Ace's pov

Watching  the battle between Pai and Yuki I followed her out of the mall entrance.  Suddenly she began to fall over.  I was already in my human form, so I ran out and caught her.  She seemed to be resting.  I turned my eyes to the spot where the rainbow stone would be.  It glowed and seeped into her body.

'Dammit. Not again.'

"Yuki!"

I looked up and saw Kisuke run over.  He had a worried look on his face as he looked at Yuki's sleeping form.

"What are you doing here?" I asked eyeing him suspiciously.

"I was here with Yuki and we got separated by the crowd." He explained.

"Well I'll take her home." I said.

"I'm coming with. I want to make sure she's okay."

"Fine."

I called a cab over and I got Yuki's body in then got in myself. Kisuke went on the other side and we headed to her house.  I looked at Kisuke as he held Yuki's hand.

'He looks so familiar...I doubt it's him but it possibly could be. I'll have to be on guard.'

"So are you two close?" I asked him.

"Uh kind of. Just good friends is all."

"I see."

"Although it feels that we are more. I'm gonna ask her to be my girlfriend here soon. Do you like her at all?" He asked.

"I do. She turned me down though. She'll turn you down too. She told me she's not ready for a relationship. You're outta luck." I shrugged my shoulders.

"I doubt that. Even if she rejects me which she won't I'll keep trying."

"Well seems I have competition then."

"Yes you do." He glared at me slightly.

I smirked.  We arrived at Yuki's house. Before I got a chance to even put my arm underneath her neck to get ready to carry her Kisuke beat me to it.  I glared at him as he opened the door. 
He laid her on the couch and sat next to her. I sat on the other end.  It was silent and I decided to observe him.

'How can I prove it is him...Endless I do something he really hates and changes back. This is gonna be tricky.  If it is him he knows me.'

"So...How did you two meet?"

He looked at me with a cold look in his eye as our eyes met contact.

'Same color too. It has to be him.'

"Well? Did you perhaps meet her when you saw the stone on her necklace? Thought it might be valuable?"

"Huh? It is pretty, but no that isn't how we met. I am not into stealing. We met at a basketball game. She was decorating for prom, she fell off the ladder and I caught her. We began talking after."

"Interesting."

"You think her stone is valuable?"

"It possibly could be."

"Well I'm not stealing it. Please go ahead. I'll make sure to kick your ass."

"How kind of you, but no. I could kick your ass though."

"Wanna go?!"

"Maybe. Why getting angry?"

"You're pissing me off so yes."

"Why? Scared I'm gonna take her away?"

"No! She likes me and only me! I plan on being with her and no one else will steal her away!"

"How do you know she isn't lying?"

"She wouldn't lie to me! I don't like you, so I don't trust you. I trust her with my life."

"Why is this? How long have you exactly been seeing her? You been dating or just "friends" like you sat."

"No! We haven't been dating!"

"Why you shouting?"

"You're pissing me off!"

"Temper temper."

"Shut up!"

Yuki's pov

After passing out at the mall I could hear two voices talking one was actually shouting.  I groaned quietly and began opening my eyes.  As I began coming too I began to recognize the voices and what they were talking about.

"If you like her why haven't you asked her out? Does she not like you?"

"She does! We've kissed before!"

"She rejected you then. Must have been a bad kisser."

"She enjoys mine! I've gotten farther with her then you ever will."

"So should I tell her brother that?"

"You will not!"

"Oh won't I? Once he knows you've been doing things with her he will never let you see her again. I'll get the chance to get closer and steal her away."

I saw a flash of black and heard a thud. I bolted up and saw Kisshu punching Ace in the face. They tumbled and began punching each other.

"Hey! What the hell?!" I shouted in panic.

I quickly got up and pulled Kisshu off.

"Why are you two here and fighting?!"

"He is threatening to take you away from me!" Kisshu shouted.

"I'm not the ones telling lies of doing things with you." Ace mentioned.

"I did not!"

"Oh really? Yuki did you kiss him more than once?"

"No we haven't kissed." I lied.

I looked at Kisshu and gave him a look.  I saw his face relax and he looked away.

"I said those things to one up you." He said.

"You should be scared of me. I'm gonna win her over." Ace smirked.

"Dammit I am no trophy!" I shouted in anger.

"Who do you like then? Stop playing both of us Yuki." Ace said.

"How dare you accuse me of that?! I told you I don't like you because I don't feel that way."

"You also said because you wanted to focus on school and work."

"Yes I do, but I also don't feel that way towards you.

"So you like him? Why didn't you tell me you liked someone else?"

"Because it recently happened and before I didn't feel anything toward you."

"If you're gonna fight with the guy I like because I didn't chose you. I'm not gonna be your friend because I can't seem to trust you. Also trying to win me like I'm some kind of trophy isn't right either. I'm not an object. I appreciate all you've done for me, but I can't be your friend."

"Well..alright. I'll leave you be. I'm sorry that I betrayed your trust. I'll try and make it up to you."

"We will see. Please leave."

Ace got up and quietly left without saying another word.

"You nearly blew your cover Kisshu."

"I didn't though."

"You were close though! If I didn't break you two up you might have summoned your weapon and then he would have known it was you!"

He let out a deep sigh.

"Sorry. I just get so angry when he says he is gonna steal you when you're mine. We are boyfriend and girlfriend."

"I know. You need to control your temper."

"Yeah I'll work on it."

"Thanks."

"Even though you didn't blow your cover he did know how to make you angry. I think he might be catching on."

"I won't let him. As long as deep blue doesn't know I'll be okay."

"I hope so."

"What happened between you and Pai anyways?  You were past out."

"Just used too much of the stone's power.  He was going to kill me and I had to tell him I wasn't going down without a fight."

"Don't push yourself so hard. I don't want you actually dying on me."

"I won't. Make sure you be careful as well. You know where to find me if they try to kill you. I won't allow it."

"I know. At least he is out of the picture for now."

Kisshu kissed my forehead and pulled me in close.  I heard the door open and I looked over to see Ichiru and Yui walk in.  I sat up and pried Kisshu's arms off me.

"Were home. Yuki are you hear?"

"Yeah I'm in the living room."

Ichiru walked over and then froze.

"Why are you here with him alone?"  Ichiru asked.

"Ichiru we've been over this." I said.

"I know, but I can't help it!"

"Why are you holding hands?!" Ichiru shouted pointing at our hands.

"Onee-chan has a boyfriend!"  Yui said giggling and clapping.

"Yes she does~" Kisshu agreed.

"I will not allow it!" Ichiru shouted.

"You're a little late for that." Kisshu snickered.

I shook my head chuckling slightly.  Ichiru sighed in defeat and scratched the top of his head.

"Just remember there will be roles. You don't follow them then you're never allowed back."

"I doubt they'll be that bad." He commented.

" 1) No sleeping in the same bed as Yuki especially under the sheets. 2) No sex! Don't seduce her, don't get her drugged or drunk so that she will! 3) She has a curfew so she is to be back by 9 on a school night and 10 on a weekend. 4) No looking through her underwear drawer. So help me if I catch you I will kill you. 5) You will no-"

"Ichiru he gets it." I said feeling embarrassed.

"I'll be the best boyfriend she's ever had no worries. It may turn into something more serious later on then we'll be in-laws." Kisshu snickered.

"We will just see won't we."

"Uh anyways Ichiru. What are we having for dinner?"

"Oh I'm ordering take out."

"What kind?"

"There is a new Chinese place that opened up."

"Cool when is it gonna be here?"

"I'll be calling right now." Ichiru got out his phone, typed in the number and walked off.

"What's Chinese?" Kisshu asked titling his head.

"Oh it's Chinese food.  All sorts of food comes from all over the world and this food was created in China."

"I see."

"You'll like it."

"I believe you." He smiled.

"Last time you ate with us we had Italian food."

"Interesting. I'm always learning new things when I'm with you. We never had this sort of stuff where I'm from."

I looked at him and held his hand tighter.

"It'll be okay. We will help them after all of this."

After a while the door rang and Ichiru answered. He swapped out the money for the food and walked to the table.  I got up with Kisshu still holding onto my hand tightly and followed me. We got plates down and everyone got their own food.  I showed Kisshu how to use the chopsticks.  Most of the time when he dipped something in the soy sauce the sticks would twist and end up flicking it all over.  I laughed and wiped the table along with his face.  All of us ate our fill after a bit.

"Hey Ichiru I'm gonna go for a walk with Kisuke."

"Fine, be back soon."

With that we left and walked along the sidewalk. 

"Did you enjoy the food?"

"Yeah. It was different. Lots of noodles too."

I nodded and chuckled.

"Well I better get going.  I've been gone all day. If I don't make daily appearances I'll be under suspicion especially when I come back empty handed." Kisshu informed.

"I know. If I could I would give you a drop of blue aqua, but we both know that won't happen."

"Pretty much. Stay safe alright especially around Ace."

"I know now get going."

Kisshu changed into his alien form and floated up slowly letting go of my hand.  Looking down at me he smiled then teleported away.  I walked down the sidewalk and after a few steps my rainbow stone began to glow. I looked at it and looked around.

"Blue aqua must be near by..."

Kisshu's pov

Teleporting back to our base I looked around but saw neither Pai or Taruto.

"Pai? Taruto?"

I walked to the computer and saw an empty container near the keyboard that Pai typed on.

"What is this?"

I picked it up and examined it.

"That was holding a small piece of blue aqua I held. Pai was examining it. Deep blue wants us to go fetch a bigger piece of blue aqua. Come on."

I turned my head and saw Ace standing there. I glared at him as I just saw him in his human form not too long ago.

"It's deep blue's orders so you can't say no."

"Fine."

We both teleported out of the base and headed to the west side of the city.  I looked around trying to look for any blue aqua.

"So aren't you going to use your piece of blue aqua to search for others?"

"Give me a second sheesh." He snorted and got it out.

We began searching throughout the city for blue aqua. As we did I had a strange feeling come over me and as we looked it slowly grew. I chose to ignore it since it was probably nothing, yet I still paid attention to it.  Something at the back of my head nagged at me to leave and find Yuki.

Yuki's pov

I began running in the same direction the light staying the same brightness.  As I got further and further the brightness got brighter and brighter.  Without realizing it I found myself in a clearing near the forest.  I looked around and walked a few steps.

"Where is the blue aqua?"

"So you did come. This is good news now I can kill you."

Looking up to the sky I saw Pai floating there with his weapon ready.  In his other hand he had a small piece of blue aqua.  I glared and covered the rainbow stone with my hand.

"So you used a piece of blue aqua to lure me out."

"It was much simpler then searching throughout the whole city.  My plan worked like a charm. Now you can die."

Pai shot lighting at me and exploded near me.  I was thrown back by the explosion yelling as I was thrown back.  I got up and got my pendant out.  As I got ready to transform I got smacked in the hand which caused my hand to loosen the grip on pendant. I gasped and saw it go flying.  I saw where it landed and ran over to it.  Before I could get to it I fell over. I was unable to move my arms and legs.

"What the hell?!"

I looked at my body and saw I was entangled with thread of some sort.  I tried to wiggle my arms out but no success.

"Haha I got her like you said Pai. Now you can't move girl!"

"It was a good thing I brought you here Taruto."

"Deep Blue wants the rainbow stone and if it decides to go inside your body we will just dissect you after you're dead."

Lighting was shot at me and I screamed as the shock waves exploded through my body.  I coughed up  blood as the inside of me burned.  Over and over he struck me with his lighting attacks.  I was thrown back by the explosions caused by the brutal attacks.  I panted as I lost my breath from the screaming.  My throat was dry and stung feeling dehydrated.  I could smell the blood that was coming off of me from the wounds I had inflicted on me.

"Watching you suffer will replace my thoughts about Kisshu betraying us for a lowly human such as yourself.  So how does it feel? Suffering and in pain.  Our species is suffering at this point because your species decided to take our planet from us."

I felt sick and coughed up more blood.  I tried my hardest to keep my eyes open as it would be worse if I lost conscious.  I tilted my head up seeing the two aliens float down next to me.  Pai kicked me in my stomach causing a wave of pain intensifying the previous pain that was already there. I coughed up more blood and Taruto stood above me laughing at my pain.

"Such a weakling! You don't deserve to live. What do you people say?  Survival of the fittest? Yeah that isn't you how unfortunate." Pai said.

"Yeah know...I wasn't there when my race took over your planet...I was never involved..how could you hate us so much. Sure we are humans, but our generation never caused you to loose your planet...I want to help you and your species...No one should have to suffer...By completing the stone I can save both planets..."

"Tch what a lie. I don't believe you for a second." Pai said frowning and glaring.

"Why would I lie...? I've told Kisshu the exact same thing...Like I said no one should have to suffer. I have suffered without my father... I watched him in his hospital bed suffering before he died...it hurts and I can understand how hard it must be...to see your loved ones in pain..."

"Stop saying like you do understand! Stop with the lying too! We don't need a human's help! " He shouted.

Pai stomped on my head over and over. I groaned in pain and coughed up more blood.  I could feel the rainbow stone trying to heal me on the inside.

"Pai she's had enough!"  Taruto cried out trying to pull him away.

I saw Pai push him away.  Pai kicked me again and I rolled a few feet. I heard a rock get hit and heard it drop after a bit.  My eyes widened. I was near a cliff.

'Are they going to throw me over the edge?! Is that how they plan on killing me?! Kisshu! Where are you? I need you! Someone!'

"Taruto take your weapon and as it unwinds make sure she flies off the edge."

I looked over at Taruto watching his next move.  Taruto looked at Pai with a questioning face then back at me. He looked away and walked over.  He grabbed the ball that had part of the rope attached to it and pulled quickly making me spin as the rope came off me. I felt my body fly upwards and I saw the edge of the cliff as I went up and over.  I looked up my body frozen filled with pain.  I couldn't move and I was staring death in the face.  Pai was smirking grinning almost as he watched my body go over the edge.

'I'm going to die...Kisshu...Kisshu save me...I don't want to die.'

My throat was dry so I couldn't let out a scream as I fell to my death.  My voice felt like it was gone. I felt drowsy and my eyes dropped. I soon lost consciousness and all I knew was I was heading to my grave.
