"Hey, Bruno!" 

Valentina Cortes, the quietest girl in the town, ran quickly up to her new friend Bruno Madrigal with a wide smile on her face. She hugged him tightly as he stood awkwardly in place. Both of them had similar ages, but Bruno was at least 5 or 6 years older than Valentina, making Bruno 16 and Valentina 11.

"H-hi, Valentina..." Bruno nervously stammered as she drew away from him. Bruno had always been a nervous kid, but he was especially nervous around Valentina.

"So, how are you? What brings you out today?" 

"I'm good, just out for a walk before giving mi familia another vision..."

"Oh, ok! Well I hope it goes well! Your last vision wasn't exactly positive..."

"I know, but I'm hopeful this time!"

Valentina smiled, and hugged Bruno again.

"Well, whatever happens, please be careful. I don't wanna lose my best friend..."

"I will be, thanks..."

Valentina drew away from the hug, and said goodbye quickly before running off to the nearby flower shop, where her grandma worked. Bruno watched her run away, and blushed, muttered under his breath as he walked back to Casita. He knew what was going on, what his feelings were, but he decided it was best to keep it all secret until he knew when it was right...
