"Lilly no please!" Bloom begged as she realized she was cornered.

I laughed evilly and had a smug grin on my face. Nobody messes with me. I laughed onto my weapon and swung. She screamed and pretended to die.

"Lights! Slowly! Fading." She exclaimed dramatically with a hand over her forehead.

"Oh please.." I laughed and grabbed the pillow before swinging it again.

Bloom suddenly lunged and tackled me within seconds. I tried to get her off but she just made a weird chipmunk face at me.

"Bloom I will buy you food if you get off me." I said and she quickly leaped off of me.

"I want pizza!" She yelled and went to go get the girls.

I went to the freezer and grabbed a frozen pizza. I put it in the oven and set a timer so they would know when it was done. My mom came in just as I was about to leave.

"Hey, I'm going for a short bike ride with Pearl, okay?" I asked.

"Okay. Be back by sunset." She said and I left.

I put Pearl in the basket of my bike and rode off toward the park where I first saw the winx. I remembered how long ago that was and realized something. Alfea! I had hardly gone to any classes and the school year was almost over! Would I be able to pass?

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. Pearl looked at me with understanding eyes. I smiled at her and concentrated on the road. When I arrived at the park I rode toward the place I first saw the winx. I wonder-

"Look out!" Someone yelled.

"Huh?" I looked back and saw a boy right in front of me. I tried to break but the chains on my bike broke so I fell. But right as I fell off my bike and crashed into someone and something, I waved my hand, putting a protective force field around Pearl as she panicked.

I rubbed my head and sat up. Ouch. Well that was super duper. I sighed and saw that I had a cut on my leg too. Why did this happen to me? Can't I have some good luck once in a while? After all, I have saved the magic dimension a few times this year.

"Oh my gosh are you okay?" The boy asked as he sat up.

I didn't look up at him. I just tried to take my helmet off.

"I just hit you with my bike and your asking if I'm okay?" I laughed and took of my helmet, running a hand through my hair with closed eyes.

"Oh my gosh.." He trailed off as he looked at me.

"What?" I asked and opened my eyes. "Conner?"

"Hey!" He laughed and hugged me.

"Oh my gosh! I haven't seen you since freshman year in high school! I missed you!" I yelled and threw my arms around him.

"We'll my dad sent me to boarding school and I couldn't write you a letter because I forgot your address." Conner smiled. "But I missed you too. So how's my best friend doing?"

"Good. Errr..I met my birth parents and my sisters." I told him.

"Really? That's great! What are their names? Where do they live?" He asked.

"Umm..they live pretty far...and I'm kinda..living with them?" I told him and scratched the back of my neck.

"Oh. So you're just visiting town to see your parents for a few days and then going back?" He said sadly.

Well, I have to show everyone I'm a fairy first.

"Yeah. But I'm staying for a while!" I said.

"That's great! And where do you go to college?" He asked.

Shoot.

"It's really far, even farther than where my real parents live. But it's a great school." I said. " I go with my sisters and one of them is a teacher..."

"What's it called? I'm sure I've probably heard of it. Maybe I could look it up. And you never know, maybe if I like it I could change schools." He suggested.

Oh I know all right.

"Sorry, but it's an all girls school." I told him. "It's called Alfea."

"Alfea?" He asked with a weird expression but shook it off. "Never heard of it. Anyway, I have an idea. Why don't you bring your sisters to meet up with me and some of my friends. It'll be fun."

"Uhh..okay. Why not?" I smiled. I took out my phone.

"What's your number?" I asked and looked up.

His jaw was dropped and his eyes were locked on my phone.

"Where did you get that phone?" He asked.

And once again I went into panic mode.

"Oh this old thing? I got it a while ago. It's an old model. They don't have it in stores anymore." I lied.

Surprisingly, he believed it.

"Okay." He shrugged and gave me his number, before helping me with my bike.

I smiled and left with Pearl and my bike.

I walked in the door to see the winx all lying on couches, slouching on chairs, panting on the floor or huddling around a fan. I raised an eyebrow at them.

"Did I miss something?" I asked and put Pearl down.

"Uhh apparently!" Stella shouted. "It's like a hundred degrees out. The hottest day of the year!"

I laughed. "I guess I've adapted to the heat. It's better than ice. Anyway, we are going out!"

They all jumped up.

"Yay! Can the boys come?" Stella asked.

"Of course. I met an old friend today in the park. He invited us all out." I said happily.

My phone buzzed. It was a text from Conner.

Hey. Just telling you where to go tonight. It a place out of town called the Fruity Music Bar. They serve smoothies and stuff. It's in Gardenia. See you there. -Conner

"Girls put something nice on! We're going to a place in Gardenia." I yelled as I ran up the stairs.

They all poked their heads out from the doors of their rooms. "Where in Gardenia?!"

"Somewhere called the fruity Music Bar." I told them.

They all squealed and looked at each other before going back into their rooms briefly and emerging with really cute outfits. They all had blue and white stripped jean shorts, different colored shirts, navy blue and white stripped vests, and blue hats. (A/n the outfits are on he cover of my last book) Bloom's shirt was blue, Stella's orange, Tecna's purple, Aisha's white, Flora's was green, and Musa's was magenta. Stella waved her hand and I was in the same outfit with a pink shirt.

"Matching outfits?" I laughed.

"It's the official winx club band outfit." Stella said smugly. "We used to perform at the Fruity Music Bar. And tonight we shall once more!"

I laughed.

"Okay, did you call the boys?" I asked.

"Yes. They said they'll meet us there. Now lets go!" Bloom said and pulled me down the stairs.

We went into the living room.

"Why are we here?" I asked."Are we gonna fly there?"

"Yup!" Aisha said. "The people in Gardenia know about fairies. If they see us, they'll recognize us."

"But what about Conner and his friends?" I asked. "They don't know and I'm not ready to use my Believix powers yet."

"That's okay. Everyone in Gardenia assume that all people have heard of fairies by now, so if we don't let then see us in fairy form we're good to go." Stella said with a bright smile.

"Winx Believeix!" I shouted and became weightless as I transformed.

I landed on the ground and flew out the window with Pearl in my arms. It felt good to be back in the air with the wind blowing through my hair. Bloom led the way to our destination and I smiled when I saw a big city. It was beautiful. Bloom pointed out where she used to live with her Earth parents.

We landed at a big place on the beach. It was beautiful! We walked inside and were greeted by a few people. I followed bloom up to the counter where a man was making smoothies. Bloom hot his attention and he smiled he was about to say something when-

"WINX!"

I turned around and saw Roxy speeding toward us she nearly tackled me and bloom.

"Hey Roxy." We all said.

"Are you girls here for a visit?" Roxy's dad asked.

"Yeah. We were hoping we could preform with our new lead singer." Musa said and smiled.

"Of course you can! I think we still have your instruments behind the curtain. You can go on whenever." He said and waved us off.

I talked to Roxy on our way to the stage. She told me about Alfea and all the classes I missed. I was really starting to stress out about that. I probably would have to make up all the homework next school year. When we got there she went to go serve the rest of the drinks to customers. The girls gathered their instruments as I just stood there.

Musa smiled an walked over to me with a microphone. "Is something wrong?"

"I'm fine." I sighed. "I just am worried about school and stress and being a princess and stuff."

"I would suggest you talk to Bloom about that but she wasn't a princess while we were first in school. And Stella was never caught up in her school work. Somehow, everything seemed to work out for her." She said with a half smile. "But don't worry. Everything will be fine."

"Thanks Musa." I said.

"You're welcome. Now take this and stand on that 'x'." She said and I took the microphone.

I stood directly behind the curtain and realized something. "Wait! What song am I singing?!"

The curtain went up and I gulped. Oh no. The crowd cheered and I saw the boys walk in. Mathew saw me and smiled. He waved and I waved back.

"Don't worry." Musa said and the lyrics and melody of the song appeared in front of me and nobody but Musa and I could see them.

I finished and smiled at the cheering crowd. I saw Conner and gave him a grin. I also saw Mathew and waved to him. When I hoped down from the stage I was tackled by Mathew.

"Hey." I said and hugged him without opening my eyes.

"Lilly?" Mathew asked.

"Yeah?" I said.

"Who's that guy?" He said, angrily.

I opened my eyes and saw that I was hugging Conner.

"Conner?" I asked and backed away from him. "Why did you basically tackle me?"

"Because I tripped and I was going to hug you so..." He trailed off with a laugh.

The winx laughed at his awkwardness and mine and went to go see the boys.

"Oh, this is Conner." I said to Mathew.

"Who's this?" Conner asked.

"I'm her boyfriend, Mathew." Matt said, defensively sanding in front of me.

"Good for you." Conner said and rolled his eyes. "I know you like strawberry smoothies, Lilly, so I ordered you one."

Mathew frowned and wrapped an arm around my waist.

"Uh thanks Conner. Just give us a minute?" I asked and he nodded.

"Who is that guy?" Matt asked. "Why does he know your favorite smoothie?"

"That's Conner." I told him. "He was my best friend when I lived on Earth so he knows a lot about me."

"It seems like he wants to be more than friends." He said.

"It's not like that, Mathew." I said with an annoyed tone. "Why are you getting all defensive? He's my best friend besides the girls and I can talk to him if I want to. You can come if you want."

I walked over to the table where Conner and his friends were sitting. I saw Daphne come in the entrance and she waved to me. Did Bloom invite her? Whatever. I motioned for her to come sit with me. She grabbed Bloom away from looking for Sky and pulled her over to the table. They sat and I introduced them to Conner and his three friends.

"Conner, these are my sisters, Bloom an Daphne." I said.

"Hello." Daphne greeted.

"Hi." Bloom said.

"These are my friends Jack, Ryan, and Charlie." Conner said and the boys said hi.

Stella joined us and bloom introduced her. Ryan seemed to catch her eye, he caught mine to. I mean, he was handsome, but other than that he really didn't have much going for him. We all conversed with each other until Sky, Brandon, Thorin, and Mathew came over to the table angrily.

Each of the boys found an excuse to drag their girlfriend temporarily away from the table.

"Lilly, can we talk outside?" He asked angrily.

"Were having a conversation here." Ryan said.

"I couldn't care less." Mathew said and pulled me gently from the table.

"Mathew what the heck!" I shouted when he pulled me into the parking lot.

"Do you like him?" He yelled.

"What? No! He's just my friend! And that was really rude to him and me!" I yelled back.

"Lilly, that guy is bad news. He doesn't want to just be friends, trust me. And I'm starting to think that maybe you're getting feelings for him!"

"Mathew that's crazy! You need to calm down!"

"Maybe this isn't right." He finally said.

"Maybe what isn't right?" I asked.

"Maybe..maybe we aren't right." He said.

I gasped and backed up.

"Are- are you breaking up with me?" I asked.

He nodded and walked away with his hands in his pockets. I fell to the pavement and burst into sobs. There was a collection of gasps and the pounding of footsteps. I soon was being helped up by my sisters and the girls. The boys watched with gaping jaws from the doorway to the Fruity Music Bar.

With a few words, my world fell apart...
