You took in the sight of the grand library .there were tall long shelves from one corner to another with numerous books of varieties. Tables and chairs were here and there, some in  corners . Light seemed to come through big castle like windows ,there some sofas near the windows and tables.

You thought Who ever the libaren was had some good taste.

You slowly ,making sure not to make any noise walked towards the shelves peering at the books .

You walked deeper into the coner following the long trail of the shelve,
Not noticing a shadow trail behind you swiftly observing you .

A book caught your eye it was placed at the top higher than you so you got on your tip toes trying to reach the book stretching your hand out but still couldn't reach it so as quietly as you could you jumped slightly on your toes .right as you were about to grab it sand suddenly covered the books cover .

" who are you and why are you in the library?" Came a deep voice behind you . The was a shadow cast over your whole body making you freeze.

You quickly kept your hands up in a surrender position and slowly turned around ." ...so..sorry i was just looking around." You said giving a wary smile while meeting eyes with the man .

You were surprised to see the wanted crocodile with all his glory standing in front of you with his golden hook ,a ciger and sand near his feet.of course you didn't know this man but you knew his wanted poster and rumors.

He slowly walked towards you as you kept frozen in place ,he placed his hook on your cheek and dragged it down till your chin " what's a doll like you doing here ?"

" I was just looking around I thought it was okay to enter the library "you replied staring at him .

His mouth twitched ,eyes hardening
" I meant in this school"

" oh just here in favour of a friend " you said leaning back into the wall as his face was to close for comfort.

He swiftly backed away walking " follow me " he ordered.

You followed behind reaching a desk with some books and papers and a big chair. He went behind the desk standing there" i am crocodile the librarian of this library. "He said straying at you.

You stood in front of the desk rubbing your head " um...hi I'm y/n the new comer.nive library by the way" you said still glancing side to side gawking at the long shelves that stood horizontal both sides of his desk .

His lips quirked up in Smirk
Seeing you gawk at the shelves.
" why thank you miss y/n"

Your cheeks burned hearing him " oh please just call me y/n .Theres no need for miss"

He gave you a nod " than you call me crocodile "

"Okay " you said giving him bright smile .

You took out your paper frowning at the paper ."what is it ?" Crocodile asked curiously.

" I dont have any class anymore today..." you said looking g at him.

He seems to understand" your allowed to take whatever class you like from now for today"

"Oh " you said scratching your cheek.
"I dont know where to go, or where or what classes are here at the most" you said frowning.

Crocodile shuffled his papers while blowing out smoke.

" can I stay here for a while than?"
You asked

He stared at you " the library's free for everyone "

"Yeah your right so I can stay ?"

He sighed and nodded "sure,doll"
He said .his sand slowly rose to the desk and left something. Your peeked at it, to see the sand leaving the book you were trying to grab earlier .

" heres take the book and read it " he said towards the book.

You quickly grabbed the book ,and glanced around pointing at a corner in between the two shelves near the left ."I'll be there " you told him .

He nodded his head and you walked towards the coner setting down on a chair at the table and started reading soon when you were almost done reading the book ,crocodile sat besides you " I see you've finished reading the book if your interested I'm that kind I recommend you these books " he said his sand crawling on the table and leaving few books at the table .you closed the book " okay I'm done now let's see " you said scanning the books he recommended a particular book caught your eye.ot wasn't a book similar to the one you read but nevertheless it was an amazing book you read and liked.

You picked it up ,crocodile quickly took the book from you " this book  I'm not recommending I'm actually reading it " he said

You gave him a bright smile taking him off guard ." Really I read that book too ,i like it a lot. which part did you reach?" You asked him

He seemed shocked but coughed "  I already finished reading it ,I was rereading it " he said

After that the two of talked about the book a lot than about other books .crocodile and you had lots of books you two liked in common. Crocodile and you talked about Various books ,read new books ,and wven talked about other common things you both liked .

After a while crocodile got up from the chair " you better get going it's almost time for everyone to be in their dorms ."

You suddenly realized it was really late ,you had so much fun with him you forgot .you sheepishly got up.
His sand crawling back over all the books and taking them away.

You smiled at him " I'll go to my dorm now ,I hope you dont mind if I come again "

He shook his head " it's fine, the library's free to everyone, you can come" He said giving you a smirk.

You weaved leaving out the door.

Crocodile turned around taking puffs of his cigar with a smile .when suddenly he turned around to see you enter back in .he raised an eyebrow.

With a red face you mumbled
"Can you tell me the way to dorm number ### please "

He chuckled lowly making you turn even more red and gave you the directions .

You quickly turn around and dashed out the door yelling "bye "  going in the direction he told you.

He shook his head " no yelling in the library "he said  but you were already out the door.
