Law remembered their last meeting on the Sabaody Archipelago, when she was still part of the straw hats. Who knows what happened to her in those two years... He have thought about it since he saw Luffy and his crew. Needless to say, he missed her terribly. He would have given anything to hold (Y/n) D. Roger again. In fact the girl was also the sister of that Ace, yet she had a character much more like Luffy's.

"Hey, (Y/n)? Do you miss them?" The girl lifted her eyes towards Nami. "I've been on that island almost two years. It's normal for me to be sorry, but I'm glad I found you again! And thank you for letting me return my memories. I'm looking forward to reviewing others!"

"We are back!" Yelled Luffy. "And we have a surprise!" (Y/n) was all smiling. "Hello guys!" After a first moment of silence and hesitation Usopp and Chopper went to embrace the girl, then they were raised by Franky. "We must celebrate!" And they all laughed. (Y/n) and Law crossed their eyes, but the girl turned immediately, as if she didn't even know who he was. (Y/n) explained to everyone what had happened in those two years: she had been taken prisoner by big Mom, she was interested in the power of her copy-copy fruit, able to copy other fruits of the devil; and to make the girl more obliging the Empress had used Pudding and modified the girl's memories. (Y/n), after seeing the evidence of their friendship and affection that brought them together, had succeeded in remembering everything. Everything that happened with Luffy's crew, but she didn't know that there were other important things she didn't remember.

After hearing her story, Law began to nurture hopes, perhaps there was still a small hope of being able to recover the girl he loved.

"(Y/n)?" The girl turned to the voice, it had something familiar, but didn't know the person who had spoken. "Who are you?" "I'm Trafalgar Law, don't you remember me?" The girl shook her head, wondering what the boy represented for her. Law sighed. "Do you want to take a walk together? Maybe it helps you refresh your memory." (Y/n) smiled. "It could be a good idea." The two spoke of more and less, but the girl understood that there must be something profound between them. And when their hands touched, she felt a shiver through the body. She tried to avoid the look of Law. Perhaps her mind no longer remembered what had happened, but her body yes.

The pirate wanted to meet the girl other times, to see if maybe even with him the memories would be resurfaced, but it didn't. The days passed and nothing happened. Nothing that he could concretely see and verify. He had to act. And he had to do it before it was too late.

So, during one of their walks, he took the girl aback and he pushed her against a tree. "What are you doing?" Asked the girl a little worried, but it was evident the redness on her cheeks. "I'm trying to help you, (Y/n). I can't go on like this anymore. We were not just friends, we loved each other." The girl's eyes widened, though in fact the news did not upset her that much, perhaps because, inside her, she knew that Law was telling the truth. "When we were little we were both part of the Doflamingo crew, don't you remember Cora-san? Then our roads were split again, but we were able to meet. And we decided to be together, yet again we lost sight of us, but, believe me (Y/n), my feelings for you have never changed. And they never will." After having said so he bent over and kissed the girl. (Y/n) first did nothing, then she abandoned herself to the kiss and something surprising happened: Long hidden memories were slowly afloat. All the happy moments passed with Law were again hers, her life returned to be completely her. Hot tears began to form from her eyes and Law turned away from the girl with uncertainty. (Y/n) looked at the pirate in his eyes and lifted a hand, caressing his face. "I remember..." She whispered gently. "What?" "I told you I remember, I remember everything, my love." And this time she was the one who kissed the pirate.
