'Mr.Malhotra wants you in his office now.' She said with pure disgust in her eyes as if seeing me made her feel disgust.

My heart started racing at full speed. I didn't want to face him after what happened yesterday. I didn't know what he had in mind for me now.

I stood up and walked towards Manik's cabin taking short steps and walking slowly. I wish I could be invisible at the moment. But that's like saying "If wishes were horses".

I knocked on the door to his cabin.

'Come in.'
came his husky voice.

I slowly entered the cabin, not wanting to look up at his face.

'Miss Murthy, these are the files that contain the details of all the new clients we've got in the past two months. There are thirty files and each file contains details of 25 clients.

I want you to enter all these details in an excel sheet on your computer and send it to me as a PDF file. And you won't leave the office today unless you complete this work today.' He said, smirking.

I looked at him in astonishment. He couldn't be serious about this. Each of those files were actually supposed to be given to each employee but here, he was giving all of it to me. Maybe he was taking out his anger on me because of what happened last night.

'I hope you won't disappoint me, Miss Murthy.' He said.
'N..no sir.'

I said and took the files in my hand. It was too much for me to carry but I somehow managed to take it. For a moment, I expected him to come and help but then I mentally slapped my forehead at my imbecile thought. Maybe the word "chivalry" wasn't there in his dictionary.

As I exited his cabin, holding the files in my hand, I couldn't see anything in front of me. The files had formed a building that was taller than me as I held it in my hand.

I could feel everyone's eyes on me and their surprised whispers. I was certain that I wouldn't finish this work until 11 pm or maybe it would go beyond that. I sent a message to my brother telling him that I would be late to home today.

Phew! It was going to be a long day.

It was 5pm and all the employees were leaving after their duty. The only ones left in the office were Manik, Nandini and Inaya. Nandini was only halfway through the files, meaning that she had just finished her 15th file and there were 15 more to go.
Whereas in the cabin, Manik was waiting for Inaya to show up. She entered his cabin with her blushing cheeks.

'Sir, Miss Murthy is still out there.' She said which sounded more like a question.

'I know. But she won't intrude in our session.'

Manik said, smirking.

He wanted to fuck Inaya and wanted her to scream in ecstasy and wanted Nandini to hear it and feel jealous as hell. This was his plan. He knew Nandini still had feelings for him and he knew that somewhere he had feelings for her too but his revenge mattered more to him now. He wanted her to repent for betraying him.
