Yukis pov

~Later that day around 9:00~

Kisshu and I eventually made it back to the house. We did walk around quite a bit and ran into Ichigo and ayoama. After a while once we left those two we ran into Pudding and her siblings. I was quite impressed by how she was able to take care of them all especially without her parents around. Ichigo told me what had happened and I felt sympathy and a connection since Ichiru was doing the same thing by taking care of Yui and myself. One of her siblings started a snowball fight so we joined in. It felt like it lasted for hours, but we had fun indeed. After Kisshu watched for a while he eventually joined in on the fun.

"That snowball fight felt like a way of fighting." Kisshu mentioned knocking me out of my daze with his voice.

"How?"

"You throw practically soft ice at each other."

"It's suppose to be fun Kisshu." I chuckled at him.

"Still, when you fight you still throw things."

"Well..that's true..on some occasions."

Walking into the living room I stomped my feet on the rug by the front door. Feeling around I felt for a lamp and turned it on once I found it. The snow fell off my shoes with ease and began melting on the rug due to the warmer temperature in the room. The snow left wet stains getting bigger and bigger on the  rug as more snow fell on it. I took my jacket off and put the rest of my winter clothes away. Kisshu followed my lead doing the same thing. Going into the kitchen I turned on the kitchen light. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed a note left on the kitchen counter. Raising an eyebrow I walked over to it and picked it up. My eyes began reading over Ichiru's note he had left.

'Yuki and Kisshu,

Yui and I came home around 7:00. I wasn't sure if you or Kisshu ate, but I left the leftovers of dinner in the fridge for the two of you. I have to work at 5:00 since I got a call from work. Yui has already showered and will be in bed probably before you get home. Don't make to much noise. Love you.

Ichiru'

"Kisshu hungry?"

"Sure am."

I walked to the fridge and noticed a container on one of the shelves. Pulling it out I noticed there was some spaghetti in it.  Taking the lid off the container I put it in the microwave to heat up. Trying to be quiet as I could I got two plates out for Kisshu and I.

"So what are we having?"

"Spaghetti."

"Oh I remember having that!"

"Well it is what we are having for dinner."

The timer on the microwave went off and I quickly opened it to stop the loud noise.  Serving myself and Kisshu we both ate at the table quietly. Both of us were tired and wanted to get to bed as soon as we could.  After finishing our dinner and changing Kisshu and I gathered under my blankets and cuddled up with one another to try and get warmed up. The heater could be heard throughout the house and was still slowly warming it up.

"Goodnight Kisshu."

Closing my eyes I could hear Kisshu whisper back to me.

"Goodnight Yuki."

Still hearing him say my name sent butterflies in my stomach. My chest felt swelled up with warmth and love. Hearing his breathing begin to stabilize getting slow and deep I knew he was already asleep. Smiling to myself I too fell asleep and nuzzled up to his chest.

I ended up waking up after a while. My brain was still asleep as I rolled over to look at the clock on the nightstand next to my bed. Pressing on the button for the light to come on I groaned at the brightness. Rubbing my eyes  I squinted my eyes at it and my eyes slowly adjusted.

'3:26..'

I found out why I had woken up. My bladder told me it needed to be empty. Groaning still I tried to go back to sleep even with a full bladder. However, it wouldn't have that. Reluctantly I got up and went to the bathroom. Turning on the light I groaned and covered my eyes with my hands and rubbing them again they slowly adjusted to the light, however I still squinted.  After I got done using it I of course went to the sink to wash my hands. Turning on the water and getting soap on I looked in the mirror to look at my face. As I looked at the bags that appeared under my eyes I saw Ace appear behind me. My adrenaline shot up instantly and I pulled back away from the sink. Shaking my head I splashed water on my face and looked back into the mirror to see him gone. Sighing in relief and yawned.

"Must..be more tired than I figured."

Turning off the water I dried my hands and turned around to reach for the handle on the bathroom door however ran into something. I looked up from drying my hands to see if it was the wall however, this wasn't a thing but a person. Once my gaze reached the face I realized it was Ace. Gasping i dropped the rag and backed up, but right as I did I was grabbed by my wrists and pushed against the wall.

"Surprised to see me snowflake?" He said quietly.

"What are you doing here?!" I whispered loudly.

"Seeing you of course."

"Well I don't want to see you so go away!"

"Do you think I'll listen to you?"

"You should before Kisshu gets in here."

"Oh? Then cause a fight that wakes up Ichiru and Yui? Do we want that? Poor Ichiru working so hard to support you and her. Now has to support an alien sleeping with his sister. Do we really want him to lose an hour of sleep?"

"Tch..Stop making it sound like I'm a slut. Kisshu and I haven't done anythning so saying he is sleeping with me that way is outrageous."

"But it's true, and I wasn't even putting it that way dirty girl~"

"I-I am not!"

"Says the pervert."

"I am not a pervert!"

Ace was clearly getting amused by me being flustered. Yet I knew he wasn't here just to tease me.

"Why are you here..There has to be more of a reason than what you're doing right now."

"Oh there is."

His face got much closer as his body pressed against mine. I could feel the heat from his breath as he breathed on my face. My arms were moved from the side of my face to over my head and pinned there. I tried to pull away with what strength I could muster, but failed. A finger pressed against the top of my chest where my crystal would have been, but it wasnt since I felt the tip of his finger. His gaze traveled from my face as he pulled away and rested to where his finger had touched.

"Seems to have resided in you once again..Probably sensed danger. Quite a smart stone isn't it..Usually living things can sense danger..not an inanimate object."

"..."

I watched Ace carefully as I struggled against his grip. His red eyes shifted up to my face meeting my own violet eyes. Glaring at him his facial expression didn't change. A smirk only formed on his lips as I felt the weight of his finger off where he had it. The weight was replaced on my chin as he cupped it making me look at him.

"You know..from the first time I met you..until now..your..presence has changed..As if you have began to mature from the inside out..Like how a rose begins to bud and slowly over time blossoms into a full, mature flower. It's petals delicate and fragile like your body. The thorns attached to the stem to prick those who pick the flower...like how your teeth and nails sharpening to a point to do damage to your enemies when you transform... The smell it gives off alluring those who enjoy it. Much like your aura and charm you lure in people who soon begin becoming attached..wanting you..staying near you..they want to be with you..to touch..to talk..to laugh..Yes my Yuki you are definitely like a rose..in so many ways..however..I think it is something else that is changing your aura..I do remember that fight..when your power increased that was the moment I sensed a change.."

As he spoke his face got closer and closer to mine. I kept a brave face on as I continued to glare at the cocky alien. His smirk remaining as he was only inches away. I closed my eyes, my muscles tensed, and my heart rate increased. His hot breath tickled my ear as he pressed his cheek against mine.

" I think you have a deeper connection with this stone your father gave you than you thought..and I will find out just what it is..I will find out how exactly your power has increased..Just you wait."

With those last words he teleported away the sudden weight lifted off of me. Inhaling deeply I began sliding down the wall. My heart was still beating quickly at the sudden encounter. Putting a hand on my chest I got up leaning against the wall.

'That bastard..he was teasing me..trying to mess with my head..'

After turning off the light in the bathroom I got back into bed with Kisshu and cuddled up to him.

'A deeper connection..? What did he mean by that..'

Closing my eyes the words echoed in my mind. It made me curious, but than I didn't want to think about it. With that I eventually fell back asleep. My body relaxing as well as my mind.

~The next morning~

The snow continued to fall in Tokyo covering the ground in a thick white blanket. The light shined against the curtains and went through lighting her bedroom. Opening my eyes the light burned so I closed them again. Letting out a loud yawn I felt my body slowly waking up from its numb state. There was a weight across my collarbone. Turning my head to the left I opened my eyes slightly squinting. I noticed the weight was Kisshu's arm. He was still sleeping next to me his breathing slow and deep. Slowly a smile formed on my lips as I gazed over his sleeping face.

'I wonder if he ever thinks about his family..I'm sure he misses them..'

I couldn't even comprehend how he must feel. It's hard enough being away from my father.

' I couldn't imagine my sister or brother gone too. Being alone..no one there to care for you..to talk too..'

Who knows how far away he was from his planet. The planet he was supposed to save..to bring his people hope back with him. My chest began feeling heavy, and saddened as I thought about his situation and asked myself more questions. Lifting my arm up I put my hand on his that was dangling off my shoulder. Closing my eyes I sighed deeply trying to erase the questions building in my mind. I squeezed his hand slightly and turned my head back toward him. I opened my eyes to see if he had felt that. He didn't move. He remained in the same state as he was in a deep sleep. The stone was underneath his arm and I felt it against my pale skin.

"Kisshu." I whispered to his sleeping face.

Nothing.

"Kisshu."

Still nothing.

"Kissshhuu!" I shouted at him.

I rose an eyebrow at him as that didn't even faze him. His breathing still steady and deep. However, after a moment I watched his relaxed face begin to move. A small smile formed on his lips and his eyebrows rose as an amused expression appeared. I pouted seeing how he was trying to see if I would panic if he didn't respond.

"Yes?" He snickered.

"Don't ignore me when I talk to you okay?"

"Why?"

"It's considered rude."

"I call it teasing."

Shaking my head I merely sighed and got up.

"Come on sleepy head time to get ready for the day. I have to go work today."

"What am I suppose to do?"

"Um...figure that out."

"Wow real helpful."

Shrugging I chuckled as well. Looking at him then at my dresser I got clothes out then went to the bathroom to change.  Once I got dressed I did the rest of my morning routine. Kisshu was dressed and ready to go. After breakfast we went to the cafe and my day of work began. Kisshu helped with mainly cleanup which he didn't seem to know how to do so it was amusing to watch. As I served a customer I overheard others at a nearby table.

"The new years festival?" A woman with blonde hair and brown eyes said.

"Yeah! It happens every year! Girls dress in kimonos, guys in yukatas. Lots of warm yummy food, games and prizes and rides!" The other woman with red hair and blue eyes told her.

'I completely forgot about the snow festival..another new human experience for Kisshu.'

Eventually work came to an end and Shirogane had called everyone for a meeting.

"Shirogane I have plans why are we having this meeting?" Ichigo whined.

"Ichigo stop whining and listen." Ryou said.

"You all know about the new year's festival correct?" Kei asked.

"Of course! It is so much fun! The food! Games!" Pudding chirped in excitement.

"Uh...new years fesitval? Kisshu asked.

"Oh yeah Kisshu you don't know about it. The new years festival is about celebrating the upcoming new year.  It will be on new years eve and ends at 12 when the clock hits the first day of the new year. There are games ,food, rides, and other fun activities." Kei explained to him.

Looking at Kisshu I noticed he was absorbing the information and began thinking about it.

"Since there will be a large amount of people there we have to be on guard at all time encase the 3 aliens attack. Keep an eye out." Shirogane warned.

"It would definitely be a place where they would strike..A place to kill as many humans as possible." Kisshu added

We all nodded in agreement and all left the cafe going our separate ways.

"So this new years festival will be fun?" Kisshu asked.

"Course it will. I'll show you before anything happens okay?" I told him.

Kisshu smiled and squeezed my hand slightly as he held it. Seeing his smile always made me happy inside. My chest felt warm and light seeing his face even if it was his disguise as a human. I knew it was him.

"Well anything is fun as long as I am with you."

Stopping I looked up seeing more snow falling. The small flakes fell around us and one fell on my nose. Kisshu chuckled and blew it off.  Looking at him smiling he leaned in and we shared a loving kiss as snow fell around us on that night. The moon glow giving us light and the stars shining bright as our love was expressed in that moment.
