Shido took a bath and came downstairs and headed to the kitchen. It was a long time since he had a hot water shower. After everything on earth was destroyed by him , he just used to completely replace all the layers of his skin by regenerating new layers everyday , since there was no water to take a bath. Regardless he went towards the counter and took out a few utensils . He took a large utensil and mixed the ingredients like flour , milk , butter etc and mixed them thoroughly.

He placed a pan in the stovetop and poured some oil on it. As soon as the oil had heated up he poured some of the flour over it. Soon a sweet smell wafted through the room. It was definitely a lot better than the smell of gunpowder or the the weird smell of uranium that used to be left after a nuclear explosion. He seriously hated them. He had almost lost count of the number of times his body was incinerated by a nuke. However the smell of the pancake being ready on one side quickly grabbed his attention as he hurriedly rushed towards the pan before flipping the pancake on the other side. He let out a deep sigh. Seriously, what was he doing. This wasnt the time to reminisce about the past . He didn't want to worry the others .

He saw that a girl with red hair came into the dining room along with tohka. She was of course kotori, his adopted sister. He smiled as he was placing the pancakes on the plates, making sure to put an extra portion for tohka, given her appetite. . He was broken out of his trance as kotori saw him smiling as he was looking towards her and tohka and she asked him in a haughty tone ," Oi ! Shido ! Have you finally embraced your inner degeneracy and fallen so low that you're eying your own sister ? Heh, maybe I should start calling you a lolicon from now on . "

Shido raised an eyebrow at kotori's strange question but finally realized what was going on after seeing that she had black ribbons on her hair . This means she was in her ' commander mode ' as she called it. Normally he would have either panicked and try to deny her accusation or merely pay no heed to her words. However as he had matured from his past self and he was no longer a mere shy and naive teenager , he smirked as he retorted her jab and said,
" If my tastes in girls are any indication, I'm not a lolicon. And even if I was , I'd be hard pressed to fall in love with you and your..... great plains . Yeah... Let's go with that ! Honestly I sometimes worry whether you'll find a man for marriage kotori... "

As he had finished speaking, kotori saw that his gaze was fixed towards her chest. However instead of a lustful gaze that a man would have when staring at a woman's chest his gaze was, that of pity . She immediately covered her chest with her hands and as her whole face had turned red out of embarrassment. She shouted and said ," You - You ! Stupid Shido ! You definitely have become a pervert !" As she finished speaking, Shido raised his arms in defence as he said, " Come on , I was just messing with you . A little teasing never hurt anyone. "

Kotori surprised by this pointed her finger towards him and asked him in a accusatory tone , " Shido never teases me. Who are you and what have you did with my brother ?! " Shido sighed as he said, " Oh wow . I tease you once and you start doubting whether I'm your brother . Should I start listing the times you got scared of things like spiders or the dark and how I had to calm you down ?"

Upon hearing this kotori's suspicions were cleared as only Shido could know about these things. However as the realisation of what he had said hit her, she began to shout in a flustered tone ,
" Shut up ! Shut up !" Seeing his sister's antics , Shido let out a small chuckle . Seeing this tohka interrupted Shido as she said, " Shido. You shouldn't fight with kotori-San like that. "

Upon hearing this, Shido merely went up to tohka and gently patted her hair and said, " Don't worry tohka, this is just playful banter between siblings. Kaguya and Yuzuru do it all the time too don't they ? " While tohka was slightly curious why Shido was headpatting her more than usual, she decided to not pay any attention as for her Shido's headpats were like kinako bread. She was always happy to receive them , even if she already had enough. She only responded to Shido with a simple nod.

Kotori seemed to want to have a few words with her brother but stopped as she heard a slew of voices coming towards the dining room. These of course, belonged to the other girls who had most likely come to visit Shido early in the morning as today was a day off. Soon , yoshino, kaguya, Yuzuru, origami,kurumi , natsumi , and mukuro entered the room. This was understandable as they lived right next door . However what was strange was that they were also accompanied by miku , Nia , riene and Ellen. This was strange as this was early in the morning and miku and Nia stayed in their own homes while Ellen and reine used to stay aboard the Fraxinus. Not that she minded them of course. Not counting yoshino who was like a little sister to him , the others were the part of the harem that he managed to build while trying to save the world. She was glad that her brother was not a pervert or a horny bastard as if he gathered this many girls without trying, god knows what would have happened if he was actually trying. She really didn't want a girl showing up at their doorstep with an infant in her arms claiming to be his wife. If that really happened, she would immediately castrate him with camael . Ugh ! Why was she thinking such weird things ? Her older brother had definitely messed up her mind by talking about things like marriage early in the morning. She shook her head and tried to clear her thoughts.

Shido's eyes wandered towards the group that had just entered the room. He truly was resisting the urge to embrace all of them . He saw natsumi trying to strike up a conversation with yoshino while still trying to avoid miku who like always was desperately trying to hug her and also do , as natsumi called them "Scary Things " to her. Natsumi had a tendency of doubting herself and if there was one thing that he wanted her to improve about herself was her self deprecating attitude. Regardless of it, he hadn't given up on her in the past and he sure wasn't going to do it now. There were also the yamai sisters, kaguya and Yuzuru. Kaguya was being her usual chunni self while Yuzuru was teasing her with a monotone voice. Then there was kurumi with her usual calm composure. But he knew that it was just a facade as all he had to do was tease her once and she would turn into a blushing mess. He saw that origami was there beside her too. While she and tohka often got into petty squabbles with each other, it was greatly reduced after her becoming a spirit . The new addition ( or old from his perspective ) was mukuro. She was not as quick as origami to get into fights with tohka, but she was just as if not more competitive. There was also Nia , who because of her clothing style, short hair and her slightly tomboyish behaviour could easily lead to others mistaking her for a boy. He still vividly remembered how once she had accompanied him to a store and the old lady at the counter nearly mistook Nia for his brother. Seeing her embarrassed expression was truly a Golden Experience for him. However what annoyed Shido was that he could smell the scent of alcohol all over Nia. Sure due to her being avid drinker she was pretty tolerant and could function just fine even after downing multiple mugs of beer but for it was in her whole bests interests that she regulate her alcohol intake especially in the morning. Normally she would be safe as there was only an extremely faint scent of alcohol, but when your olfactory sense is equal to a black bear , whose sense of smell is better than most dogs, hardly any smell can be hidden from you. He definitely was going to berate her on it. He sweared that if he saw another can of beer with her , he definitely was going to crush it like a human skull. He paused for a few moments and mentally facepalmed himself for his choice of words. After getting used to threatening humans for nearly more than a decade, his vocabulary had gotten..... Slightly harsh for lack of a better term. He had to think twice before speaking from now on, lest he seem out of character. He was also slightly surprised by the arrival of reine and Ellen ( not that he minded of course, on the contrary he was more than happy ) . Ellen was created as part of an government experiment when the government tried to recreate the power of cultivators. She was created with the specifications of a supreme Magus, though since she lacked magic circuits of her own due to essentially being a pseudo homunculus, she had to rely on external tools like realizers to make use of magic , though she was skilled enough to go against a genuine Grand Magus on equal footing . He still remembered how after snapping out of her mind control after being defeated when tohka underwent inversion , she joined ratatoskr. While everyone was slightly doubtful of her in the beginning , after his own attempts to get along with her , everyone warmed up to her in the end. And then , there was, reine.... A true goddess. She first arrived on earth when her soul was forcefully summoned by accident by Issac , Karen and Elliott. She was born in the heavens but she had died in a fight with a mystical beast when she was on the planet penglai which was abundant in herbs used in alchemy and thus her soul was brought to the collective unconscious where she would soon have started recreating her body and returned to the heavens, or atleast she would have until she was accidentally and forcefully summoned to earth, which caused the first spacequake. It was after this that she met him or as he was rather known at that time , shinji and fell in love with her. His first love.....

The reason for her being in the collective unconscious was because gods were not immortal in the truest sense. When a normal human died , their soul would go to the collective unconscious and stay there for a while as it was erased of its memories and later would reincarnate randomly somewhere in the cosmos. However when it came to gods , what happened with them was , sure their souls did travel to the collective unconscious but they were not erased of their memories there. Rather the collective unconscious functioned as a sort of pitstop for them as their souls would wait their for a while, recuperate Numen and then they could choose where their bodies would be formed anywhere in the cosmos. They could keep creating new body as long as their soul was intact. Dismissing these useless thoughts aside, he took a look at reine's face . She was just as beautiful as the day he had lost her, when she took her final breaths in his arms as the polluters were wiped out. He didn't want to lose her or the others once again. The mere thought that he could lose her abhored him .

He was broken from his train of thought as the other girls wished him good morning. He flashed a gentle smile and greeted them in return. He saw that miku took a step towards him and had a face of mock sadness as she said faking a sad voice ,
" Darling, natsumi-San refuses to hug me. I'm feeling sooo lonely . Darling, won't you pleease hug me ?" She had a slightly flirtatious tone in the end , while the others shaked their head in disappointment as they were used to miku's antics at this points . They expected Shido to be slightly embarrassed and brush aside her request by shifting the topic to most likely to how the breakfast was getting cold or some other stupid reason and too a certain extent, even miku expected such . Not that it mattered to her of course, she would still keep trying as until she achieved success.

However to everyone's surprise, Shido merely sighed and then embraced miku in a hug. Everyone including miku were left speechless as Shido was the kind of guy who would jump off a building to prove his love but would chicken out when it came to simple physical contact.

Miku was confused yet happy. She wasn't exactly going to complain when Shido was hugging her. Shido on the other hand was ecstatic as he now had a genuine reason to hug her. He embraced miku even tighter and gently ruffled miku's hair. At this moment, he was truly on cloud nine. Her silky smooth hair between his fingers, her warm breath on his chest , her soft..... No ! He screamed internally as his thoughts began to take on a twisted turn. He was a warrior, The Scion Of Darkness ! Not some breast obsessed demon ! He then did the only thing that he could to purge the evil thoughts in his head . He began to recite Yonte's theorem of homunculus formation .
" Assuming an optimal value of 10^-21 aeterion units of the homunculus core , one can extrapolate that a large degree of the energy is utilized for the cortical processes. The other large portion is diverted to the presence of the pseudo circuits for utilisation of mana. The mana is always utilized in the ratio of a constant of 10^-16 aeterion units. The value remains constant regardless of the other factors which include surrounding mana concentration, presence of defects in the homunculus core and the simulated species of the homunculus. However the factors affecting the constant include ......."

Before Shido could finish reciting the complete theorem which was 3272 pages in length ( with an additional 794 pages if one took into account the calculations of the theorem ) he was broken out of his trance by Ellen who faked a cough as she inquired with a totally- non - threatening tone which held absolutely no malice or jealously in her voice " How long are you going to, ummm.... Keep hugging miss izayoi , Shido ? " Yup , there was absolutely no jealously . Shido took a step back, separating him from miku and scratched his head with an embarrassed expression as he said , " Ah, sorry about that. I hope you don't mind it miku. Okay now everyone, to the dining table! We don't want the food to get cold now do we ? "

       After the spectacle that they witnessed , everyone silently headed to the table and seated themselves. Shido internally cursed himself for his lack of self control. Nevertheless he began to eat his breakfast silently. However he noticed that everyone was staring at him. He raised a brow and simply asked , " What ?" Reine was the first to speak as she said , " It's just that your portion today is quite large. It's almost equal to the servings that tohka eats . Which would be unusual for any human.... "

          Shido mentally screamed at his incompetence. What the actual hell was wrong with him ?! How could he make so many blunders in such a short span ?! He was an expert when it came to acting roles ! He had changed his appearance to the family members and acquantainces of people in high ranked positions  just so he could assassinate them in their homes , or sometimes even on live television to spread terror through the populace. He didn't mean to brag but he was so good at copying someone's personality after devouring their souls that most of the times not even their own families could tell that the person they knew had been replaced . And here he was Failing To Act Like His Own Past Self ! He could simulate the personality of any other individual but he couldn't simulate his Own Bloody Personality ! What in the goddamn world was wrong with him ?!

           However seeing that the others were still looking at him, waiting for an answer , he steadied himself. He replied in a calm manner, " I was just feeling a bit hungry. I didn't had enough food last night , so I was feeling hungry because of it.  " While everyone was not completely convinced with Shido's explanation but they nevertheless decided to let it slide.

       However mukuro who was sitting close to Shido spoke up with a worried expression as she said, " Nushi-sama, you mustn't go to bed on half filled stomach. From now on muku will cook food for you everyday ! Maybe mukuro could even feed you by.... " Tohka immediately responded to mukuro's statement and said, " No need ! I'll be the one to make delicious food for Shido from now on !"  Origami too joined in as expected and said, " If anyone should cook for Shido , it should be me . " One could almost sense the fierce competition between them just by a single glance. However the thing was, both of them were forgetting the essential fact that out of all of them, the only ones who could make a decent meal ( or with some of them, something edible) were natsumi , Ellen and to a certain extent, reine .

Before Shido could say anything, kaguya spoke up in her usual prideful tone as she said, " Kuhaha ! Worry not Shido ! I shall prepare a meal for you that will be worthy of the dark gods themselves ! After that feel free to offer me your praises !" Yuzuru however, in line with her usual self interjected her and said ,
" Objection . Kaguya is not capable of making food. You destroyed the box itself when you tried to make cup noodles last time. "  Hearing this kaguya blushed furiously and replied embarrassedly , "Sh-Shut Up ! That wasn't my fault ! That was.... Yes ! That was the fault of the creatures of darkness interfering with my as they were scared of my superior skills ! "
Yuzuru merely snickered and said, " Retort . Kaguya's mental capacity is the same as her chest size. " And that one single sentence was enough to make kaguya silent out of sheer embarrassment as she knew that however unfortunate , it was the truth.

           On the other side of the table, right in front of Shido , natsumi began to mumble in a low and depressed tone ,"  Um , maybe I could make food for Shido... No , why would he try to eat my food when his food is clearly tastier. It's not like I could even entice him with my beauty like miku or tohka. My chest is even smaller than kaguya. Maybe I should just.... " And there she was. Once again with her self deprecating thoughts. Shido sighed and got up and made his way towards natsumi. Natsumi was slightly surprised and before she could say anything Shido flicked her forehead with his finger. She slightly winced and closed her eyes and thought to herself, " This is it. Shido has finally gotten tired of me , so he is going to discard me. He has no longer any interest in me and even my adult form can no longer entice him. He has both mukuro, reine-san and Ellen-San too. I can neither match mukuro's cuteness nor the mature factor of reine-San or Ellen-San. Besides, it's for the best as someone as I don't deserve someone kind and caring as Shido , so it's for the best that...."

           Before she could continue her depressing train of thought, Shido interrupted her by headpatting her and saying, " You don't have to be so harsh on yourself natsumi. I'll definitely try out the food that you make , since the last time you made rice balls, I really did enjoy them. And I said it last time too didn't I , You really are beautiful natsumi. And I really do care about you. And I certainly am not so shallow as to dislike you because of your chest size you know. "

       Natsumi wasn't just happy, she was ecstatic after hearing Shido's words. She really did love Shido. And hearing him reciprocate her affection made her feel that her love truly was worth it. The others looked at natsumi in and though they would be lying if they said they weren't slightly jealous , although even they were happy for her as they considered her as an important friend. Shido then clapped his hands to gain the attention of everyone as he said, " Well , since all of us are here today, how about we all go to the mall together ? I wanted to purchase some groceries anyway, so how about it ?"

        Everyone nodded their heads in approval as reine said in her usual calm voice , " I hope I can finally get my hands in some creampuffs. They always are out of stock whenever I try to get them ." Shido sweatdropped as he remembered that reine had a massive sweet tooth. He looked towards Nia and said in a strict tone ," And before we go Nia, keep in mind, I'm not going to let you pick crates of beer and cup noodles again. " Nia opened her mouth to protest but she was quickly shut down by Shido as he said, " If you want, from now on you can join us every night for dinner, I don't mind it. And as for lunch, you can either join us again or maybe I'll bring food at your home for you . " Nia was surprised as she asked with a shocked expression , "  Does that mean I can have both lunch and dinner with you everyday , shounen ?

Shido replied in a casual manner as he said, " Of course. And as usual, the offer extends to all of you. As long as you don't have any problems coming here every night, I'll be more than happy to have all of you here. "
The spirits nodded in unison once again as for them any opportunity to be with Shido just a bit more was a plus in their book. The fact that they would get to eat delicious hand cooked meals by Shido instead of the tasteless package or food from restaurants was just a cherry on the top.

         Before Shido could seat himself kurumi spoke up and said ," Ara- Ara , how kind of you to say such things shido-san . However I had a suggestion for everyone, so to speak. Considering we are already going to the mall , how about we purchase additional ingredients so that all of us can have a little competition ? Each of us will make a particular dish and we'll judge each others dishes. It'll be a fun little activity and whoever wins gets to go on a date with Shido-san , so how about it ? " The girls raised their hands and cheered in unison while Shido merely sighed while kotori smirked as they both knew that some drama was definitely going to happen tonight.

             Shido admired his surroundings as he was walking through the mall . The only time he got to experience the comfort of air conditioning was when he was busting through some high ranked government official's home . And how was the supposed to enjoy his surroundings when he was busy killing a bunch of soldiers while his body was being riddled with bullets. It was almost perfect. The surroundings were cool. There was no danger of a random nuke being dropped on him, no sniper trying to blow a 5 inch hole through his skull, he had the women he loved along his side and even his sisters ! He would definitely enjoy it more , if not for the fact that he had to carry a goddamn number of bags ! Seriously, what the hell ?! Why the hell would anyone buy multiple copies of the same accessories which differ from each other only by miniscule amounts in the colour spectrum ! There was no way in hell something could change his mind and justify the concept of shopping for clothes. However Shido's train of thought was interrupted by miku's voice as she asked steeping out of the dressing room with the others following her ," Darling , How do I look ?  Do the clothes suit me ? " Miku was wearing a pink frock which revealed the perfect amount of her chest. Not to concealing, while not too revealing. Besides her was natsumi who had a shy expression as she wore a cute frock with a brow near the neck. Each of the spirits wore different yet beautiful clothes , ranging from kaguya and Yuzuru's matching black and white polka dots dresses to kurumi's elegant black European styled ball gown to Nia's unorthodox cream coloured t shirt with trousers. The real kicker for him however was when reine and Ellen stepped out of the changing room  with an embarrassed look while wearing.... Maid outfits. Maid outfits.... MAID OUTFITS ! His mouth was left side open. Miku seeing his reaction giggled a bit and inquired in a teasing manner, " I see you too are captivated by reine-san's and Ellen-San's outfits. I thought it would look good on them.  What do you think, darling ?" Shido did not reply however he merely raised his thumb showing his approval. Miku giggled once again and said, " Geez darling, if you like it that much I'll let you know that I took a bunch of their photographs from different angles in my phone. If you want, I'll send so- "  Before miku could finish her sentence, Shido shouted on top of his voice, " I'll take all of them !" Hearing this the other spirits were shocked and internally cursed themselves why the didn't wear maid outfits too while Ellen and reine merely covered their faces with their hands out of shame. Miku however smirked, because with this, she had proven , that as long as she found the right trigger, it was possible to excite Shido . And as long as she could excite Shido, she had a reason for convincing the other girls to wear , Slightly provocative dresses. It was a win-win scenarios for everyone. Shido would get to see everyone ( including her ) in cute outfits, the girls would have the chance of getting more intimate with Shido if they managed to excite him enough and she would have a valid excuse for getting the others to dress up in cute outfits. Maybe if she was lucky she would get to see her Darling in a butler outfit or maybe Shiori-San in a maid outfit or maybe she could have herself sandwiched between maid shiori and butler Shido. She mentally drooled at her thoughts but decided to brush them off for the time being as she didn't want Shido to think of her as weird or strange. Shido however, had only one thought in his mind ," To the person that invented shopping malls , I sincerely apologize for everything I said. And to the guy who invented maid outfits, you were a Fucking Genius ! "

Soon everyone steeped out of the shop while Shido carried the bags. He was no longer complaining in his mind and was even thinking that if he got to a chance to see such beautiful visions again, he would be more than happy to accompany the girls on their shopping sprees. Even if ratatoskr ran out of its budget, he would happily himself pay for everything. If worst came to worst, he could just steal all the gold in Fort Knox like he did in his past life. Besides, since gold once melted is untraceable unlike bank notes , it was easier to use. He had a huge grin on his face while thinking about all this.  Reine seeing this asked in a slightly annoyed tone , " Why are you still grinning ? And what was with that perverted behaviour back at the store ?" Shido defended himself by saying, " Oh come on ! You can't blame me ! Any man would react in the same way on seeing a cute girl in a cute outfit. " Reine, embarrassed by Shido's words said while slightly stuttering ," Don't say such things in public !" . Shido laughed it off as he found her behaviour extremely cute. Right now , even if his body was hollowed out by a bunch of bullets , it would still not take away his smile from his face. His thoughts were interrupted when he saw a group of badly dressed men heading towards him. One of the punks went towards reine and whistled while gawking at her body . He said to her in a disgusting tone ," Hey babe. How about you leave this loser porter and come with us ? We can definitely show you a good time. Maybe your friends here could join us too rather than staying with this twerp . "
Reine wasn't just angry upon hearing this, she was outright disgusted. If she wanted, she could erase them and the entirety of the mall with her angel 'Ain Soph Aur ' . However doing this would definitely cause the AST to rush here and she had no intention of jeopardizing the lives of everyone, especially Shido. The other spirits with their powers sealed were normal human girls. However, Ellen was not a sealed spirit nor was she a normal human. And she definitely wasn't going to sit quietly while these insulted HER Shido . She quickly went towards the man and ended up hiting his crotch with her knee. The man screamed in pain while one  of his partners tried to help him while the other tried to attack her . Although she hadn't activated her realizer , her body was definitely stronger physically than a normal human. Thus she spun and delivered a round house kick towards the other goon's face. He stumbled and fell down as a small amount of blood started to flow from his mouth. His friends picked him up and the other goon and ran away from there. Ellen expected these as she had already determined that these punks were like rabid dogs. All bark and no bite.  The surrounding people cheered on seeing Ellen's display and how she put the punks in their place. Ellen smirked as she and the other spirits made their way towards the small cafe while Shido displayed a wide mouthed expression on his face.

        The group seated themselves in the corner of the restaurant. There were very few people around them as it wasn't the rush hour, hence the restaurant seemed to be almost deserted except for a few groups of people that sat on the other end. Shido kept the bags aside and sighed. He replied in an apologetic tone as he said, " Sorry about that everyone. Because of me you had to go through all that. I should have atleast did something at that time....."  Ellen placed a hand on his shoulder and said, " You have nothing to apologize about. You have no need to involve yourself with those low lives . Besides, those guys can't even dream about the dangers you have faced. " This was definitely true as hardly any human could pride themselves in the fact of having fought in space against a demi goddess, much less fighting several goddesses and surviving to tell the tale. Shido flashed a gentle smile towards Ellen and said , " Thanks, I needed that." Shido then got up from his seat and told everyone, " I'll just return in a few minutes from the washroom. Till then you guys order something for everyone. " Saying this , he made his way outside the cafe since the cafe lacked a washroom, he had to make use of the washroom that the mall had on another floor . As Ellen had said, none of the girls were angry towards Shido. They knew that Shido who didn't like to get into fights with others.  He was too kind. Reine thought that Shido was perhaps too kind for his own good. Sometimes she was thankful that he wasn't a cultivator, since among cultivators, killing, tricking or stealing from their own family members just to get their hands on a treasure or artifact that could strengthen them or help in cultivation was pretty common . Someone as kind as Shido wouldn't survive a single hour before being tricked or killed within just a few days without protection. She shook her head to get rid of the negative thoughts. She herself just wanted a simple and quiet life with Shido. She didn't mind him having the other girls. Although the greatest obstacle in her path was that she and the other spirits were in essence immortal , while he and Ellen weren't. While Ellen atleast had a chance that if they shifted and made their permanent residence in her birthplace, the heavens, given that she herself was at the supreme Magus rank, and given the mana purity of the heavens, she had a chance to ascend to the demigod rank and achieve immortality. Shido didn't have that privilege though. Therefore, what she was going to do was ,she was going to purchase a particular single use artifact known as a palash. This was often used when gods fell in love with mortals and wished to live a long time with their consorts. What this artifact did was , it linked a small pathway for the Numen to flow through the mortal and the god , so that the mortal could live and never grow old as long as the god lived. The difference between this and the connection between Shido and the spirits was that , while the palash allowed for Numen and mana or Qi to flow through it, the spiritual connection that Shido currently had only allowed mana or Qi, Not Numen . This meant that while currently Shido had a slowed rate of aging, he was still aging and was prone to dying. However once she purchased this artifact and used it on him, she could spend her life comfortably with him. They could live for a few decades on earth before finally moving to the heavens. There she could once again resume her career as an alchemist. The heavens were a dimension where gods were as common as regular humans on earth. While every individual was either a god or demigod , they were not equally string , neither were all of them battle crazy maniacs. Some of them were artists , creators , businessmen , anything that one could think of. Surely Shido could find a good job there. And if everything else failed , he could just start a restaurant there. While her opinion may be slightly biased, she definitely could say with certainty that Shido's food definitely rivaled some of the best foods she tasted in heaven. If nothing else, it was a million times better than the food she had to eat for centuries during her academic years . She sighed , thinking about the future , now that there were no more troubles heading their way, she could settle down for once. Even though it would be a bit strange that she would settle at such a young age of just ten thousand years [ Keep in mind it is common for god's to live several millennia or aeons , hence ten thousand years is the equivalent of a teenager who just became an adult. ]

Location : In an alleyway, Beside the mall.

            One could see the hooligans from earlier gathered together in a spot. There were a few additional people too , including a two women. The women were sitting on the laps of two men who themselves sat on bikes as they continued to make out with each other, not giving a care about the world around them. The two men who had their balls and face kicked sat on the ground with a squatting pose with a small icepack over the injured areas  with an annoyed face while their friends continued to make fun of them due to having their asses kicked by a single woman. Suddenly they heard the noise of approaching footsteps. They saw a blue haired boy walking towards them . The boy had an uncaring expression on his face. While not everyone recognized the boy , the ones present at the incident earlier definitely did. They shouted towards Shido , with venom evident in their voice, " Boss ! This was the brat that was with those bunch of chicks ! " The other man from earlier shouted , " Heh, maybe we should break a few of his bones to show him what happens when you go around flaunting your girls like that. " One of the girls glanced at Shido , while eying him and said ," Heh , he doesn't look too bad. Maybe I could keep him as a toy for myself, while you can take the girls. " The others laughed at her distasteful joke while Shido stayed silent. He scratched the back of his neck , and let out a deep sigh.

           He spoke in an extremely calm and composed tone as he said, " If there is one thing that I missed from the future, then it's definitely the fact that it was much cleaner..."
The hooligans in hearing his cryptic sentence were confused. Normally you'd expect the person on hearing this to be either scared or hell , even angry, not spout this cryptic bullshit. Shido once again began to speak as he said, " So much filth..... Everywhere you see , you find vermin scurrying around like maggots on a carcass. How revolting !" One of men shouted angrily and rushed towards Shido with an outstretched fist  while yelling,
" What the hell did you call me you little shit ?! "

         However before his fist could make contact with its target's face, faster than anyone could see, Shido caught a hold of his hand just above his wrists. Before he could react Shido yanked his hand as a loud cracking sound could be heard as everyone stared wide eyed at the boy who now had a dismembered wrist in his hand. The hooligan screemed and twisted in agony at the loss of his arm. He kept making incoherent noises due to the sheer pain that was caused due to crushed bones, torn vessels and ripped nerves.
          Shido then shook his hands downwards in a jerking motion to allow the excess blood to drop out of his hands. The others wide eyed at the strength of the young boy decided it would be stupid to take him on one on one. They began to encircle him as he was some sort of prey with various bludgeoning objects like bats , sticks and pipes in their hands. The boy however successfully kept dodging all their blows while successfully hitting all the men. His strikes were precise , and always aimed at the limbs, almost as if he was merely toying with them. The man who lost his wrist rushed towards the mouth of the alley , where he could atleast attract the attention of a cop. He could atleast get some treatment, while the boy would definitely face some legal action much worse than what they would face for grievously injuring someone. He stretched out his hands towards the light in hope of salvation, but quickly found that hope being destroyed as he found his hand colliding with some invisible wall. He kept hitting with his fist but the invisible wall didn't budge. He kept screaming on top of his lungs but the people walked right in front of him, not even noticing him , almost as if he wasn't even there. This was of course, because Shido had already set up a special barrier beforehand. This specific barrier was strong enough that unless a strike was made with an attack containing mana or Qi, it would even survive a grenade blast. On top of it , the barrier from outside could be given any appearance the user desired, in this case , the appearance of a concrete wall. Unless one was a cultivator, one could walk right past this barrier without knowing it even existed. For Mages, this was quite a rudimentary spell, yet quite an effective one.

        On the other hand , Shido kept hitting the others. Bones cracked , blood spilled and tendons snapped. However before Shido could attack one of the men once again, one of the women approached him from behind and dislodged a knife right through the back of his skull. He stumbled for a bit , before kneeling on the ground with a single knee. The hooligans laughed as one of them shouted , " Not so tough now, are you ya little shit ?! "

        However they soon heard a laugh that they were unfamiliar with. The laugh cane from the boy who was kneeling on the ground with a knife in his skull.  The laugh sent a chill up their spine as every cell of their body screamed to get way and run however they were so paralyzed with fear that they couldn't do so. He got up and dusted himself as he said, " I definitely have gotten more rusty than before. Guess not killing someone since a century dies that for you . Oh well ! "

         Saying this the boy caught a hold of the knife in his skull , however instead of pulling it out as one would expect, what he did was beyond anyone's expectations.

          He instead of pulling out the knife, dragged it to the front of his face as if he was tracing some imaginary line. Once a small split was formed, he placed both his hands between the wedge and began to pry it open untill the two halves of his head dangled freely on either side of his neck.  Laughter filled the alley. Screams of terror and despair rang through the air, seeking help but no one answered them .

          After a few minutes, one could see that Shido stood in the alley alone. The walls of the thin alley were painted blood red. On the ground, pieces of jaws, eyeballs, fingers and other parts littered in a grotesque manner. Shido himself was covered from head to toe in blood. It wouldn't be wrong for someone to think that he was bathed in blood. However Shido's sighed and placed his hand on the ground while kneeling down. From his hand his own blood emerged, before it seemed to somehow combine with the blood on the walls, on the ground and on his body. Once it had covered everything, the blood began to retract and along with it , the pieces of flesh that lay on the ground seemed to have somehow dissolved in the blood. The blood soon began to flow back into Shido. However Shido had not just absorbed their blood, no. He had also absorbed along with it the souls of those vermin before they could be summoned by the collective unconscious. The peculiarity of the cursed bloodline was that the individuals possessing it could also dissolve and absorb the souls of others. Once a soul was dissolved it was turned into pure Numen. The individual could then absorb this to further increase his cultivation. Because of this terrifying potential that the cursed bloodline possessed , the heavens drove them to extinction by hunting then down out of fear , that they may grow too powerful.

        Once Shido was done, the walls and the ground along with Shido seemed to be completely clean . No one could even dream that a bloody massacre had happened here which claimed the lives of multiple people. Shido's body then turned into a blob of blood which turned into a long , slender rope like structure which started to scale the walls before crawling into a vent. The vent would lead Shido back into the lavatories just a few floors above. No one could even think that a crime had taken place here. There were no bodies, no murder weapons, nor the fingerprints of the murderer as Shido had took extra care to make his fingerprints disappear from his fingers beforehand. It truly was, The Perfect Crime.....

         Shido rushed towards the table where everyone was sitting. He saw that the food was already served. He seated himself and asked, " I didn't keep you waiting for too long, did I ?" Mukuro replied with a tender smile on her face as she said, " Please do not worry Nushi-sama. They brought the food just a few minutes ago ." Kotori asked Shido that why he was a bit late. She said, " It doesn't take this long for someone to return from the washroom. Don't tell me you lost your way while coming here , Oni-chan ."

        Shido calmly replied as he said, " No it was just that they were distributing a few free samples of meatballs on my way back, so I decided to try them . " Tohka have a cute pout to Shido as she said, " Shido , you should have brought some for me too."
Shido smiled and replied calmly as he said,
" Don't worry tohka, those meatballs were absolutely trash. So disgusting that you'd hope you never see them again. And I don't think I ever will. But don't worry, I'll prepare a special and new dish for you today , okay ? I think we should start eating now !  " 

           Tohka smiled and gave him a nod. While the others were slightly confused as they felt that something was odd about Shido's tone, they decided to let it slide as he didn't exactly say anything wrong. After all, you don't just expect to run into random stall vendors again and again, do you ? Dismising it , they focused their attention at the food in front of them and enjoyed a hearty meal, unaware of the events that had transpired.....
