-Halloween day-

~Yuki's pov~

It had been a week since I had received my injuries, and now I was helping my little sister get ready for Halloween. The café was closed today and there a festival is going on for the holiday. As a tradition we would go to the festival than go trick or treating endless we had enough of sweets for the day. I sprayed more glitter in Yui's hair. She decided to dress as a mermaid and I had helped her put barrettes that looked like sea creatures in her hair. I chose to dress up as a fairy with lots of warm colors such has reds, oranges, yellows and a little bit of green shades.

"There all done."

Thank you!"

Yui looked into the bathroom mirror and had a big smile on her face.

"Onee-chan made me pretty!"

I smiled at her then we both met our brother downstairs. He chose to be a cyborg because of his love for computers.

"Ready?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Yes! Look I have glitter in my hair!" Yui exclaimed.

"Aww how beautiful. You look like a real mermaid."

I patted Yui's head as she looked at me with a big smile on her face. We left the house and went downtown where the festival was being held at near the park. Booths were lined up along one another that gave out candy or some kind of food. Decorations of all sorts were all over the place from spider webs to pumpkins that had the craziest faces or design. People were dressed up as all sort of creatures you could think of. I saw little kids playing games such as throwing darts at balloons or dunking their heads to get apples. At the park a scavenger hunt went on and whoever found all the items on the list would win a large bag of candy. At the other end of the park they had rides and a haunted house.

"So which first?" Ichiru asked.

"Candy! Candy!" Yui said jumping for joy.

"How about we go get her some candy then go check out the games." I suggested.

"Yeah!" Yui agreed.

"If that's what you want to do then let's go." Ichiru said.

We went to different booths giving out candy and grabbed a few caramel apples. As we walked down the street I noticed Kei working at a booth so we walked over.

"I didn't know the café participated in these type of festivals." I said.

"Oh yes, we do it to get us a little bit more profit and to keep an eye on things. Since its Halloween no one will be suspicious of them. They may think their look is another costume, so keep an eye out. The others are here so you may run into them." Kei informed.

"That makes sense. I'll make sure to keep an eye out indeed." I reassured.

"Next time I see that pigtailed bastard I'll rip his throat out." Ichiru threatened.

"That a bad word Oniissan! No potty words! Bad!" Yui exclaimed wagging her pointer finger at him.

"Ichiru don't cause a scene alright? If they create any chimeras we will need you to get as many people as you can to safety." Kei explained.

"Ugh fine, but I will get him." Ichiru said.

I shook my head and sighed at him.

'The only thing that would happen is Ichiru getting severely hurt. Kisshu maybe hot headed but so is Ichiru. We also have no idea exactly how much stronger these aliens are compared to humans.'

"Anyways here is a few spider cakes."

Kei gave us each a cupcake that had black frosting, on top of that had a white frosting designed as a spider's web, and on top was little candy spiders.

"They look so real!" Yui exclaimed looking at the top of the cupcake and took a big bite out of it.

Thanks Kei she seems to enjoy them." Ichiru thanked.

"Anything for a friend of Shirogane's parents. Go have some fun now." Kei said with a smile.

We walked away waving at him. We stopped at a few more booths getting more candy and food. Before I knew it I was being hugged tightly.

"Yuki we haven't seen you in what feels like forever!" Miyu shouted.

"Hi Asami and Miyu. I've been busy busy." I told them.

"No kidding. You haven't called, or texted us." Asami added.

"Sorry about that." I apologized.

"How about we go on some rides?" Miyu suggested.

"Sounds fun. Ichiru I'm gonna go with them alright?"

"Go have fun I'll be here with Yui. Make sure to keep your phone volume up."

"Okay see yeah later."

With that all three us went to some game stands and played a few games.

"It's really crowded today isn't it?" Asami said.

"Well everyone is here and probably some people are from a few towns nearby." I said.

"Let's go get some candy!" Miyu exclaimed with stars shining in her eyes.

Asami went to a stand that was giving away large chocolate bars and after that we went to another booth that gave out marshmallow ghost treats. When they were busy eating their treats I would look around through the crowds of people and in the sky for any signs of the aliens.

'So far no sign of them.'

~Kisshu's pov~

"Pai I'm not seeing much activity throughout the city."

"This is strange indeed and we all know that humans didn't just vanish." Pai said.

"It's so weird." Taruto said munching on some candy.

"Where did you get that?" Pai asked.

"Oh there is some kind of party going on downtown of the city! They have tons of goodies and food. Lots of humans are there though dressed as all sorts of monsters it's really crazy."

"Why didn't you tell us this before?!" I shouted.

"Was I supposed to?"

"Yes!"

"Do you know why they're there?" Pai asked.

"I asked the human who gave me this candy and he told me it's Halloween. I then asked what that is. He explained that it's a day where humans dress up as anything they want and go out playing tricks or getting candy from people for the whole day. They have festivals for these kind of holidays he told me and most of the city is down there either playing games, on rides or eating."

"That explains why there isn't very many humans in other parts of the city. I wonder if the costumes the humans wear will affect the outcome of the chimera we create from their spirit."

"That could make it more powerful depending on what creature they dress up as." I said.

"The mews will most likely be there. While we let the chimera's take care of them look for the stone and any drops of the blue aqua." Pai explained.

Taruto and I nodded then we flew towards the lower part of Tokyo. It was easy spotting the festival with the bright lights and music. We watched from afar at the different humans dressed in some bizarre and odd looking costumes.

"These humans have such strange traditions. Spread out and do what I said earlier." Pai commented.

"Fine, fine sheesh."

I floated down and went into the crowd. No one seemed to be suspicious of my appearance.

"Hey sweet costume! What are you some kind of alien? Where did you get this made?" A random male human approached me looking over my appearance. What he had on was a long black cloak, and his face was painted to resemble a white skull. He also carried a scythe.

'A costume? Are you serious? Hm I could use him.'

"So what costume do you have on?"

"Oh I'm the grim reaper!"

"What's that?"

"It's a tale of how the grim reaper takes souls and is practically the god is death."

"Interesting but yeah I'm an alien. I actually know the person who made it and I can lead you right to them. Just follow me."

I lead the human away from the crowd.

~Yuki's pov~

I munched on some dango as I walked with Asami and Miyu through the crowds of people. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Kisshu with a man following him to somewhere.

'This can't be good.'

"Uh I got to go to the restroom so I will be back."

I ran off in the direction that they went. I was going towards an alley way when a bright light shined out of it and I heard a scream. I ran faster and faster than stopped at the entrance of the alley. I saw Kisshu fusing the man's spirit with the parasitic jellyfish.

"Fusion!"

The chimera looked like the grim reaper and had two scythes ready to slice anything in its path.

"Hey koneko seems you made it~. Like my creation? Now chimera don't cut her up too much."

The chimera flew at me. I began running I pulled out my phone and instantly called Ichiru.

"Yeah Yuki?"

"Warn Kei! The aliens are here!

"Where are you?!"

"Don't worry about me! Get to safety!"

"Be careful."

"I will."

I hung up and got my pendant out then transformed.

"Koneko I don't want you chopped up so hand over the stone."

"Stop asking! I won't ever give it to you!"

"Always so stubborn. Fine then. Chimera go forth!"

The chimera attacked me swinging its twin scythes at me. I summoned my scepter and blocks both then shot a massive ice beam at it from the top of my scepter. It froze the Chimera on its right side, and then it shot a blast of energy at me sending me flying. I was knocked into a building and slid down into a booth.

"Oh my miss are you okay?"

I rubbed my head and got up.

"You all need to go! Get out of here!"

Nearby I heard screams and a horde of people ran in our direction. Some fell down and tried getting back up.

"This way let's get going!"

I turned my head in the other direction and Kei and Shirogane were showing people the way out.

"Yuki-chan!"

I turned my head and saw Lettuce and Ichigo running over.

"Are you okay?" Lettuce asked.

"Yeah just a little bruised. I saw Kisshu turn a man into a chimera using his spirit and now we have a grim reaper chimera on our hands. It's powerful as well."

"That sounds scary!" Ichigo exclaimed.

"It sure does look scary huh Ichigo."

I looked over and Kisshu floated down with the Chimera next to him.

"How did he even create that?" Lettuce asked.

"That's my little secret. Take care of Ichigo and her green friend. I'm going for the stone and my koneko. Chimera attack!"

Before I knew it Kisshu teleported in front of me and kicked me away from the other two. I hit against a building and fell onto a different booth crushing it. I slid off the booth and stood up.

"Ow."

I rubbed my arm and summoned my scepter again.

"So now I have you to myself."

I put up my scepter in defense and he got his weapons out. He lunged forward swinging his sais trying to stab whatever he could. I blocked and pushed him back then he lunged forward again and swung his sai. The scepter lit up and shot an ice attack knocking the weapon out of his left hand. He teleported behind and swung his other sai and it barely scratched my cheek. I jumped back and swung my scepter sending a wave of ice particles. Kisshu tried blocking but a few cut his clothes in different places along with his limbs. He winced a little but shook it off. He flew at me with his sai ready to strike. I blocked it again and pushed him away. He stopped himself and picked up his other sai that was thrown out of his hand minutes earlier.

"Pretty impressive koneko."

"I won't give up. I have people who need me along with a planet to defend."

"I don't get why you want to stay here. We will rule it and all the humans will be wiped out."

"That is what the mews won't let happen."

Suddenly I was hit by lighting and sent flying backwards some feet.

"You are wasting time by talking. Take the pendant and stone already."

I sat up to where I was on my knees and looked over where the voice was coming from. Another alien taller than Kisshu with grey eyes and purple hair held a red looking fan.

"Pai, I was doing it my way so stay out of it." Kisshu informed.

"The sooner we take the stone the sooner deep blue can take over this planet." The one named Pai said.

He shot another strike of lighting at me and I quickly did a backflip to avoid it.

"The stone won't be yours. I will replenish it. I will use the stone to heal this planet just how my father was wanting to do in the first place!"

"You stupid humans. You have destroyed this planet there is no saving it. We will make this planet into our planet and it will be far better than it is now. If need be we will destroy it, and then using the stone make it into a whole new planet. " Pai explained.

"Hey Pai is she the one who has the stone?"

A smaller alien teleported next to Pai. He looked like he be around Pudding's age. Light brown hair tied into two high pigtails. He had short clothes on and had bands around his wrists.

"Taruto why aren't you taking care of the mews?" Pai asked.

"I made a few more chimeras, so they should be busy for a bit."

"Good. Well seems we will have to do Kisshu's work since he was fooling around like usual."

"Of course he was."

"Shut up! I was doing it my way!" Kisshu shouted at them.

"Well now we can do it for you. Taruto make sure she doesn't escape.

"Hai."

The smaller alien threw a parasitic jellyfish below and it went into the ground. Soon after vines exploded from the cement and wrapped all around my body. I ended up dropping my scepter, and even with all the struggling I couldn't escape.

"What the?! I can't move!"

"That is exactly what I wanted to hear."

Pai held up his fan into the air and swung it sending a lightning bolt directly at me. I turned my head and closed my eyes. Seconds later I opened my eyes and a force field was protecting me.

"How is that even possible...endless the stone is protecting her." Pai wondered.

"But the stone is just an object." Taruto said.

I looked at my scepter and the stone that was part of my scepter was glowing. I also noticed that along the smaller version of the stone that was on my mew outfit was glowing as well.

"Yuki Onee-chan!"

I looked to the right and saw the mews running over.

"Thank goodness you're here!"

"Don't move! Ribbon Minto Echo!"

Minto did her attack and the arrow cut the vines releasing me. I rubbed my arms and picked up my scepter. The force field vanished and the glowing of the two stones stopped.

"Three against on doesn't seem fair at all and against a girl you aliens have no pride do you." Zakuro scoffed.

"You're all outnumbered! Give up!" Ichigo shouted.

"Just you wait...the stone has been close to our grasps a few times now. Once we take the stone you're extermination will be next mews along with all the humans."

After Pai said that the two teleported away, yet Kisshu stayed a few minutes and we both made eye contact. His eyes weren't filled with anger because he didn't obtain the stone but rather had a little bit of sadness.

"Bye Koneko."

With a slight smirk formed on his face he teleported away. Shirogane walked over with Kei.

"Are you all alright?" Kei asked.

All of us said yes in some sort of way or word.

"All of you should get home it's very late." Shirogane said.

All of us went our separate ways after transforming back. Shirogane walked with me home just encase the aliens tried to show up again. I thanked him for walking me home and went inside. The lights were off except for one in the living room. I went to my room got ready for bed, and went to sleep right away as the long day seemed to have taken a large toll on my body.
