Flashback to two years ago in a SDC/Shadow Company Prison Work Camp in Solitas called....

Vorkuta....

We see Anthony Towson and David Fernandes with a White Fang Grunt that fought during the Battle of Vale are brawling.

David: You will break, Grunt.

The Grunt is punched by Anthony, who then is pushed by David onto the floor with other Prisoners watching.

This was a couple of months before the two US Marines were found rescued.

0600 hrs December 15th, 2036

SDC Guard : Come on! Work, bastards!

David:*to Anthony* You hit like a child!

SDC Guard: Or do you only understand through force? ANIMALS!

A SDC guard then appears and heads for the White Fang Grunt(WFG), armed with a club.

David: Hey! Bitchboy!

SDC Guard: You always, American!

The guard begins beating up David while Anthony picks up WFG, gets a rock and smashes it over the guard's head.

Anthony: Dave...

David: Ant... Every journey begins with a single step.*he takes the guards keys and club* This is Step 1!

Crowd: Secure the keys!

David: Now, we take Vorkuta!

Crowd: YEAH!!!!

Anthony: What is Step 2?!

Crowd: Ascend from darkness!

David: 3?!

Crowd: Rain fire!

Anthony: 4?!

Crowd: Unleash the horde!

David: 5?!

Crowd: Skewer the winged beast!

Anthony: 6?!

Crowd: Wield a torch of liberty!

David and Anthony: Step 7?!

Crowd: Raise hell!

SDC Soldier: Let go of me, bitch! Bastard! I'll tear your ass! Damn! I'll kill you, bitch! I'll kill you! You stupid motherfucker, let me go! I can't breathe, I kill you, bi...*gets his neck broken*

David, WFG and Anthony come to see White Fang Lieutenant strangling three soldiers at once.

His White Fang mask was broken in half showing his red eye and completely damaged face.

Anthony:*to WFG* Allow me to introduce - Xander Sal, the Lieutenant of the White Fang Vale Branch.

WFG: Glad to you comrade, Sal. I'm from the Atlas Branch.

The four run to a elevator that Anthony sabotages.

David: Step 2?!

Crowd: Ascend from darkness!!

They go into the elevator with other Vorkuta prisoners. Xander retrieves a pickaxe before entering himself. Before the elevator was ascending up, a White Fang Prisoner converses with WFG if she can trust the two humans.

White Fang Prisoner:*to WFG* Kobi, you sure you can trust these two humans?

Kobi: With my life. They and us are not so different. We are all soldiers without an army... Betrayed... Forgotten... Abandoned. In Vorkuta, we are ALL brothers and sisters...

Anthony:*smiles at Kobi* Ain't that the truth.

The prisoner nods approvingly at David and Anthony. The elevator comes up with a SDc guard shooting several prisoners with a pistol. Xander is allowed out of the elevator first, then uses his pickaxe to kill the soldier, ripping him to shreds. David, Kobi, Anthony, Xander and the prisoners run to a heavy steel door.

David: Xander, your men must know this is suicide.

Xander: Victory cannot be achieved without sacrifice, Humans. We Faunus in the White Fang know this better than anyone. Prepare yourselves, men!!

The door opens and the prisoners are gunned down by the Atlas MGs. David, Kobi, Anthony and Xander run to cover behind a Dust cart.

David: Kobi, over here!

Prisoner: The tower's going to rip us to shreds!

Kobi: Have faith, comrade!

Kobi, Anthony and Xander begin pushing the cart, David providing cover. Across the area, three prisoners push another Dust cart forward, flanking the MGs in the guard tower.

Anthony: All across Vorkuta, our comrades will rise to the cause! Yes, yes my friends!

Anthony: Step 3?!

Kobi: Rain fire!

Anthony: See how our ingenuity turns junk into weapons.

The prisoners pushing the other cart get close enough to then take out the tower with a Slingshot.

David: OORAH! Never lose faith, my friends, NEVER! Months of planning, guys. We will not pause. We will not falter. We will be free, or die trying!

Megaphone: Increased disorder in the whole camp confirmed.

Anthony kicks open the door to the building.

Anthony: This way! Xander! Break open the arms lockers! Kobi, climb the tower and support the uprising in the south!

Xander repeatedly bashes the door while Kobi, Anthony and David run upstairs

Kobi:*to David* What about you, sir?

David: For our plan to work, we need every man and woman to play their part.

Kobi: Step four... Unleash the horde...

David: I'll rally the men!

Anthony and Kobi continues running to the roof. Two prisoners stand waiting with a slingshot, as many prisoners are seen escaping.

Faunus Prisoner: Ready the slingshot! Kobi, let's go! Take out the three MG towers!

Megaphone: The identity of the leaders is established. That is Anthony Towson and David Fernandes of the American Marines! Order to eliminate/recapture have been authorized.

David:*on the loudspeaker* Brave comrades of Vorkuta, the time has come to rise against our oppressors! Today, we show them the hearts of true Revolution! We have all given our blood for the Freedom. We have answered it's calls without question. We gave our youth, our hearts, our very souls for it's protection. As brothers and sisters, we fought side by side against the Atlas fascists. We crawled through dirt and blood and sand to achieve our glorious victory... Not for medals, or glory... But for what was right. We fought for revenge... When Vale was attacked, how did our enemies repay us? We captured not to the rapturous welcome... but to terrorist and persecution. In the eyes of our leaders we were already fighters for Freedom and Democracy. Torn from the arms of our loved ones, we found ourselves here... this place... this, this terrible place. Here we have languished, with no hope for release... No hope for justice. We have toiled in Jacques' mines until the flesh peeled from our bones... We have watched our comrades succumb to sickness, harassment and disease... We have been starved. We have been beaten. But we will not be broken! Today, we will send a message to our corrupt and arrogant Atlas leaders. Today, my comrades... Vorkuta - BURNS!!!

The three MG towers are taken down.

Crowd: YEEEAHHHH!!!!!

Anthony: This way! Arm yourselves, comrades! Reinforcements will soon arrive to defend the main armory!

Kobi retrieves a shotgun.

Anthony and David see a military crate with the Russian Loyalist logo on it. Both men nodded and Anthony begins entering a code.

The crate opens to show two KS-23 Shotguns with speedloaders, vests and plenty of 4ga shells.

Anthony: It's like Christmas morning.

Anthony and David retrieves a KS-23s and put on the vests.

Xander: Just as we planned.

Faunus Prisoner: How do we achieve Step 5?

David: Towson's weapon will soon be ready. Shoot the lock, K!

Kobi shoots the lock and opens the fence. The prisoners engage incoming guards.

Anthony: Forward men, we will burn this Hell hole to the ground! Spare no one! NO MERCY FOR THESE HERETICS!!

David, Kobi, Anthony, Xander and several other prisoners fight through until an SDC Bullhead shows up.

David: The Bullhead is here! Good!

Faunus Prisoner: How is this good?

David: Because it is as we wish.

Kobi: Step five...

David: Skewer the winged beast! Quickly, Kobi.

Kobi hurries over to a place where there is a Shotgun with a Harpoon attachment

Anthony: This way! Upstairs! Get to the harpoon!

Kobi: Let's hope this works!

The two prisoners with the Shotgun Harpoon are killed by the SDC Bullhead's machine guns.

Xander: Kobi! Grab the harpoon! Choose your moment.

Kobi destroys the Bullhead with the harpoon

Anthony: OORAH!!!

Crowd: HOORAH/OORAH!!!

David, Kobi, Anthony and Xander head downstairs.

Xander:*laughs* You all know what to do!

David, Kobi, Anthony, Xander and other prisoners enter the main hall of the complex.

Xander: Have no fear! Flank, flank around! Push forward!

They clear out the main hall.

Anthony: Up the stairs! Go! Go, go! Take no prisoners!

White Fang Prisoner: You heard him, comrades!

They head up the stairs to another hallway.

White Fang Prisoner: They're trying to lock down the armory!

David: Stop them! Keep firing! FIGHT! They are trying to seal the door!

Kobi makes a run for the garage door. Xander appears out of a doorway and tries to hold open the garage door.

Kobi: Lieutenant!

Anthony: Xander cannot hold it much longer! Hurry people, hurry!

Kobi and other prisoners slips under the door. Xander is wounded by gunfire.

Anthony: NO!!! Kobi, more guards are coming! Get this door OPEN!

Kobi opens the door. David, Anthony and more Prisoners move through the door as a few pick up Xander.

David: Upstairs, let's go!

Faunus Prisoner: The roof! I hear them on the roof!

Anthony: They too will be lambs to the slaughter!

They head upstairs

Faunus Prisoner: Sirs, they have sealed the vault!

David: It matters little.

Kobi: Step Six.

David: Wield a torch of liberty. This way! More reinforcements! We have little time!

David, Anthony and Kobi head across a walkway to a garage. Below more guards arrive in trucks and on motorcycles.

White Fang Prisoner: They're trying to breach!

Anthony: Do not let them! There! The blowtorch will suit our needs!

Shadow Company Troops breach the garage, including a pair of machine gun wielding Juggernaut Heavy Troopers.

David: Keep me covered! Clear a path for me, guys!

Kobi, Anthony, David and other prisoners head across the walkway to the security room where David uses the blowtorch to open the vault

David: Concentrate your fire! Keep them off me, guys!

More SC and Juggernauts arrive to stop the rioting prisoners from opening the main armory vault.

White Fang Prisoner: They've broken through. Pull back! Pull back!

Anthony: Get that vault open - NOW!

David: Almost there... Stand your ground! Everyone, keep them off me! Concentrate your fire!*burns the lock of the main armory vault* Yes!!

David opens the vault.

David: Ant! Grab that Minigun!

Anthony:*seeing the Minigun* What the fuck?! That's a M134 Minigun! Where the hell did they-fuck it! Time to rip and tear!

Anthony grabs the handheld M134 Minigun and the White Fang Prisoner carries the ammunition and battery backpack.

Anthony begins shredding SC and Juggernaut Heavy Troopers left and right.

David: Good work, you two!

Kobi, Anthony, David and the Prisoners exit the building, Anthony using the Minigun to gun down any stragglers, including Juggernaut troopers, who are no match for the 7.62x51mm NATO firepower going at Mach fuck.

David: Step 7 comrades?!

Crowd: Raise HELL!!!

Anthony: For honor! For vengeance! For our motherfucking Freedom!!!

Crowd: HOORAH/OORAH!!!!

They fight their way down the road

Anthony: Unleash our fury! Kill all who stand in our way. Kill them all! No mercy to these Atlas dogs!!! Burn this place to the ground, comrades! Die Scum of Remnant!

Megaphone: Use the gas!!

Anthony and David:*confused* Gas?*goes wide eye in shock* GAS?!

Kobi, Anthony, David and the Prisoners continue down a road into a clearing until gas is used on them.

David: They are using poisonous gas! KOBI!!!

The gas kills everyone but Kobi, Xander and the White Fang Prisoner. It dazes them, and Anthony and David grabs them straight to a garage.

Kobi wakes up in a garage with 3 motorcycles and prisoners entering trucks.

Anthony: The door will not hold them forever... We don't have much time... Within this shrine to the hypocritical decadence of Vorkuta's leaders, lays the key to step 8.

Kobi: Freedom.

Kobi, Anthony and David mount the motorcycles and drive out the separate windows as the trucks with the prisoners drive out through the garage door.

David: Come on people! Faster! Faster! There is the train! Hurry people!

Kobi: They're not lettin' us go without a fight!

Anthony: Then we'll give them a fight! Every body we drop! Is one more step for Freedom!!

Kobi, Anthony and David soon reach a blocked bridge and go around the right

David: This way! MG!!! Jump on the truckbed, Kobi! Get on the MG!

Kobi, Anthony and David hijack the truck.

Anthony: Keep on them!

Kobi engages enemies on motorcycles, trucks and a SC Bullhead gunship.

David: Where the fuck's the train?!!!

Anthony: There!!! Jump! Kobi! Jump! Go! Kobi! Go!

Kobi and all the other prisoners jumps on the train.

Xander: Your turn, Marines!!! Come on!!! Step 8, Marines - Freedom!

Anthony: For you guys... Not for us...

Kobi, Xander, White Fang Prisoner and all the prisoners: TOWSON/FERNANDES!!!!!

The truck stops as it approaches a roadblock as another SC and Atlas Bullhead arrives overhead. The train leaves.

The truck gets surrounded by SC troopers and Atlas Soldiers.

Then Falcon Greene and Jacques Schnee come out of the two Bullheads.

Anthony: Well shit.

David: You can say that again.

David says as the truck doors opened and both men were forcefully dragged out of the truck all the while Atlas soldiers and SC troopers punches or kicks the two.

Jacques: That's enough. I wanna see the faces of the soldiers who caused such a manner of destruction and death.

David:*groaning in pain* We're not soldiers. We're Marines.*gets kicked in the stomach* Ow! Bitch!

Jacques: Same thing, soldier boy.

David looks up at Jacques with a smug look on his face.

Jacques: What's with the face?

David: Good question, but I've got a better one, though. What's that thing on your face?

Jacques:*confused* What thing on my--

Anthony: MAH FIST!*punches Jacques in the face knocking a few teeth out*

SC troopers and Atlas Soldiers proceed to beat Anthony to the ground with him shouting, "Fuckin' worth it!!"

Falcon: Alright, alright. That's enough ass beating on the tall guy.

The flashback ends and we see USMC Captain David Fernandes in a wheelchair in Arlington Cemetery, Virginia for Anthony Towson's funeral.

David(narrating): Why is one man spared, while another taken? To this day, I couldn't give you an answer. But death comes for us all, eventually. When you lose over thirteen thousand men, women and Faunus in six hours, it's easy for one death to become just another number. But all I knew was my best friend was gone, and a part of me wished that I had been taken instead. The dead - they've settled their debts. It's up to the living to pick up the tab.

October 12th, 2038

In front of him was the grave of USMC Captain Anthony S. Towson with the American flag on top of his coffin as Yang is seen giving the eulogy for her brother-in-arms/Older brother figure.

Yang: And so it is time to say farewell to Captain Anthony Spain Towson. A man I had the privilege, honor to call my older brother and by under his command. A life is only important in proportion to its impact on the lives of others. By this standard, Captain Towson ranks among one of our very best.

Yang pauses attempting not to cry. Flowers are on the left, and people are in front of David, sitting down, among these being Anthony's children and two newborns, Glynda, Coco, Harriet, Mina and both Anthony's immediate family and extended family. Ruby, Blake and Sienna is standing next to Anthony's coffin. Looking behind reveals a photograph of Anthony next to the flowers, as well as fifteen Marines. Two of them was Nora and Otto.

Yang: He leaves behind family, friends, fellow Marines, fellow NATO troops and a grateful nation.*looks at the coffin as a single tear went down her eye* We'll miss you AT.

Frank rises to pay respects, followed by Yang, Blake, Ruby, Sienna, Glynda, Coco, Harriet, Mina, Tom, William, Anthony's children, Anthony's brothers and sisters and US President Lincoln Clinton. David does so also, rolling a bit since his last mission left him crippled and bound to said wheelchair. Sienna push his wheelchair following President Lincoln Clinton and Frank.

Sienna:*to David* I'm sorry, love. Anthony was one of our best. Look, we take care of our own. If you ever need anything we're always there for you.

David: Thank you, Sienna. I really appreciate it.

President Lincoln Clinton approaches them.

Lincoln: Excuse me, Captain Fernandes?

Lincoln shakes David's hand.

David: Mr. President.

Sienna: Mr. President, I'm sorry for the loss, sir. David and Anthony told me that you were their former Commanding Officer during the war.

Lincoln: I'm sorry too, Sienna. David, you were Anthony's best friend and brother-in-arms. You both paid too high a price for your country, NATO, SATO, ROM, Africa, Vale, Vacuo and Mistral.

David: It was an unfortunate tragedy, Lincoln.

Lincoln: It was more than unfortunate David. Son, I want to offer you a second chance.

David:*raised eyebrows* A second chance?

Sienna: Mr. President with respect, my husband has been discharged from the Marines. With his leg injuries--

Lincoln: I'm aware of his injuries, Sienna. In Canada and here in the US, we have prosthetics that are twenty years beyond anything the military could offer you. I know what kind of Marine you are and were. You deserve to fight for the military that's as effective as you are. Think about it. Don't let Ant's death be in vain.*to Sienna* But both of you can make that decision.

Lincoln hands David a business card. It is electronic, and displays the Lockheed Martin logo and the CEO's info. In the background, marines are firing gunshots in respect.

On the second gunshot, the scene suddenly changes to Emerald Forest as we see David Fernandes running and jumping about 20ft in the air as we see him wearing USMC PT shorts and his titanium and tungsten prosthetic legs with fortified ankles, reinforced tendons and a special tech called Lynx Paws, allowing him to move and run more quietly. The sound of his footsteps will not carry as far as sharpest hearing.

It also made him three inches taller.

David's enhanced mobility and heightened capabilities due to his prosthetic legs offer a glimpse into the possibilities that technology can provide, even in the face of physical challenges.
