby didn't tell me the guy she knew was such a hunk, and look at those abs of yours, I must say momma likes what she sees~" Yang said seductively as she was intentionally showing off some of her body.

"Yangggg! Stop flirting with Y/N, that's my friend." Ruby said as she frowned at Yang while blushing.

"Oh come on Ruby, I know you've seen that body of his, doesn't it make it you want to get up close and personal while you roam your hands all over hi-" Yang started to say but her mouth was covered by Ruby's hand.

"Yangggg! stop embarrassing me! Y/N's only a f-friend." Ruby said as Y/N decided to speak up.

"Uhhhh....nice to meet you too, and thanks I guess?" Y/N said stoically while looking at Yang.

('Nothing?') Yang thought, as she saw that Y/N didn't even take a second glance at her.

"Wait a minute, about what you said earlier." Y/N started.

Yang then brushed aside Ruby's hand from off her mouth, "Yeahhhhh? What about it~" Yang said, the flirtatious look returning on her face.

"Ruby's your sister? You two don't even look alike." Y/N said.

Yang then look down sadly, as a imaginary rain cloud appeared on the top of her head and went away soon after.

Yang then sighed, "Yeah I know, we have the same dad but different moms." Yang explained.

"Oh." Y/N said.

Ruby and Yang then looked at Blake who was reading her book and sometimes taking a glance at Y/N.

"So what's your name?" Yang asked Blake.

Blake then glance over at Ruby and Yang, "Blake, also aren't you that girl that exploded earlier?" Blake asked.

"Uhh, Yeah! My names Ruby, but you can just call me... crater....actually you can just call me Ruby." Ruby said awkwardly as she put her hand out but retracted it soon after.

"Okay." Blake said as she was glanced back at the shirtless Y/N who at the moment was on his scroll thinking about something.

('They're gonna have a 40% off sale on food next week in Vale? I am not missing that.') Y/N thought.

"What are you doing?" Yang whispered to Ruby.

"I don't know, help me!" Ruby whispered back.

"Well Blake, I'm Yang! Ruby's older sister! I like your bow!" Yang said.

"Thanks." Blake said, not taking her eyes off Y/N.

"It goes great with your pajamas!" Yang added.

"Right....." Blake said, now wishing they would go away already.

Ruby and Yang awkwardly looked at each other before turning to Blake again, "Nice night, don't you think?" Yang asked.

"Yes, it's lovely. Almost as lovely as this book I have, that I will continue to read, as soon as I'm done with something, after you leave." Blake said as she finally took her eyes off Y/N.

"Yeah this girl is a lost cause." Yang said.

"What's it about." Ruby asked.

"Huh?" Blake said.

"Your book. Does it have a name?" Ruby asked.

"Well...it's about a man with two souls, each fighting for control over his body." Blake explained as she was surprised that another person asked about her book.

"Oh, yeah... that's real lovely..." Yang said, not really fond of books.

"I love books. Yang used to read to me every night before bed, stories of heroes and monsters... they're one of the reasons I want to be a huntress." Ruby explained.

Blake was amused at Ruby's motivation to be a huntress because of the books she read, "Why is that? Hoping you'll live happily ever after?" Blake asked.

"Well I'm hoping we all will. As a girl, I wanted to be just like those heroes in the books. Someone who fought for what was right, and who protected people who couldn't protect themselves." Ruby explained.

"That's very ambitious for a child." Blake said as she was stunned by Ruby's words.

"Unfortunately, the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale." Blake added.

"Well, that's why we're here... to make it better." Ruby answered.

"Ohhh, I'm so proud of my baby sister!" Yang said, as she hugged Ruby.

"Cut it out!" Ruby yelled, as she got into a scuffle with her sister.

"Well...Ruby, Yang, it was a pleasure to-" Blake started to say but was cut off.

"What in the world is going on over here!?" Weiss yelled, as stormed over to the group.

"Don't you realize some of us are trying to sleep?!" Weiss asked.

"Oh, not you again!" Ruby and Yang yelled.

"Shh! Guys, she's right! People are trying to sleep!" Ruby said.

"Oh, now you're taking my side." Weiss said.

"I was always on your side!" Ruby said.

"Yeah, what's your problem with my sister? She's only trying to be nice!" Yang said.

"She's a hazard to my health!" Weiss said.

During this argument Blake had closed her book and put it down as she then looked at Y/N and saw that he was sleeping with his arms spread out.

Blake smiled at the sight as she picked up the candles right next to her and was about to blow it out.

('Good Night Y/N.') Blake thought as she then blew out the candles.

AN: Hey guys! Another chapter of this story is done! Sorry for the late update, I've just been really busy at the moment, but like I had said in my other story, I hopefully will have more time to write as soon as summer comes, so yeah I'm looking forward to that, Also I made the chapter a little longer as well.
