~Kisshu's pov~

"She escaped?!" Pai said in anger trying not to yell.

"Well duh, not like she's gonna waltz through the door any moment." I remarked.

"How could you two let this happen? Deep Blue would have been proud we had the stone in our grasp!" Pai ranted on.

I let out a long annoyed sigh and floated upwards a few feet plugging my ears with my fingers. After a few minutes I unplugged my ears.

"Are you done?"

"No. I'm still annoyed that you let the mews take her."

"We were outnumbered."

"Pai we will get her back and be able to get the stone." Taruto reassured him.

"Deep Blue will not accept this." Pai said clenching his fists.

Just then the room changed and deep blue was in front of us. We all got on our knees looking at the ground.

"Any news to report? I hope it's good this time."

We all stayed silent for a few minutes then Pai spoke up.

"It is good and bad. Good news is we had the stone. Once we tried to analyze the stone it seemed to have went into the mews body. The bad news...is the mews took her back along with the stone."

"Why am I not surprised. Although at least you managed to do a little bit of analyzing correct?" Deep blue asked.

"Hai."

"All you three need to do now is to actually get ahold of the stone for further analysis and then restore it to its full form. Once we do the planet is clearly ours."

"We will."

"I also want you to assist "Ace" that is the human name he is going by. Assist him with whatever he needs. Being able to get closer to the stone then you three have I can see him being more successful with obtaining it."

I glared at the ground not wanting to go along with this idea. I hated the guy for messing with Yuki. For being near her.

"Hai we will do as you wish Deep Blue Sama." Pai agreed.

"See that your failure will be put to an end. The sooner you obtain the stone and we get it to its true form the sooner this planet will be ours."

With that we returned back to our dimension.

I stood up and folded my arms.

"Got a problem Kisshu?" Pai asked.

"I don't want to assist him."

"It's not your choice. Deep Blue ordered us too."

"Whatever."

With that I teleported out of the dimension and sat on a rooftop of a building watching the humans go on with their daily lives. I sighed and looked at the sky. The clouds were different shades of gray and the sun wasn't out.

"I wonder if a storm will happen."

"So I heard that you won't help me get the stone."

I turned my head and looked at the bastard. He floated above the rooftop a few feet. He had a cocky smirk, then he floated down onto the rooftop.

"I don't like others who mess with my toys."

"So Yuki is now a toy? Here I thought you were developing feelings of affection for this mew. If she is just a toy, then of course I'll play with her like she is one."

I growled and immediately stood up.

"You are not to mess with her in any way!"

"What if I do? What are you gonna do?"

I teleported over to him and pinned him down on the rooftop with one of my dragon sais to his throat.

"I will slit your throat."

He looked at me with a slightly puzzled expression then frowned.

"You would kill one of your own because of a mere human? That would make you a traitor."

He teleported and kicked me in my side. I stood up wincing a bit and held my ground.

"Kisshu you don't seem to know where your heart is. It's split into two. One half wants to desperately save his own race. The other half wants to protect this mew. Our enemy. We have a job to do and that is to help our own survive. The humans have lived long enough and now they can perish. This girl holds a key to our race's survival and we shall obtain it even if it means she dies. Why don't you try to find someone that is our race and not some mere trash that is only fueled by the power that isn't her own."

"Tch. She's not trash..."

"Figure out where your loyalty is. If it is with the mews, then Deep Blue will certainly have us kill you for being a traitor. You will along with the others help me achieve the stone to save our race, or if you become allies with the enemy...we will definitely kill you with them."

After that he teleported away giving me a cold glare.

"Whatever! I still won't help you! I hate you! You're an asshole!"

I rubbed my side and huffed out my anger.

'I can't allow him to get close to her and harm her...Dammit why am I falling for her! Just because she has those deep violet eyes, a motherly personality, snow white hair...along with porcelain skin...She cares deeply about her family...Maybe I am a lovesick fool. I allowed myself to be taken by another mew...but at least this one doesn't already have another boy she's going after. I'll make her mine, but...I'll try and not be as forceful. I'll also observe other human couples. The first thing to do so show that I do care about her is to check up on her.'

I nodded my head and teleported to her room.

~Yuki's pov~

I woke up like I had this familiar feeling. I turned my head looking around and blinked. It was still sometime at night or the early morning as my room was shrouded in darkness.

'Must have been my imagination.'

I rolled onto my right side slowly facing a set of golden eyes. I thought it was my imagination and closed them.

'Wait a minute!'

I snapped my eyes open and they were still there. I tried to sit up but ended up falling back onto the bed groaning.

"Don't push yourself koneko."

Turning my head back to where he was I blinked in confusion.

"Why are you here?!"

"I wanted to check on you."

I rose my eyebrow eyeing him suspiciously.

"Oh really. No sexual harassment, or trying to take the stone?" I said in sarcasm.

He sat up letting out a sigh.

"No none of that. I wanted to check up on you."

"Why?"

"I told you before. I think I'm developing feelings for you."

I shifted my eyes the other way and felt a hand on my right hand. I looked back at him with a slight blush slowly warming my face.

"I mean it. I don't know why. I shouldn't be letting myself falling for a mew again, but it happened."

"Wait what do you mean again?"

"I use to have feelings toward Ichigo, but she rejected me. She also had another man she liked."

"I see. Well I don't know if I can return the feelings. We are enemies. You want to destroy the human race. My home."

"Why not? I'm only following Deep Blue's orders. I need to be on his side until I find out what he is actually planning. We can make this a secret between the two of us~."

"I-idk. I don't like keeping secrets from my friends or my family."

"You deserve to be happy too. Plus, I normally do what I want, so I'll be coming to see you anyways."

"Well yeah."

"So?"

"I...do enjoy our time together. I also do feel something strong when you kiss me."

"See? As long as it stays a secret and we fight normal then we shouldn't have any unwanted attention. Say yes~ You know you want too."

"Okay okay. It'll be our secret."

"Now to seal the deal~."

Kisshu caressed my face and leaned in. His golden eyes reading my violet ones. As I gazed into his I could read them like open books. I could see the love consuming them.

'I don't think this will be a mistake. I do deserve to be happy and maybe we can convince the rest that fighting won't solve anything.'

His lips brushed the top of mine and his hand holding my cheek slid into my hair combing through it. I felt it caresses the back of my head pushing my head forward. My eyes closed after he pressed his lips against mine. I got goosebumps along my arms as he got more passionate as the moments passed. He pulled back and ran his hand through my hair. I opened my eyes looking at him.

"I see you got a thrill out of it."

"I-I did not!"

"Uh huh sure."

He ran his fingers gently along my arms. The goosebumps slightly there still.

"I felt something yes."

"You're so cute when embarssed. Besides that, I came to check up on you. How are you feeling?"

"Well I can move my body a little, but not much still."

"That fight must have really taken it out of you. My poor koneko."

"I'm sure the stone will heal me soon it just takes time."

"Yeah. Well for tonight I'll stay here."

"A-are you sure? What if my brother catches you?"

"He won't. I can teleport remember?"

"Well still."

"Don't worry about it. Okay?"

His hand caressed my cheek again and I couldn't help but lean my head into it. I smiled at him.

"Okay."

"Yeah know I've heard on your planet about this couple called Romeo and Juliet. They weren't allowed to see one another. Why is that?"

"Well they were from two different families that were enemies, yet they were in love and went against their parents' wishes and saw one another anyways."

"So you're my Juliet then~. Which means I am Romeo. I bet I'm a better charmer."

I laughed slightly and couldn't help but smile again.

"Now get some sleep. You'll need as much of it as you can get if you want to get better."

"Alright."

Kisshu laid beside me and pulled me close to him. He laid on his side and he helped me lay on mine. Wrapping his arms around me securing me I felt safe and content. Being with the enemy in a Romeo and Juliet love story was a bit thrilling, but soon there would be the drama that would try to split us apart.

~Morning~

I woke up on my own which felt pretty nice. I opened my eyes to see Kisshu's sleeping face close to mine. I blushed slightly and smiled softly. I sat up rubbing eyes and yawned. I was tugged back down all of a sudden.

"No."

I blinked and looked at Kisshu. He nuzzled his face into my hair and held me close. My face relaxed and I smiled at him.

"I do need to get up sometime today."

"Not yet."

"You're such a child."

"Yes and I like my toy."

"Why did you call me that?"

"Because kids love their toys."

"True...but don't call me that again."

"Fiiiiine."

I tested every part of my body to make sure I could move each one while Kisshu had me in a death grip.

"Shouldn't you be getting back to the others?"

"Meh. Doubt they miss me."

"You're still part of their race."

"They don't accept me that much. All I am is a failure to them."

"Well they can see you as they want. You'll be able to save your race. I know it."

I smiled at him and he looked at me with big golden eyes and a grin forming.

"You really are a sweetheart~."

"Uh thanks."

I wiggled out of his grip and sat up leaning against my headboard. Kisshu closed his eyes and laid his head on my lap leaning his head against my stomach his arms still around me. I blinked and began petting his head gently.

'He really is like a little kid.."

~Ace's pov~

"I think I've seen enough."

I teleported to our base feeling annoyed.

"Pai I believe Kisshu has changed where his loyalty lies."

"Oh really..." He asked his voice getting quieter.

"I think I know a way we get the stone and his loyalty back."

"What do you believe that is?"

"Kill the girl. Simple as that."

"So you plan on doing that?"

"Of course not. You are supposed to assist me. I don't assist you."

"Fine."

"I'll get Kisshu to go with me on a hunt for blue aqua and you simply take care of her."

"How are you so sure that killing her will bring his loyalty back to us?"

"The planet is important to him. This mew is now important. Once something is gone...such as her he will go back to wanting to surely save the other thing important to him."

"How are you even positive that he won't betray us altogether?"

"You act as if this mew has been with him his whole life. It is a simple crush nothing more for now...We need to get rid of her before he decides to fight alongside the mews. The last thing we need is for him to spill everything to her and we also loose a pawn."

"You seemed to have figured out the details haven't you."

"Being close to the mew and keeping a safe distance to observe the two of them. Yes, I do."

"How many times have they been together?"

"From what I've observed about 3 times. I'm sure it's more though. I've observed his behavior. At first it was just a game of amusement when he spent time with her because he would tease and mess with her. Now I believe his feelings are growing more deeply for her. Make sure you get rid of her soon though. We be killing 3 birds with one stone."

"Getting the stone, killing a mew and having Kisshu's focus on our mission. Deep blue will be most pleased with the results."

"That is why I suggest you do it as soon as you can. I'll stay by Kisshu for now. If he comes here, tell him to go to the farthest west side of the city. Tell him I've located blue aqua and that he is responsible to find it. I'll stay by so he doesn't try to go anywhere."

"Maybe you won't be so bad to have around. It's nice having someone smart like me on the mission."

"Hn. I believe I have far more superior intelligence than you."

With that I teleported out of the dimension and back to Yuki's house.
