~yuki's pov~

I lead Ichigo over to Hariko's body and we returned his spirit to him.  I sat him up and we all changed back. Kisshu changed back into his human form.

"Good thing we got here when we did." Ichigo said.

"Thank you so much." I said.

"I can't believe the aliens used someone from school." Ichigo commented.

"They'll do anything..you know this all to well."

"Yeah.."

"Well I need to get Kisshu home and check his injuries."

"Take care of that scratch too."

"I will."

The mews went in their own directions and so did we.  Kisshu was walking fine which was a good thing.  I had grabbed my bags before we left and held them. Kisshu tried to hold them himself, but I told him flat out no.  He had more injuries then I did. After a while we had gotten home.  Ichiru was taking care of Yui when we walked in. 

"What happened? You look like crap Kissshu." Ichiru commented.

"Haha so nice of you to notice." Kisshu said in sacrasm.

"We were attacked by a chimera at the mall." I informed Ichiru.

"Are you okay?!" Ichiru said in concern.

He ran over to me and turned my head.

"You have a cut! Where else are you hurt at?!"

"I'm fine Ichiru. It is only the cut nothing else." I assured him.

"Yeah don't worry about me I'm just fiiinnee." Kisshu shouted in sarcasm.

"I'm more worried about Yuki then you."

"I can tell."

"Ichiru be nice.." I said.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Yui walk over to Kisshu and tug on the bottom of his shirt.  He looked over at her a questioning look on his face.

"Are you okay Kisshu? I can help with your boo boos!" She said blinking slowly at him.

Kisshu had a suprised look on his face and then it softened into a smile.

"I'll be okay..Thank you yui." He said in a kind voice.

He patted the top of her head and she smiled so big at him.  Kisshu seemed to be a bit gentler around children then again Yui is my sister. 

"I'll get the first aid kit." Ichiru said, got up and left the room.

I turned my attention to Kisshu.

"Does it hurt anywhere? Does your arm feel broken or anything else feel broken?" I asked concerned.

"No no, I'm totally fine." He said.

"You got rammed by a chimera." I reminded him.

"Just some bruising and scratches. I am fine." He kept reassuring me.

I sighed in defeat.

"Well I will be making sure you get fully looked at."

"I would like that~?" He snickered.

"Don't say it like that!" I blushed slightly.

Ichiru returned with the first aid and both Kisshu and I got patched up. He had bandages everywhere. 

"Its snowing! It's snowing!" Yui yelled excitedly.

"Really?" I asked, I got up and walked to the window that Yui was at.

"Snow?" I heard Kisshu ask.

"Yeah come here." I beckoned him with my hand.

I could hear his footsteps approach and he stood beside me and looked out the window as Yui and I did.

"That white stuff is snow?" He asked.

"Yup. It only arrives when its cold like this." I said.

"So..its also cold?"

"Yes." I chuckled slightly.

"You gotta get all dressed up! Otherwise Jack Frost will come nippin at your nose!" Yui giggled.

"Who's Jack Frost?" Kisshu asked.

"No one. It's just a saying." I said.

Ichiru walked over standing behind us. I turned my head looking at him.

"Well you two aren't going outside yet. You need to rest up from the fight you had. I'll take Yui out. No funny business." Ichiru said eyeing Kisshu.

My eyes shifted to Kisshu who rolled his own eyes.

"We will be fine Ichiru. Stop treating me like a child."

"I gotta be protective over you. You just got hurt from some lunatic that is a part of his race!" I Ichiru commented.

"I never asked for him to be a part of my race!" Kisshu hissed.

"Whatever." Ichiru said.

Yui walked over to Ichiru and they went upstairs most likley to get her dressed to go outside.  A few minutes later they came downstairs and yui had a hat on, scarf, gloves, a long sleeve light jacket, boots all the essentials to stay warm.  Ichiru put Yui's heavy jacket on her and they went outside.  I rubbed my arms feeling the draft come in once the door closed. 

"Wow it seems to have gotten much colder." Kisshu observed.

"Oh yes, when snow is around its much much colder."

I looked back outside and watched Yui play in the snow with Ichiru.  Even with our broken family we managed to keep her smiling.

~Few days later~

I was on the couch reading a book with Kisshu's head on my lap his eyes closed.  I heard a knock at the door. Looking over, I looked back down at Kisshu.

"Hey I need to get up."

"Why? I just got comfortable." He whined.

"Come on move." I said.

The knocking continued more rapidly as if the person on the other side of the door was getting impatient. I sighed, pushed Kisshu up and got off the couch. I  put my book down and walked to the door and opened it.

"Yes?"

Once the door opened I was ambushed by a yellow haired child that I knew quite well. I fell over with her ontop. I could feel the cold breeze sneak in from outside.

"Yuki-oneechan! Come play in the snow with us!" Pudding yelled with excitement in her voice and showed in her big brown eyes.

I chuckled lightly and she got off me. I stood up and dusted the snow that came off of her onto the floor.  I looked to see the rest of the mews standing there dressed warmly in winter clothes.

"Well I see everyone is bundled up and ready to go." I said.

Ichigo nodded happily.

"Are you ready to go have some fun?" Ichigo asked.

"She can't go out yet Ichigo oneechan! She has to get more clothe on!" Pudding said.

"Yeah of course I can come out. As Pudding said I have to get more clothes on." I repeated.

"Yuki who's at the door?"

I turned my head to see Ichiru walking down the stairs carrying a box filled with Christmas ornaments.

"Ichigo and her friends want me to come play in the snow." I told him.

"How is your cut doing?" He asked.

"It's just a cut Ichiru..It isn't going to kill me." I groaned rolling my eyes.

"How about you take Yui out as well with you." He suggested.

"Of course, I was meaning to do that. Yui! Get your scarf and hat on! We are going out in the snow!" I shouted hoping it would reach her ears.

"So you're going to play in that snow?" Kisshu asked walking over.

"Yeah you play in it. You can make snowmen! Make angels! Make forts!" Pudding listed off in a high pitched voice.

"Kisshu hasn't seen snow before Pudding. You'll have to show him how fun it can be." I said winking at her.

She giggled and nodded.

"Of course!"

Ichiru walked over and handed him his hat, scarf gloves and a jacket.  Kisshu put them all on as they were handed to him.  I heard quick, little footsteps come down the staircase that made their way over to us.  Yui was ready to go, all dressed warmly in her winter clothes.  Walking away from the others I also got my winter accessories on.  After that we all went outside and we got about three inches of snow throughout the city it seemed.  All of us ventured to the small park nearby my home. It was so pretty seeing all the trees covered in this wonderful, white gift of nature.  The snow sparkled in the light and kids nearby were having fun throwing snowballs at one another.  Pudding was already on top of a huge ball of snow rolling it over to the others.  Lettuce and Zakuro were helping make the parts of the snowman.  Mint was drinking something out of a thermo which to my guess it was tea.  Yui walked over with a carrot which I am guessing she brought from the house. 

"I got the nose!" She informed Lettuce and Zakuro as she walked over.

They got the snowman made and I brought Kisshu over and showed him.  Zakuro held Yui up and she placed the carrot on the snowman's face.  Pudding added the eyes and the mouth and Lettuce added the arms.

"This is a snowman." I said.

"So..is it alive now?"He asked.

"No no it isn't. It's just something children can build."  I chuckled.

"Kissu do you like it?" Yui asked hoping over, she looked up at him with her eyes looking at him.

"Yes I do." He said patting her head.

Suddenly Kisshu got hit in the face with snow.  I saw his expression get hard and his eyebrows narrowed.

"Who did that?!" He shouted in anger.

"Calm down. It was just a snowball." I assured him.

"A snowball..?" He asked wiping the snow off his face then another one hit him in the same spot. 

I could hear a slight growl come out of him as he wiped the snow off him yet again.

"They're challenging you to a snowball fight." I said.

"Who is..I will beat them!" He yelled.

I looked over at Ichigo and pudding who were pretending they didn't do anything.  I looked back at Kisshu and shifted my eyes back at them a few times.  He looked over and smirked slightly.

"Oh so you two really want to know how mean I can be?!"

I showed him how to make one and handed it to him.

"Remember no teleporting or flying to get an advantage." I reminded him.

"I know I know." He said.

Before I knew it all three were in a big snowball fight.  Zakuro and minto began building a fort to cover themselves.  I made my own snowballs and threw some at Ichigo and pudding.  After a while of having fun we felt the ground shake and heard large footsteps approaching us.  Yui ran over to me in fright and hid behind me. 

"Look!" Ichigo shouted pointing in a direction.

I turned my head as everyone else did and we saw some chimeras coming out way. One was a large snow rabbit chimera, another was a snowman looking one, and then a few other ice looking chimeras that came up from the back. 

"Kisshu! Get Yui out of here! Teleport her and Ichiru somewhere encase something hits the house!"  I shouted running to him.

Handing yui over to him he teleported off with her.

"Ready girls?!"

I got out my pendant and transformed along with the others.  I was in my element. I had enough snow and ice to control at my whim.  Ichigo and Pudding were dealing with the rabbit chimera that was running at high speed at them both.  Zakuro was fighting one of the ice monsters, but her whip was only taking bits and pieces off i not doing a whole lot of damage to it.  Lettuce and Minto were working on the other one nearby.  I ran over to go help Zakuro with the ice chimera however I was forced to abruptly stop after a lighting bolt landed in front of me.

"We already know that you have an advantage with the environment so we will make sure you don't get involved with the others."

Looking up Pai and Ace were floating above. Pai rose his fan swinging his arm a large gust of wind threw me back a few feet making me land in a pile of snow.  I stood up shaking my head getting the snow out of my hair. My scepter powered up and the snow around me rose up. The next command I did was have it form into a fist coming down at them. Of course they teleported away before it could hit them.  The snow deformed back into the ground.  Keeping my guard up I gripped my scepter tightly.

"Seems snowflake has learned a new trick."  I heard a voice from behind me.

Before I got a chance to turn around I was hit in the back with a powerful blast of what felt like fire.  I yelled in pain as I was thrown  into the snow.  My back was so warm and burning.  I tried to get up fighting through the pain.  As i stood up I could feel the pain slowly subside my guess was the crystal was healing my wound. 

"Hm seems its acting faster in healing..that should have kept you down.." Ace said.

Looking over at him Pai then appeared floating a few feet above the ground.  Ace had a smirk across his face rubbing his chin with his thumb as if thinking.

"If it can heal a mere human's wound, it should be able to heal everyone else on our planet." Pai commented.

"Enough talk. Let's see exactly how much it can do." Ace smirked bigger.

They attacked me both at once fire and lighting coming at me I had to think fast of what to do next.  If I had snow try and block it fire would just melt it. Lighting could possibly penetrate the ice with the help of fire. Best I could do it avoid it until I can think of something else, or if I can mix the power of the crystal into the snow.  At the last second I had the snow beneath my feet shoot up so I was about the height of a normal sized tree.  Using my scepter I hardened part of the snow and turned it into ice as the lighting and fire hit the middle part of the tower I had made. It was separated the chunk that was beneath my feet was in tact and kept me in the air. The crystal on my scepter was continuously glowing my guess was it was keeping the ice in the air that was carrying me.

"Now that is just cheating." Ace whined slightly and flew at me with Pai right behind him.  I had the block of ice go right at them and at the last moment did a back flip off it making it crash into them. Landing on my feet like a cat the other two were sent into the ground.  I thought about my next move as they got up. Pai looked irritated as he dusted the snow off his arms.  Ace laughed as he got up too. 

"Didn't see that coming! Always surprising me!" Ace laughed more.

"Would you shut up!" Pai shouted at him angrily.

"Someone is being a sore loser." I snickered.

"I will not be degraded by some low life human!" He yelled at me.

Raising his fan he shot out lighting one bolt after another fiercely.  I didn't have much time to react I had snow wall go up in front of me but each was destroyed by his attacks.  As my last snow shield was destroyed fire showed through instead of lighting.  The fire wrapped around me like a vortex and I could feel it absorbing the oxygen.  I coughed my lungs gasping for air.  I fell to my knees feeling weak from oxygen.

"Gotta love fire~" I heard ace from outside the wall of fire.

'I can't pass out..they will take me again or the others may need my help.  I can't give up.'

I tried to stand up using my scepter, but my lungs burned for oxygen.  My eyes slowly began to close and as I did  could feel my  body begin to feel light.  I made my eyes open feeling strength come back to my body.  Lifting my head I noticed that I was surrounded by a glowing like dome over me.  I inhaled a deep breath and coughed a few more times. After a few minutes I stood back up, raising my scepter the dome exploded and the fire was gone.   My body was warm, strong and was glowing.  Raising my scepter again it lit up releasing powerful waves forcing Paii and Ace to fly back.  I noticed that the chimeras were destroyed and returned to the things that it was made from. After the last wave the scepter stayed lit. The snow begin to swirl around me gathering near the top of the crystal on my scepter. It gathered into a large ball of snow with ice crystals gathered around it  diagonally. The ball of snow turned into a giant crystal and all of them began to glow fiercely. I swung my scepter down and it fired at Ace and Pai.  Once it hit something a large wave from the aftermath was so strong it made some trees blow back in the nearby area.  I didn't see them standing there so I am guessing they either teleported, or they were destroyed.  I felt my body become heavy as I transformed back feeling drained of energy. 

"Wow Yuki what was that?!" Ichigo asked running over.

"I think..that was my power and the crystal's power combining into one." I predicted.

"It was very powerful. My animal instinct was telling me to run." Zakuro informed.

"Yuki-oneechan is getting stronger!" Pudding squealed.

"For the better. We will all need to be ready for the battle with their leader." Ichigo added.

"Anyways, I think i am going to-"

Before finishing my sentence I felt my body go weak and I passed out.
