("Thoughts")

"Talking"

(In Saitama's Apartment)

It was just another regular day in my Sensei's house as usual as Genos and I were watching T.V at the moment with nothing really interesting to watch at the moment, but also keeping lookout for any potential monster warnings that could happen in the city while My Sensei was currently reading one of the new manga I bought which was called Tokyo Ghoul, which was a great series by the way.

"'Sigh'..... I wish there was something for me to do other than watch T.V, I'm dying of boredom here." Y/N said with a neutral tone.

"Maybe you should read some manga or something Y/N, It'll probably take your mind off it." Saitama said while reading the manga.

"I WOULD IF YOU DIDN'T KEEP HOGGING ALL OF THE NEW MANGA I BUY!" Y/N Yelled, gaining a tick mark on his head.

"I do that? Hmm... sorry about that Y/N." Saitama said, still not taking his eyes off the book.

("Can you at least look at me when you say that?") Y/N thought, now giving up knowing how lazy his Master is.

"Well what about you Genos? Got something we can do?" Y/N asked his robotic friend.

"I currently do not know a good activity for the both of us to do besides sparring Y/N." Genos responded.

"I really don't want to, but sure why not? There's nothing else to do anyway and who knows you might actually beat me." Y/N said

"I know that at my current level I don't come even close to you or master's power, but this will be a great learning experience for me." Genos responded passionately.

"Alright let's head out then, Sensei are you coming with us?" Y/N asked.

"No I'll stay here, you two have fun." Saitama said, still not taking his eyes off the book.

("Note to self: Start hiding my Manga from Sensei") Y/N thought as he deadpanned.

Y/N went to go put on his hero suit and then both of them headed for the door with Genos leaving out the door first, and Y/N was about to follow him but his Sensei's voice stopped him.

"Y/N" Saitama called out.

"What is it Sensei?" Y/N asked.

"Try not to hurt Genos too much, it would be bad if he turned into modern art again like last time." Saitama said as he finally looked at him.

("About time he took his eyes off that damned book.") Y/N thought.

"Don't worry Sensei I will." Y/N said as he walked out the door and closed it.

(In City Z)

Third Person POV

Y/N and Genos were currently walking through the abandoned city and heading towards are usual training area in the Mountain Landscapes. They could've ran there but Y/N just didn't feel like it at the moment, Y/N at the moment was currently kind of curious as too why there hasn't been a single monster attack in this area for about a week now. For crying out loud this place was abandoned because there were too many attacks in this area.

"Hey Genos don't you think it's too quiet around here for a place that should be filled with monsters?" Y/N asked.

"I have also been thinking about that as well, my scanners say that monster attacks have decreased to at least 80% in this city." Genos said.

"That much? man either some hero has been taking care of them consistently, or maybe because of some powerful monster I guess." Y/N said, putting his hands behind his head.

"I highly doubt it could be any of the heroes, a majority of them don't even come to City Z at all." Genos said skeptically.

He could be right about that, but if it isn't one of the heroes than what could've have caused the monsters to disappear this quickly in that short of a time?

"You may be right about that Genos, but keep your guard up around here just in case we run into the thing that's causing this." Y/N said.

"I will make sure that I d-" Genos started to stay but his eyes widened then glowed as he looked around trying to find something.

"Genos what are you doing? are you looking for someone?" Y/N said confused.

"I can sense a high speed object around us, but I cannot track it's location for some reason." Genos said seriously.

"You mean something's following us?" Y/N said currently looking around for the thing Genos was looking for.

Genos was getting annoyed that he couldn't track the thing that was currently following them because whatever it was, It was good at hiding it's presence. He then looked in front of him to see the thing slowly appear a few feet away in front of the both of them.

Y/N and Genos both looked at it and saw that it was some type of floating dark mass that had no body and was made of purple smoke. It had no legs, had five fingered hands with sharp claws, it also had a dark low set face with two horn like protrusions on top of it, Blue glowing eyes, and a blue glowing mouth with several sharp teeth. lastly it has various gears flowing around it's back.

(Time Eater)

Disaster level: ???

"What is that thing?" Genos said wide eyed.

"Why does it have gears coming out of it's back?" Y/N said, while picking his ear.

"ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" The thing roared shaking the ground a little.

"Geez man have you ever heard of dental hygiene lately, because your breath is really bad." Y/N asked while covering his nose.

"Y/N allow me to take care of this thing, I wish to test my new upgrades ever since the last time we sparred." Genos said getting into a fighting stance as his body heated up.

"Sure dude go for it, just be careful alright." Y/N said while picking his ear again.

"Yes!" Genos responded as he used his boosters on his back and charged at the thing with immense speed as he cocked his fist back to punch it in the face, but the thing suddenly disappeared in a puff of smoke as Genos missed attack leveled the area cracking a few buildings around them.

"Tch" Genos said, as he sensed the thing appear right behind him and twisted his body to do a spinning back kick aiming for the things face, but it caught it with it's claw and punched Genos in the face sending him flying into a couple of buildings down the road.

"Hmmm... Genos has gotten pretty faster ever since the last time we sparred, but this thing seems a bit faster than him if it had dodged his attack that easily, I wonder how Genos will do against it." Y/N said observing the fight with a bit of interest.

(With Genos a few meters down the road)

"Whatever this thing is it is fast and read my attacks easily. I will have to try harder if I want to defeat this thing." Genos concluded as his boosters appeared from his back once more as he floated into the air and dashed back to where it was.

Genos uses his hyper sensors from his eyes as he was in the air and located the thing a few feet away from Y/N as it was about to attack him. So he flown towards it at high speeds and put both of his arms out in front of him as they detached and launched it towards the thing.

The Arms then connected with it's target as both of his arms hit it right in the face making it roar in pain as it skid a few feet away down the street.

Genos then reconnected his arms and landed in front of the thing as it was recovering from his attack, and used his speed to appear right in front of the thing and used his signature attack.

"Machine Gun Blows!" Genos yelled as he unleashed a fury of punches onto the thing as it roared in pain unable to stop the blows.

Genos then stopped his assault as he then charged an energy cannon from his hand as his body was heating up even more.

"Now die" Genos said glaring at the thing. "INCINERATE!" he yelled as he blasted a gigantic heat wave from his hand creating a massive trail of fire in the distance. The thing roared in pain once more as the noise died down soon after.

Genos body then cooled down as the attack died down, and saw that the creature was no longer in front of them.

"Target eliminated" Genos said as he couldn't sense the thing anymore.

(Song End)

"Good Job Genos, you certainly got stronger ever since the last time we fought. You really took care of that thing." Y/N said as he walked towards him with a small smile on his face.

Genos looks at Y/N in gratitude as he smiled a little. "Thank you Y/N, but I couldn't help but wonder what that thing is and where it came from. It didn't look like any monster I've ever fought before, something seemed... different about it." Genos said now looking over to where he destroyed the thing.

"Yeah it seemed pretty weird to me too, but since you took care of it, it may have been nothing to worry about." Y/N said as he shrugged his shoulders.

"I suppose so." Genos said.

"Well we should probably get going now, we still got our fight to do also." Y/N said as he started to walk ahead with his cape flowing in the wind.

"Yes!" Genos said as he started to follow Y/N but his eyes widened as his scanners went off, sensing something in the area again.

("What! but that's Impossible, I'm positive I destroyed that thing".) Genos thought as he frantically looked around again.

Genos than gasped as he turned around and saw the thing behind him with multiple circles around it that looked like portals. Then it unleashed a massive wind pressure towards him.

Genos not wanting to know what happens if he gets into one those portals quickly used his boosters to propel him off the ground, as he started using his speed to get himself to a safe distance. Genos then quickly looks at Y/N who was currently not paying attention at the moment as he tried to warn him.

"Y/N LOOK OUT!" Genos yelled.

(Y/N 5 minutes ago)

("Hmmm.... I wonder what we should have for dinner today? Maybe eggs on rice? No we've had that too much already.) Y/N thought.

("Maybe we could have seaweed again, but I don't know where master got it from.") Y/N thought as he scratched his cheek.

("Hmm... we could ask Bang again if he has more of that grade a mea-") Y/N thought but was interrupted by a blast of wind.

"Why is it so windy out here?" Y/N muttered, as he raised one of his eyebrows in confusion.

"Y/N LOOK OUT!" Genos yelled.

"Huh?" Y/N said as he turned around and saw the thing from before with multiple circles around it.

"I thought Genos killed that thing. It must be tougher than I thought." Y/N said with a neutral tone.

The wind pressure the thing had launched at Genos had finally reached Y/N as it started to pick him up and bring him towards it.

"Woah! so this is what it feels like to fly, feels very convenient." Y/N said as he saw he was getting closer to one of the circles it created.

"What are those circle things around it? It looks kinda cool now that I'm looking at it." Y/N said as he observed the circles with a little interest.

"Y/N!" Genos yelled as he flew as fast as he could towards his friend to save him, but it was too late as he saw Y/N get sucked through one of the portals as it then closed with the rest of them.

"Y/N NOOO!" Genos Yelled, as he saw his friend disappear into the portals.

Genos then looked at the thing in rage as he then charged at it using more speed against it than before. He then used one of his shoulder blades to slash it in half, but it disappeared again and was gone being nowhere in sight.

Genos then growled in anger as he used his sensors to try and find the thing again, but to no avail as he couldn't locate it.

Genos then floated down to the ground and punched the ground in anger creating a massive crater into the ground. Genos was now overloaded with anger and sadness that one of the first friends he ever made was gone and nowhere to be found.

"I have to find that thing again, it is the only chance for me to find where Y/N is." Genos concluded as he used his boosters again to fly himself back to his masters place.

("How am I going to tell Sensei what happened to Y/N? Sensei and Y/N seemed liked the best of friends way before I met the both of them, I hope Sensei can forgive me for this because this is my fault that this had happened. If only I wasn't so quick to assume the thing wasn't destroyed than this wouldn't have happened to Y/N.") Genos thought as he soared into the sky with a regretful look on his face as he flew to his masters place.
