Chapter 5
Lilly's POV: I went out to the stables. I kicked the door open and hopped on Rose.
"Come on girl!"
We sped away from the stables. Oh no, the palace gates were closed. Time to practice magic. I waved my hand and the gates flew open. We crossed the bridge and went through the village. When we finally slowed down we were at a pond with a much smaller bridge. I got off Rose and found a flower sitting on the stone.
I looked up at the sky.
"Oh Mathew. Why did you kiss that girl? I'm so confused. I..I need you."
A small crystal tear fell from my cheek to the water.
Suddenly I heard a struggling from Rose.
"Rose? Rose what's wrong?"
I grabbed the reins and tried to calm her down. It was getting so cold. It never was cold here! Then I heard laughter behind me. I knew that laugh, I had heard it twice before. I turned and saw the trix.
"Trix!" Suddenly I felt weak. "Leave me alone!"
"Sorry Lilly," said Icy, "I'm not gonna do that. You see, we don't like it when little fairies mess up our plans. You already learned we can cause heartbreak, sadness and torture."
"What do you mean?"
"We meant for you to see what you saw at the party. Mathew doesn't love that girl. His father is forcing him to marry her."
I gasped. No!
"You evil witches! You may mess with my heart but no one should be allowed to mess with fire!" I prepared my stance and shouted, "Winx Sirenix!"

I feel the power of the ocean
Connected with the deepest part of me
Sirenix underwater motion
Now suddenly I'm soaring
Through the sea
It's a rush of wonders
I can fly
Swimming deep down under
