Sadness.
Depression.
Emptiness.
She woke up in the light of the sun and waited until the night would come.
All the actions she did, cooking, eating, cleaning, working, washing. It all had no meaning to her anymore. She couldn't understand it anymore. The purpose of it all, what was it?
What was the purpose if she had no one to share it with? All the things she's done and now, the house was empty, so empty it broke her to tears again.
Meaningless.
Everything was meaningless now that she had no one to come back to, no one to laugh with, no one to cook for, no one to be with.
The worst feeling ever in this world was loneliness. Loneliness broke her apart, it was like, like an eagle capturing its prey into its claws. Loneliness did the exact same thing to her own self.
The world she once saw, disappeared, it died when everyone died. A small part of her died when one died, but now, the gears won't work anymore. They are ruined forever. All the gears stopped working, and she decided to keep on dreaming, keep on committing uncommitted death every night so she could meet them again. So she could laugh with them again.
With her family.
Yet, at some point in her dreams, the cruel group of pirates invited themselves and began killing each one of them until she was left alone in the darkness with the grinning faces of the murderers laughing in the background.
She jumped out of her bed in the bright moon.
Her pain could finally go away.
She searched in the drawer, for that.
A gun.
She pointed it to her temple and contemplated the world. There was nothing to miss here, and she wouldn't be missed either.
But then the door to her room slammed open and the white strands of silver hair were the only thing she could see before she was thrown in the embrace of a beefy body. Her eyes widened in surprise at the man in front of her.
His veins were popping on his forehead and his breath huffed with each second until there was nothing but a calm yet firm breath.
He ran all the way here.
''Smoker?''
She asked innocently but he was angry. Oh, so angry.
He yelled at her.
''What were you thinking?!!''
Her eyes brimmed with salty tears and he wiped them all away. Her hands curled around his waist and her grip tightened. She didn't want to let go.
He growled, still upset at the doings of his beloved. He hugged her and kissed her forehead.
The warm embrace was all she needed. Her heart lightened up again, and all these miserable feelings were long gone. He threw them out.
Smoker, grumpy as he was, confessed his undying love and she smiled wholeheartedly.
The days passed, and she passed along with them too, all thanks to him.
And,
She didn't have anyone to wait for her anymore but instead, it was her turn to wait for him to come home again.
Her beloved.
