Chapter 7

2 hours before people think Lilly is dead

Lilly's POV: I was woken by the cold. I was freezing. Why was it cold? I really don't remember what had happened. I moved to try and sit up. Oh no. My head was spinning. I groaned as I saw everything moving while I didn't.

Finally it stopped. There was snow everywhere. My memory was still fuzzy but I had a feeling who had done this. Icy! I rushed to my feet. I needed to get home. I jumped into the air, suddenly I felt myself falling back to the ice covered, ground.

"What the heck?" I turned my head to get a look at my wings. "Oh no!"

They were frozen stiff.

"Melting Flame."

My wings sparkled again with all the ice gone from them.

"Lilly..."

I jumped to my feet and backward. Mathew emerged from behind a tree. He stepped cautiously to me, as if he was confirming I wouldn't spell him.

"Mathew," I closed my eyes, I couldn't take more heartbreak, "Don't come any closer!"

He stopped for a moment then returned to walking until he was in front of me. I closed my eyes. I felt his hand on my chin as he gently pushed it up so I looked him in the eyes.

"Lilly I love you. That girl in the courtyard is Princess Jamie of Melody. My parents were forcing me to marry her but when I told them I was madly in love..."

I opened my eyes and looked into his. Those perfect green eyes that killed me. My heart was pierced with a magic nobody could destroy.

"Who do you love Mathew?"

"You Lilly."

"I love you too!"

I put my arms around his neck and kissed him. Then my memory came back.

"Oh no! My parents!"

Mathew looked confused but he knew the trix had something to do with it.

"Lilly, fly there I'll take Rose."

I nodded and flew as fast as possible to the castle. I was getting tired. I wasn't weak anymore. I was strong, I was loved, I was powerful. I flew over the wall of the palace and spotted my parents and the winx.

"What happened here?"

They turned from crying, dazed.

"Lilly!"

I flew down to them. I had a bunch of hugs. We all stopped hugging and I heard the sound of horse shoes. Mathew came through the gate riding Rose. I flew to him and transformed back to normal.

"Good evening your highness,"Mathew said. He helped me onto the back of Rose. I blew a kiss to my parents and the giggling winx.

We sped off. I held onto Mathew and closed my eyes. As we rode over the large, narrow bridge a rain of flower pedals fell over us. I turned and saw the winx casting spells over us. I guessed it was Flora's turn. Then we saw a beautiful sun set...Stella. Then a map of where we were going appeared in my hand...Techna. Then the waves acted in a beautiful way, reflecting the sun...Aisa. Then a beautiful melody surrounded us...Musa. Finally a big, fiery dragon spun around us. Bloom...

...

I got out of bed. Yesterday was the best day of my life. (FLASHBACK)

After the winx had surrounded us with amazing spells, we opened the map and it led us to a garden on a cliff. A blanket was laid out on the grass and we watched the sunset.

(FLASHBACK OVER) Now we were going back to Alfea. I grabbed my bags and went to the ballroom. All the winx were already there. So were my parents. My mother winked at me and cast a spell. The next thing I know we are at the front gate of Alfea. We went through the gate. All the people came rushing toward us.

"Bloom can I have your autograph?"

"Stella your our favorite winx!"

"Musa can we get a picture?"

"Techna how did you find the Sirenix book?"

"Flora what's it like to be a Sirenix fairy?"

"Aisa we love your moves!"

"Lilly don't you love being a princess?"

"Wow," I said, "I had no idea I was so popular."

We signed some autographs and took some pictures. Awesome.

Just when I start walking, Grazelda comes running to me.

"Lilly. Miss Faragonda needs to see you."

Before I cold answer, she was dragging me to the headmistress office. I sat down at the desk.

"Hello Lilly," said Miss F, "I'm gold to see your back."

"What's wrong Miss Faragonda?"

"Your powers are unstable Lilly. It is extremely dangerous when you use them."

I was shocked. My powers had seemed perfect to me.

"What can I do?"

"You have to earn Charmix, Enchantix, Believix, Harmonix and Full Sirenix. If you do not you could lose your powers forever." She sighed. "Now. I'm going to show you how Bloom got Charmix. This will show you how to get it. It also will take your Sirenix powers, you must earn Charmix."

"Ok."

I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.
