Shell town, 153rd marine branch

The three plus dog arrived to their destination"Hut. Hut. Hut. Hut. Hut" marines marching by, aya noticed some people were locked in the stocks, but luffy was looking at the wanted posters which was under a large poster of of axe hand Morgan, some of the wanted posters were old, some ripped from age, some with smaller bounty's and some with larger ones "I don't know there were so many pirates!" Luffy smiled excited

"There are way worst pirates on the grand line" Koby stated shaking his head "It's terrible"

"Yeah" Luffy smile disappeared and was replaced with a frown as he stepped forward "Yeah. I know, right?" He then asked "Where's my face?" Which made the two just look at him with a 'are you serious' look from behind

He turns around sighing "Well, only one way I'm gonna get inside that base.And it's not on an empty stomach." He smiles and gestured them to follow "Come on!"

Aya was about to follow when she noticed Koby still looking at the posters, then sees him looking at the one that had alvida's bounty and knew what he was feeling "Hey" she placed a hand on his shoulder "you don't have to worry about her anymore, you've got the avatar by your side, the spirits, vido and luffy too, and I know lots of in shell town, Kay?"

Koby nods smiling a little " then let's go" Koby starts walking after luffy, as she goes to follow him, but suddenly a long blond haired male appeared in front of her blocking her way, Helmeppo, son of axe hand Morgan "Well hello to you sweet heart~" he smirked eying her up and down, Which absolutely disgusted her, vido growled at him, but was ignored "what's a pretty little thing like you doing in a crap place like this?" He asked " care to grab a drink?" He offered

"Excuse me?" She raised an eye brow "Not interested but thank you" she moves past him quick before he caught her arm, but he wasn't giving up on her that easy

After loosing the guy aya and vido joined back up with the other two, the three sat at a table, luffy eating the food they ordered, the room was filled with people sitting at they're individual tables, some walking around tankers around, music playing

A woman brings another plate which had rice balls to they're table "We already have our food" Koby said to her, but luffy quickly put the plate down looking to the food "No more is better. More is better" he said and she placed the plate down then walks away "You gotta feed the brain" he stated, as he picks one up, he starts devising the plan between the two

"All right, so...I can't get inside the base through the gate, but maybe...maybe...maybe what if I get side flying?" He suggested " I can grab onto a bird or something. or aya you can make us float in"

"That's a terrible idea" she stated in a hush voice taking one of the rice balls and taking a bite, Koby looks around the room, specifically the many marines that hadn't heard them yet, and didn't want them too "And keep your voice down" he scolded As aya gets up " luffy I'm just gonna get vido some water to drink and something for myself, be right back" she informs standing up and picking up the dog " oh yeah sure" he nods as she walks off and continue talking to Koby

Aya goes up to the bar, holding vido in her arms, getting greeted by a familiar face " aya!" The woman smiled and aya greeted her with the same smile " hey ririka, is it possible to gets some water for my little pal here please, and my usual?" She asked the bar tender " of course! Sit tight I'll be back" who nods and goes to the get the order, While aya waited, she noticed the little girl giggling while watching, and decided to play along " you hear that vido?" While the little girl giggled more as vido looked at her and wagging his tail " I could've sworn I heard a familiar little rascal" then called out grinning mischievously" rika?"

" aya!" The girl laughs and runs up to the girl hugging her waist, vido barked complaining about not getting attention " oh you want attention too little furball?" She offered

rika laughs and starts stroking the dogs head "Hi vido" he enjoyed it when he got scratched behind the ear, She squealed when he starts licked her hand, which she retracted, then the two girls start laughing " you both can play for a bit, we'll be here for a while" Rika grinned as vido was passed over to her, then placed on the ground so he could run " come on buddy!" Rika rushes off, vido running after her barking, aya giggles shaking her head As her beer was placed on the table and a bowl of water for vido when he'd come back

Just then Zoro the pirate hunter walks in, carrying his three swords tied to his waist, Carrying something in a large brown sack behind him, which he dragged along the wooden floor, The top of the back showed half of a human head with red spikes from the man he'd fought, as it bumped against the seat around the bar counter.

He picked up the brown bag to place it onto a seat, and leant against the counter "A bottle for me, and one for my friend." He says in a deep voice, ririka glanced to the bag beside him as he finished "He's had a rough day." She didn't even bother to ask, someone next to him smirks and suddenly walks away as the woman bent down and pick up two bottles of alcohol from beneath the bar, placing them on the table

He turned away and was about to drink one of them when he noticed rika holding vido, who was panting wagging his tail, on the other side of aya staring from her side of the counter, she giggled then snuck away, which he watched confused then looked as the girl she was hiding behind shook her head playfully watching the kid go, continuing drinking her beer, when someone random guy decided to approach and flirt with her " hey there gorgeous, what's a pretty little thing like you doing drinking all alone? Care for some company?" She shifted in her seat, trying to keep her distance but he just moved closer "Come on, darling. There's no need to be shy." The guy pushed on

" I'm alright thanks" aya stated uncomfortably, moving away when he stroked her arm " come on~"

"Do you not know how to take no for an answer?" The male on the opposite side of her butted in, aya looked over to see zoro glaring daggers at the guy, seemingly equally annoyed by his pushiness " the lady said no"

"Who are you to butt in?" the guy scoffed " her boyfriend maybe?" Zoro said in a deep voice, his swords in view, aya is surprised, especially when he pulled her away from the guy and towards her, hugging her side with his head resting her right shoulder hiding it from the guy " play along" he whispered, then pulled away, still keeping his arm around her waist

" sorry I'm late sweetheart, I didn't leave you alone for too long did I?" He asked playing the part with that smile that could probably make any girl weak in the knees, which aya followed, putting on a smile "No, not at all, I'm happy you made it" she says

"I don't believe this" the guy shook his head, not falling for it "You're definitely lying"

"Does this look like lying to you" zoro asked, as he turned his head and kissed her on the cheek, making her turn bashful, then Looking towards the guy who had a look of disbelief and rage " now I'd scram if I were you before someone reports you for harassment, especially towards a couple that just met up with each other" zoro warned, gesturing to the people that witnessed the commotion, even whispering to one another

The Guy couldn't handle the pressure of people staring and judging and left without saying a word

Aya sighs in relief " thank you" she says to him " I didn't know what's to do without getting in trouble later" she says crossing her arms

"You're welcome. But I expected you to do something else in return." He said with a grin

" I'm not bowing down and kissing your boots if that's the catch" she denied deadpanning, to which he chuckles shaking his head before staring looking back to her " I didn't say that, but instead we can have a drink and chat, pass the time before I have to leave?" Aya thinks about it, then shrugs her shoulders " better than talking with a creep who doesn't take no for an answer" she replied to which both laugh

On the opposite side of the bar, the orange haired girl sat leaning bored against one of the thin pillars with a glass in hand, a tall marine approached her "Hi, can I buy you a drink?" He offered

"Too tall" she looked away and noticed a bearded man closer to her height moving past them to the bar, she smirks and walks away leaving the man confused, as she walks to the man and leans her back against the bar "You like rum?" She asked, as he looked at her "Yeah, Sure" he replied nodding "Much as the next guy"

"I'm not asking the next guy" she says almost like she sounded like she was flirting

Rika is seen returning, with vido scattering towards the bowl aya left for him to drink from, approaching the two talking with a metal plate with two brown rice balls "What's this?" Zoro asked

"Rice balls" rika smiled holding them out "For you two" she replied, making aya smile"You made them yourself?" He asked "Mm-hmm!" she hummed nodding "What's the brown stuff?" He questioned "Chocolate." She replied "Makes everything taste better" not noticing the man walking behind her "Rika?" Her mother called, she bumped into the long blond haired man, causing her to drop the plate and the food on it at his feet "You stupid, stupid girl" he glared, everyone watched the scene as he proceeded to stomp on the rice ball, she looked up at him terrified, which angering the girl behind him and making the dog growled "Why don't you watch where your going?"

"Rika, apologise to our guest" her mother said

"I'm...I'm so sorry" she apologised in a stutter, he mocked, fake crying what she said "I-I'm so sorry...Next time I won't be so nice" he warned

"Hey!" Aya snapped, gaining his attention walks and gets in front of rika"Don't you dare talk to her like that!" She glared " She apologised to you! she's just a child"

"This don't have anything to do with you sweetheart, now move along" he attempts to grab her arm again "Don't touch me!" Aya swat his hand Away" ow!" He yelled and looks down to find the small dog bit his leg "Get lost mutt!" He kicked vido aide, the animal let out a painful whine making rika gasp, rushing to him " vido!" Aya rushed over as well and pet the animal in the little girls arms, then turned and glared at the blond male, glaring daggers "how dare you kick my dog!"

" dog" he scoffed "he's more like a little rat" he laughed mockingly, which only added her anger "You dropped my food" a sudden voice interrupts, attention goes to Zoro who walked over and bent down, picking up some of the squashed rice ball

Helmeppo cringed in disgust as he watched the swordsman eat it off the floor, as Zoro hummed in satisfaction, "Delicious." He compliment looking back at Rika who smiled

He gets back up with the plate in hand with the only rice ball then looked back to the blond " Now you eat one" he says to which Helmeppo starts laughing "And apologies to the girls, and her dog" which makes aya smile, the male stepped forward having a stare down with the green haired fellow "Do you know who I am?"

Zoro looked him down and up, then back at him as he answered "A shit head marine with a bad haircut who doesn't know how to talk to women" he replies turning towards the bar, which  angered the male he unsheathed his sword, ilie pulled rika and vido who barked furiously back

"I wouldn't do that." Zoro warned with his eyes closed tiredly

"Oh, come on, tough guy. Three swords?" He laughed a cackling taunt looking around at everyone, who had fearful looks over their faces, "I only need one." Zoro slowly opened his eyes up in a low rasping voice, "Okay. But it's gonna hurt." He warned

Helmeppo swings his blade at him, however was blocked it with the hilt of his sword which he slipped up, he then walked the Marine's swords, which ended up with the blond getting smacked in the face with the hilt and falling to the floor

Koby immediately takes cover underneath the table in fear as other marines get out of they're chairs as luffy and aya watched from where they sat or stood in awe "Oh/Wow..."

As Helmeppo whimpered crawling away, other marines rush forward to intervene, to which zoro knocks over a stool beside him and kicks it towards one of them, which trips him up, the other swings his sword, but zoro ducks, grabbing them man, then knocking him out by slamming him into the bar counter

Koby pants terrified, where as luffy and ilie seem to feel the opposite, rather intrigued

Zoro finishes the rest of his drink before yeeting it towards an incoming attackers gut, as he steps forward, Helmeppo swings his sword which zoro once again dodged and gets it stuck against the counter

Grabbing the wrist of another Marine who tired to attack him, Zoro forcefully shoved him
into the other marine, using The handle of his katana's to block their swords, then slamming them into a pillar roughly. 

Helmeppo frees his blade, clumsily stumbling backwards as another marine tried to swing a sword, but zoro was quick to catch the marines wrist, and swing the marines arm with the sword in hand to block helmeppo's blade, kicks them in the side with his boots in the gut

He trips the Marine down onto the floor, while twisting Helmeppo's wrist around then kicks him in the gut directly into the counter

Zoro backs up stepping sideways, sensing the two Marine incoming, as that made them both collide with each other instead of him

The marine with the orange haired girl looked like he was going to intervene also, however he got his head slammed against the counter knocking him by said girl, who then proceeded to drag his unconscious body out of sight

Zoro lands onto a table in the middle of the bar, kneeling down on it with his black sword out, using the hilt to block off the Marine's coming at him, which he easily knocks out all at once. 

Luffy and aya looked at each other from opposite sides of the room and smiled knowing they shared the same idea, meanwhile nobody noticed the orange haired girl taking off the marine she'd knocked out uniform

Zoro jumped up when a Marine swiped his blad at his legs, slamming his boots into the males arm, then cartwheels himself over he male, heaving the Marine over his head and over the bar counter

"Wow good fighter" Luffy comments while Koby looks at him as if he was crazy

Everyone watched as zoro went up to the whimpering Helmeppo, forcing him up and slamming him against the counter, moving his face to the side of Helmeppo's head, "You shouldn't draw your blade unless you're prepared to use it."

"Don't kill me, please." Helmeppo pleaded fearfully, wide eyed "My father will give you anything you want."

"Who's your father?" Zoro questioned

"Captain Morgan." The blond answered him shaking "He's in charge of the Marine base."

Zoro trailed his eyes to Helmeppo, tilting his head to the side as he grunted through a tight jaw, "Then he owes me money."

He forcefully pulls him away from the counter, but before dragging him out of the bar, he forced the man in front of aya, who held vido back protectively and held her arm out in front of rika who hid behind her scared

" but i believe I told you before to apologise to them!" He grit his teeth forcing the blond forward and bowing his head yelping in pain " ah! I'm sorry!! I'm sorry! I sorry for yelling at you both and kicking the dog! I'm sorry!"The swords man then proceeded to drag the blond away, leaving the girl confused, as well as her dog who looked at her tilting his head with strange groan

Elsewhere

Zoro is standing in the office of axe hand Morgan who was currently sharping his hand axe " I understand you sent four of my marines to the infirmary"

Three marines blocked the doors while zoro and the captains son stood up front, the blond looking nervous standing next to the swordsman " without drawing a blade, I might add" axe hand Morgan days while stopping the device he used for the sharpening "impressive" the man says while looking at his reflection in the mirror while inspecting the axe

"I didn't want to make a mess" the swords man stated

"Roronoa Zoro the demon!" He chuckles "Most feared pirate hunter in the East Blue. Hmm. I'd say you live up to your reputation." The captains voice boomed as he smiled at the male "If it's all the same, I'll just take my money and go." Zoro says devoid of emotion

"You'll collect your bounty, but the penalty for assaulting a Marine is seven days strung up in the yard. No food or water." Axe hand Morgan stated waking down the small flight of stairs as his son smirking at the man who didn't seem to care.

"You can try to arrest me, but your brat'll be the first one I kill." The green haired male said, which enraged the blond next to him stepped forward, argued like a child throwing a tantrum  "Hey! He can't speak to me that way!" He yelled and pointing, until his father backhanded him with the none shape side of the axe, he collected himself, standing back up and standing in his place sulking while fixing his hair

"I like you." Axe hand Morgan smirked then began circling the make  "Oh, we should be working for the same team. You'd make a hell of a Marine." He says placing a hand on the hunters shoulder, his son looks dejected, the captain removes his hand as the swords man spoke

"Hmm. Kind of got my own thing going on. Doesn't leave much time for playing dress-up." 

"It's a shame to lose a man of your talents, since you won't be able to collect a bounty at any Marine base" the captain threatened.

"once I get the word out. So what's it gonna be? A new career? Or the yard?" The captain questioned, zoro thought about it for merely a second before giving his answer "Seven days? I could catch up on my sleep." He replied

Time skip

That night, the half waning moon high in the sky, along with the flickering lights from shell town

luffy, aya, Koby and vido lay on the boat that brought them here, ilie behind them on the opposite side with vido laying at her side " I can't stop thinking about that fight" Koby said starting conversation

"That guy was amazing" aya admitted still thinking about what happened, how he not only protected her, the little girl and vido, and fought the marines, he made the guy apologise to her and the other two "And what's with the third sword" Luffy says "I mean, where does it even go?" He wondered, Koby on the other hand, shook his head in disbelief to what he heard "No He had to protect that little girl and Aya from the marines, who were supposed to be protecting them..." Aya frowned at how confused he was, his dream is to be a marine, and he just witnessed Something a marine shouldn't be doing "It doesn't make any sense..."

Aya sat up, Patting his shoulder "If there are good pirates and bad pirates, then there's gonna be good marines...and....Bad ones too...I should know" she spoke in a saddened tone "You'll be one of the good ones" luffy assured, then turned his head to look at the stars again

Koby stares up at the sky wondering about something he'd heard from rumours, and finally decided to pop a certain Question as he turned to the female "Why do the marines hate you so much?" He asked, she lowers her gaze, feeling bad about how he'd feel after hearing it "What did you do to make them want you dead?"

"Me existing" she replied Giving him a look "They hated the idea of a powerful being such as myself just existing" she explained "Even though, it was my past life is the reason the great calamity came to an end" she turned her head to hide the small tear that decided to slip out "But nobody expect they'd lie and try to change the story..." luffy pat her back sympathetically as vido whinnied sadly licking her hand, she smiled sadly rubbing the top of his head

Koby seemed conflicted by this response and lay his head on the sack he was using as a pillow "Maybe alvida was right..." he mumbled sadly "I don't know everything about the world..."

"But you were her prisoner" Luffy reminded "Yeah but I knew who I was..." Koby remarked "Now I have no idea..."

Aya felt bad for him " hey Koby" luffy spoke, but the kid was too infused in his sadness to hear the first time " Koby!" He finally snapped out of it and look towards luffy who sat up "We need to get into the base and find that map, and we could use some help"

Koby sat up in alarm to what he just said "You want me to help you steal from the marines?!" He exclaimed in disbelief

"No no no!" Aya protested immediately "Of course not! Neither of us ever force you to do that!" She assured "Just need help getting the boat ready, Can you do that?" She asked

He calms down and shrugs his shoulders a little "I guess so. What are you two gonna do?" He asked her confused

She already knew what she was gonna do, she hands vido over to luffy to hold "Well me, I'm gonna do what the avatars supposed to, and help someone like he did for me, and then, we'll go after the map" she declared, then gave luffy a high five
