("Thoughts")

"Talking"

Y/N and Ruby followed Glynda to a building where the both of them were to sit down for questioning and was currently being berated by the women at moment. Ruby was looking down at the floor looking unhappy while Y/N had a bored look on his face.

"I hope the both of you realize that your actions will not be taken lightly, You both put yourselves in grave danger." Glynda scolded.

"They started it!" Ruby yelled.

"She's not wrong you know." Y/N said plainly.

"If it were up to me you both would get sent with a pat on the back, and a slap on the wrist." Glynda declared as she slammed down her crop on the table startling Ruby and gaining a raised brow from Y/N.

("I don't get it why we are being scolded for fighting criminals? Isn't that what heroes are supposed to do? This part of town is weird.") Y/N Thought.

"However, as I said before there is someone here that would like to meet the both of you." Glynda said as she moved out of the way to let a man with silver hair and glasses walk in the room.

"Ruby Rose." Ozpin said.

"You have silver eyes." Ozpin stated leaning a little towards the girl inspecting her eyes.

"Uh.....Um?" Ruby muttered not knowing how to respond to that.

("That's not creepy at all.") Y/N thought sarcastically while looking at the scene.

"And you young man what is your name?" Ozpin asked turning towards the boy.

"My name is Y/N." Y/N said.

"I see.... nice to meet you." Ozpin said smiling at him.

"Um yeah.......you too I guess." Y/N responded not wanting to be rude to the man.

Ozpin Chuckles, "So where did you learn to do this?" Ozpin asked Ruby as he displayed a video of her fighting the henchmen.

"S-Signal Academy." Ruby responded.

"They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?" Ozpin questioned.

("You make it seem like it's a bad thing, I've seen more heroes with deadlier weapons then what Ruby has.") Y/N thought with a raised brow.

"Well one teacher in particular." Ruby said.

"I see." Ozpin said as he pushed a plate of cookies towards the both of them.

Y/N was about to grab a cookie from off the plate, but Ruby was devouring all of them within seconds like a vacuum cleaner making Y/N sweat drop a little at her.

"You could save me one you know?" Y/N asked her.

Ruby stopped her eating frenzy for a moment to look at Y/N then look back at one of the cookies on the plate, so she wiped the crumbs off her mouth and handed Y/N a cookie.

"Sorry I just really like cookies, their the best!" Ruby explained.

"Yeah..............I can see that." Y/N said taking the cookie from her and eating it while watching her go back to devouring them.

"It's just that I've seen one other scythe-wielder of that skill before, a dusty old crow." Ozpin said.

"Mmmm! Thash muh unkul!" Ruby said with food in her mouth.

"Ruby don't talk with your mouth full." Y/N said

Ruby looked at Y/N and immediately swallowed her food. "Sorry about that, but anyway that's my uncle Qrow, he's a teacher at signal."

"I wasn't that good at fighting until he took me under his wing, now I'm like Hooowaah! Witchaaa!" Ruby exclaimed making fighting noises at the end.

("That's sounds similar to me before I had met Sensei.") Y/N thought, now wondering what his Sensei and Genos were doing without him at the moment."

"So I've noticed, and what about you young man?" Ozpin asked glancing at the boy.

Y/N then got out of his thoughts and looked at the man, "Huh? uh......what about me?" Y/N asked.

"What can you tell me about this?" Ozpin asked as he pulled out the scroll pad again which showed Y/N punching the air with a strong force, destroying the fireball and launching the ship into the distance like he did before.

"I have never seen such strength like this before, do you mind if you tell me how you pulled this off?" Ozpin asked with everyone's eyes now on Y/N at the moment.

"Uh.........I'm just really strong that's all." Y/N said plainly

Ozpin wasn't convinced, "Surely there must be more reason to it than that, a feat like this doesn't happen everyday."

Y/N sighed, "It's the truth, the only reason I got this strong was because of my Sensei." He said.

Ozpin raised a brow out of curiosity, "Oh? and who is your Sensei if I may ask?" He said.

Y/N then smiled, "His name is Saitama, He's the greatest person I've ever met and the strongest person I know." Y/N explained.

("Saitama.") Ozpin thought.

"Hmmm..... and where is your Sensei if I may ask?" Ozpin said.

Y/N then looked down at the floor, "I don't know, I'm currently looking for him and my friend at the moment, last thing I remember was My friend and I were fighting some weird monster and it had used a strange ability that made me end up in this place, and now I have no idea where I am." He explained.

"I see." Ozpin said as he turned to Ruby.

"And what is an adorable girl such as yourself doing at a school designed to train warriors." Ozpin continued.

"Well...I want to be a Huntress." Ruby said.

"You want to slay monsters?" Ozpin asked.

It was then at this moment Ruby started to talk much more at a frightening speed.

"Yeah, I only have two more years left at signal, and then I'm going to apply to Beacon. You see, my sister is attending this year, and she's trying to become a Huntress, I'm trying to become a huntress 'cause I want to help people, my parents always said to help others and I thought, eh might as well make a career out of it, I mean the police are alright, but Huntress and Huntresses are just so much more romantic, *Unknown Noises* You know!" Ruby explained.

Y/N deadpanned as he listened to Ruby's explanation, Now he knew how his Sensei felt when Genos kept giving long stories like that and told him to shorten it to 20 words or less.

Glynda seemed to share Y/N's sentiment as she shook her head, as Professor Ozpin just stared at her.

"Do you know who I am?" Ozpin asked.

"No idea." Y/N answered.

"You're Professor Ozpin, you're the head master at Beacon." Ruby answered.

"Hello." Ozpin Greeted.

"Nice to meet you." Ruby responded.

"Yo." Y/N said.

"So you want to come to my School?" Ozpin asked her.

"More than anything." Ruby answered passionately.

"And what about you Mister Y/N? Would you like to come to my school as well?" Ozpin asked him.

Y/N was about to immediately refuse because he didn't want to go school and wear school uniforms and do class work which sounded like a living hell for him, but he thought about it for a second since he had nowhere to go at the moment and didn't have any money, plus his school sounded like a Combat School so he probably meet some really strong people there that could give him a good fight, but he had to find a way back to City Z and look for his Sensei and Genos.

"Um I don't know if I should, I still need to find my Sensei and My friend so I don't know if I'll be here that long, plus I don't really have any money on me to get anything from around here." Y/N explained.

Ozpin seemed to consider this, "Hmmm....How about this then Mister Y/N if you go to my school I'll allow you to search for your Sensei and your friend on your free time when your classes are over, and I'll also give you a good amount of pay so you'll be able to get the things you'll need." Ozpin offered.

Glynda looked at Ozpin as if he had grown a second head wondering why he would go so far to get the boy in Beacon, while Ozpin just stared at Y/N waiting for his answer.

Y/N thought a bit about the offer and thought that it sounded like a good deal, but before he could accept he had one last thing to ask.

"Ozpin right? before I give you an answer can you answer a question for me?." Y/N asked.

"Of course you can Mr. Y/N what do you want to know?" Ozpin asked.

Y/N then gained a serious look on his face as he asked, "Do they have Bargain Sales around here?" He asked.

Glynda and Ruby had confused looks on their face not knowing why Y/N had asked the headmaster that question while looking very serious about it, while Ozpin wasn't fazed by the question he asked.

"By Bargain Sales you mean discounts on items here correct? If so then they do have that here but it only happens on certain days." Ozpin explained, as Y/N started to stare at Ozpin when he said that.

Y/N:

Y/N then clenched his fist as he smirked at Ozpin, "Alright, you can count me in then!" Y/N exclaimed.

Ozpin then looked at Glynda as she crossed her arms and looked away from him as if to say "Do whatever you want."

"Well, Okay." Ozpin agreed.

Ruby had a bright smile on her face as she couldn't believe she was going to Beacon while Y/N was thinking about all the food he could get from here whenever the Bargain sales come.

After a few minutes they were free to go as both of them were about to leave the station, but Y/N had stopped for a second and decided to go back to ask Ozpin another question he had.

Ruby who saw this tried to call out to Y/N, "Y/N? Where are you going?" She asked.

Y/N then turned his head to Ruby, "I just need to ask that Ozpin guy something else before he leaves." Y/N explained.

Ruby then looked a little sad at Y/N, "Oh.....I guess this means I'll see you tomorrow at Beacon then?" she asked with a little hope in her eyes.

"Uh yeah, I guess you will." Y/N answered not knowing why she was looking sad at the moment.

"Oh, Ok cool.........Um Hey Y/N can I ask you something?" Ruby said as she started to tap her fingers a little as she looked down at the floor.

"Yeah what is it?" Y/N asked.

"Can..............We be friends?" Ruby asked as her voice was full of nervousness.

Y/N eyes widened a bit as her question caught him off guard and wondered why she wanted to be his friend. Y/N then remembered the only friends he had were his Sensei, and Geno's and maybe King. The rest like Fubuki and Bang were mostly acquaintances as Fubuki showed up at his Sensei's apartment sometimes to recruit his Sensei and him in her group while Bang just wanted them to join his Dojo.

He had never heard someone ask to be friends with him which was a first for him especially when they only just met a few hours ago.

Ruby was starting to take his silence as a No, She then started to get a little dejected and was about to apologize for asking but he spoke up.

"Sure why not? you seem like a nice person so yeah we can be friends." Y/N said as he smiled a little at her.

Ruby then smiled brightly as she then ran up and hugged Y/N, "Thanks." She said, then a couple of seconds later her eyes widened as she now realized what she did and immediately let go of Y/N.

"I'm sorry! I should've warned you about it first! Please forgive me!" Ruby cried out not wanting Y/N to hate her for that.

Y/N then put a hand up which made her stop talking, "It's fine Ruby, don't worry about it." Y/N said.

Ruby then smiled and nodded at him, then she looked at the clock and her eyes widened in fear as she saw what time it was, if she didn't get back home on time she was probably going to be in big trouble.

"Oh man I have to get back home Or I'm going to be in trouble! Bye Y/N I'll see you tomorrow!" Ruby yelled as she took off in a trail of Rose Pedals as she wasn't seen anymore in the distance.

Y/N watched her take off in an impressive speed as she wasn't seen anymore in the distance, he then turned around and walked back into the building to talk to that Ozpin guy before he left.

"Ahhh, Mr. Y/N do you have another question for me?" Ozpin asked as he saw the boy walk back into the building.

"Uh yeah, I don't really have any place to stay at the moment and I still don't know were I am, do you know any place where I can stay for today?" Y/N asked.

"I see, hold on I'll be right back." Ozpin said as he went in the back to get something while Y/N waited for him for a couple of minutes.

When Ozpin came out he had a Card, and a Scroll in his hand.

"What are those for?" Y/N asked.

"Seeing as you're new around here Mr. Y/N it would be unfortunate if you were to get lost around here, What I have here is a Card that has a good amount of money on it, I would tell you to spend it wisely but I have a feeling you won't do that. And this right here is a Scroll, you can use it as a phone, a computer, or other things if you desire it." Ozpin explained.

("It looks just like a tablet like what they have back home, but this one seems more advanced though.") Y/N thought as he looked at the tablet with interest.

"That sounds pretty cool, can that Scroll tell me when the Bargain Sales will come?" Y/N asked.

Ozpin chuckles, "Yes it can Mr. Y/N, now then let me explain the City you are in and how to get to my school as well." Ozpin said.

Ozpin then explained to Y/N what City he was in and also how to get to his school and back by catching a bullhead, which Y/N thought was their version of an airship, Ozpin also explained the other cities as well making sure not to leave a single important detail out.

Y/N actually made an effort to listen to what Ozpin was telling him about this city, and other cities they have around here because he didn't have any idea where he was, so he decided it was best for him to have as much information about this place as possible.

Ozpin was now done with his explanation in a few minutes. "So Mr. Y/N does that answer all your questions?" Ozpin asked.

"Yeah I get the gist of where I'm at now." Y/n answered.

Ozpin then nodded at his answer, "Good you'll leave for Beacon first thing in the morning, and don't worry I've rented you a room for the day in a Hotel so you can get some sleep for today, so I guess you better get going. I'll see you tomorrow Mr. Y/N." Ozpin said as he gave the card and the Scroll to Y/N, and Y/N took them as he said goodbye to Ozpin as he made his way to the door.

("So I'm going to School huh? I just hope it's not as boring as the monsters I fight back home, but who knows since it's a Combat School I might find someone who can give me a good fight.") Y/N thought as he started to walk to where the Hotel was located.

(City Z)

Third Person POV

Genos has now arrived at Saitama's house and went into the apartment and saw his Sensei was still currently reading one of Y/N's manga books.

Saitama who heard the door open looked up and saw Genos walk in.

"You guys are back pretty early." Saitama said with a raised brow.

Genos looked at his Sensei and didn't say anything as he didn't know how to tell his Sensei what happened to Y/N.

Saitama noticed that Genos didn't say anything and saw that he had a guilty look on his face. He was about to turn to Y/N to ask what up with Genos, but noticed Y/N wasn't there.

"Hey Genos where's Y/N?" Saitama asked.

Genos then decided to explain to his Sensei what happened, "Sensei I'm afraid that Y/N is gone, We had ran into a mysterious monster that was most likely the cause of the monster attacks that decreased in this city. It seems like that monster had used some type of portal to send Y/N to a place we don't know where. I'm sorry I failed you Sensei." Genos explained as he down at the floor.

Saitama looked at Genos with a blank face for a couple of seconds, he then put the book down as he got up and put a hand on Genos shoulder. "Don't worry Genos, I'm sure Y/N's fine wherever he is, he'll find a way to get back here sooner or later." He stated.

Genos then looked up at his Sensei and smiled as he nodded at what he said.

"Alright let's go get some udon noodles I'm hungry." Saitama said.

"Yes!" Genos yelled, as he waited for his Sensei to get dressed as they both walked out the door.
