Chapter 4
Lilly's POV: I heard a knock on the door. The girls had already left for Red Fountain. I wasn't going to go with them anyway. I couldn't be around Mathew.
I dragged myself out of bed and went to the door in my pajamas. When I opened it there stood Mrs. Grazelda.
"Lilly," she said, looking down at a clipboard, "you haven't been to class in 3 days! You have 5 minutes to expla-"
She had looked up and saw my puffy eyes, my sweaty hands and shoulders and me. I was in my sweat-covered pajamas.
"Dear! Are you sick? Get dressed and go see the nurse I-"
"No!"
I really didn't need the nurse telling me I was insane. I already know that. Mrs. Grazelda gave me a strange look.
"If it's alright," I said, "I would like to speak to Mrs. Faragonda instead."
She nodded and left. I went back to my room and got dressed. When I was done I went to Mrs. Faragonda's office. After three knocks I heard a voice say, "Come in."
I went in and closed the door behind me. Mrs. Faragonda was at her desk waiting for me.
"Lilly, Grazelda told me about what she saw this morning. Are you sick?"
"Well...more or less."
"Ahhhh. I understand now. It is a broken heart isn't it?"
I nodded, looking at the floor.
"Is there any way I can help?"
I hesitated. What if Mathew still loves me? No. He loves that other girl.
"Mrs. F," a tear fell down my cheek, "I think I need some time at home. Away from Alfea."
She stood up.
"Lilly you may do as you choose. Go home temporarily or stay here."
"Yes miss."
I left the office and back to the dorm. Time to start packing.

Bloom's POV: Sky and the boys took us back to Alfea. I needed to tell Lilly what happened she would understand. I completely understand. I remember when Sky's father forced him to marry Diaspro. Sky refused. But now Mathew's father was dying and his son needed to marry Princess Jamie.
"She's also really annoying" said Musa talking about Jamie.
By the sound of it, her parents were nice but she was a horror. Seemed to fit a princess who has everything. I opened the door to the dorm and ran into Lilly's room.
"Lilly! Mathew isn't in love with-!"
Lilly was gone, her bags were gone and Pearl was gone.

Lilly's POV: I went into Magix. Peal was at my side. Maybe I shouldn't tell my parents about Mathew. They'd probably freak.
I was on Sparks in a flash. Did I make the right decision? Oh no. I took out my phone to call my parents.
"Hello?"
"Hi mom it's Lilly."
"Lilly is everything ok?"
"No. I'll tell you when I get back to the castle. Can you send the carriage?"
"Yes," said my mother, worry in her voice, "the carriage will be there soon."
I waited in the village for them. Everyone was happy and joyful. It really was a bust on my mood. I just... needed sad things. The carriage pulled up and I hopped on. When we arrived at the castle my mother ran out.
"Honey? Honey what's wrong?"
I could fell the moisture coming out of my eyes.
"Mom!"
I embraced my mother, crying without stopping. She took me to my room and I went to bed.
When I woke I was still in my clothes. I groaned. Maybe i'll skip breakfast to avoid explaining. I put on a casual outfit and went to the stables.
