"Oh look." Icy smirked. "The fairy can't fly."

"Why don't we summon our ancestors power and make that permanent?" Darcy laughed.

"I like that idea." Stormy said.

"Yes!" Icy shouted and they all stepped closer.

"Ancestral witches!" They all summoned.

I tried to get up but I was so very weak. Then, Mathew came running out of the palace.

"No!" He shouted.

"Hey I have a better idea." Stormy chuckled. "Lets finish the boyfriend. Permanently."

They all smiled. I looked at Mathew and her was starting to charge at them.

"No Mathew!" I yelled and fluttered my injured wing.

"By the power of the ancestral witches, I use this spell to freeze you eternally!" Icy laughed and aimed at Mathew.

He kept charging.

"Mathew run!" I yelled.

"I love you Lilly." He said and I understood.

He knew that if he didn't do this, they would use the spell on me. But the dragon flame could save me right? Maybe not against the ancient power...
But I had to take that chance.

I fluttered my wing once more and flew to him.

"I love you more," I whispered and darted in front of him.

I went numb.I was cold and couldn't move. I was frozen. Forever. The witches laughed. Mathew's eyes were wide.

"Come on sisters. Lets go." Icy said and they were gone.

I saw Crystal move from the corner of my eye. She looked up and laughed.

"We got them good Lilly." She laughed and then she noticed I wasn't next to her. "Lilly?" She looked around and saw me. She gasped and flew to me.

"Lilly." She cried.

Did they think I was dead? What? My eyes were open. I guess people die with their eyes open sometimes. I've never seen someone die so I wouldn't know. The queen ran out and saw her children grieving around an ice formation that had a frozen fairy inside.

"We'll have to tell her family..." She said sadly.

Yup, they thought I was dead. Wait what happened to Melissa? As if someone answered my thoughts, Melissa came running toward my ice sculpture.

"Oh my gosh. Is she...?" She trailed off. They nodded.

"Oh no!" She cried. Since when does Melissa care? "I was so mean to her in school!"

Oh. Uhhhh..? Mathew was just silent.

"Mathew?" Crystal asked and tried to put her hand on his shoulder but he pushed it away and stormed off.

I got sad. If I died I wouldn't want him to push people away. I would just want him to move on and enjoy his life. This isn't how it was gonna be! Come on Lilly! You can do it! The dragon flame is stronger than evil.

No! It wasn't working. Anger flared inside me, and suddenly, the ice broke into a million tiny peices and I fell to the floor.

"Oh my gosh!!!" Melissa yelled and Mathew turned around.

When he saw me he ran to me and started shouting. "Is she breathing?!"

He kneeled down and pulled me into his arms. I coughed and took a deep breath. He let out a shaky breath in relief.

"Lilly." He said and pulled me closer to him.

"Mathew." I said and pulled his face to mine.

He kissed me and helped me up. Then Crystal jumped on me.

"Lilly you scared me to death!" She yelled and I laughed.

"Darling. I'm so happy you're alright." The queen said.

"Thank you." I said.

I transformed back into my normal self and Melissa hugged me.

"Lilly. I'm so sorry I was mean to you all those years! I was just jealous!" She yelled.

"It's fine." I said, suddenly feeling weak. That must've taken a lot of my power.

"I don't want to be rude, but I'm feeling a bit weak and I think it would be best if I went back to Domino." I said.

"Of course." The queen said and opened a portal for me.

"Thank you." I said and turned to Mathew. I hugged him. "Bye."

"Bye." He said and I stepped in the portal.

When I saw the familiar warm land of my home planet I felt safer. I let out the shaky breath that I'd been holding in and walked in the direction of the palace. But as soon as my foot touched the ground, ice spread across the bridge, froze the small pond, and killed all the plants. What?

Why was this happening? I looked around for signs of the Trix but they weren't there. I took another step and more ice spread. It started to snow as my fear grew. Was I doing this? How? Feeling lightheaded, I backed up against the tree and I felt coldness spreading up the bark. I looked back and the entire tree was frozen.

Ice is dangerous for Domino! I needed to leave. Now.

Bloom's POV

"You should have seen her face!" Stella laughed as she took another bite of pizza.

"I know Stella. We were there, remember?" Tecna reminded her and Stella pouted.

"I was only refreshing your memories." She defended.

"Oh sure you were." I said sarcastically.

My phone beeped and I answered it while the girls kept talking.

(B=Bloom Q=Queen=Bloom, Lilly, Daphne's mom)

B- Hello?
Q- Bloom! We need you home! Something terrible's happened!
B-What is it mom?
Q- The guards were on patrol and found a part of our kingdom frozen solid. We can't melt it. Not even the dragon flame can melt it. It's beyond our magic. It's-
B- The ancestral witches!
Q- But they're dead. And the Trix could never do this. They aren't powerful enough.
B- Okay. We'll get Lilly and be right there.
Q- Hurry.

And I hung up.

"Girls! We need to get to Domino!" I said and we all sped out of the shop.

We stopped in an alleyway and got into our stance. "WINX BLOOMIX!"

We transformed and transported ourselves to Linfea to get Lilly. When we got onto the palace grounds, I dashed to the entrance. A butler ran to get Mathew.

"Winx. What can I do for you?" He asked.

"We need Lilly." I said.

"Lilly went him an hour ago." He said and I froze.

"But she's not there. My mother would've noticed!" I panicked.

The girls stared at me nervously.

"Oh no." He said. "I need to find her. Lets go."

And we transported ourselves to Domino. When we arrived all I could see was ice. Ice and snow. There was a full- on blizzard going on. Oh no. Snow can kill the planet!

"Girls we need to fly through this!" I said.

"Bloom we can't, its too cold. We'll die before we make it halfway to the palace!" Tecna said.

"Then what do we do?!" I freaked out.

"Take these!" Someone shouted and winter coats landed in the snow near us.

We all took one and Mathew looked distressed and pained. Stella was trying to comfort him but all he needed was Lilly. I knew the feeling.

The mystery person stepped near us and I saw it to be a butler from the palace. What was his name? Oh yeah, Primsworth!

"Come with me!" He said and led us to a carriage.

We went inside and shivered it was warmer in here but it was still freezing. He had on enchanted clothing so he probably was okay to be driving the carriage.

"What do you think will happen to Domino?" Flora asked. "It can't freeze again. Can it?"

"I don't know." I state and looked out at the frozen- blue sky? "What?"

I was suddenly warm and cozy and sweating. How...??? Only a part of the planet was frozen and hopefully it wasn't spreading.

"Bloom!" Daphne yelled as she ran to me. She embraced me in a tight hug and spoke. "What do you think caused this?"

"I don't know. It could be a new threat to all of us. Like Tritanus." I said.

"Yeah. Anyway, all the kings from the kingdoms are here. Sky is with his father." She said.

"Can I see him?" I asked.

"No. Sorry. Only kings and our parents are in there." She said.

"But Sky's not technically a king." I said.

"He will be, one day." She told me.

Lilly POV *an hour earlier*

I needed somewhere to go. From the simulator test, I remembered Professor WizGiz talking about dead planets. One was called Arlity.

"Arlity is a dead planet. A once beautiful nature-filled place is now cold and full of ice. People who have tried to survive there all failed. They died of cold and it is impossible unless you are an ice witch." I recalled him saying.

Well I had to go somewhere. I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, and transported myself to Arlity. When I opened my eyes once again, I was standing on a flat of ice. I know I should be cold now but I'm not. I actually feel happy. This is the one place I can't hurt my family, friends, or planet.

I took a step in the ice and a beautiful ice pattern spread across the ice I was standing on. (A/N I KNOW THIS SOUNDS A LOT LIKE DISNEY's NEWEST ANIMATED FILM CALLED FROZEN BUT TRUST ME ITS NOT)

I laughed and took another step. Beautiful snowflake patterns erupted below my feet as I danced with myself on the ice. I waved my arms and a beautiful staircase of ice appeared. I ran up the stairs and saw a platform forming at the end of it. I reached the platform and walls formed perfectly. I reached my hand up and a beautiful crystal chandelier spread.

I giggled and spun around with my arms outstretched. I stopped and smiled. Suddenly, I saw my reflection in a wall and gasped. My once red hair, was blonde. And I had been wearing no make up, yet my eyelids had purple eyeshadow. I felt my face, and surely the girl in the mirror did too. I was no longer Princess Lilly of Domino. I wasn't the girlfriend Mathew's father disapproved of. I wasn't an Earth girl either.

Finally my quick thinking earned me a new transformation.This must be Bloomix! Blue. My outfit was blue and my wings were blue. That ice must've done this to me! I've completely changed.

And it hit me. I'm not that girl anymore...

I'm an ice fairy.
