"Sorry to do this just as you come into the world, but..." Mami said as he trapped the witch in his yellow ribbons. "...I'm taking you out in one shot!!"

Mami summoned a giant gun and pointed it at the witch's direction.

"All right..." Sayaka cheered as usual while Madoka and I watched in awe.

Suddenly the small witch opened it's mouth, revealing a larger snake like witch with an enormous mouth and sharp teeth.

The witch made it's way in front of Mami, opening it's large mouth. My (e/c) eyes widened in horror realizing what the witch was about to do.

"...Eh?" Was all that left the confused Mami's mouth as he stood in front of the witch completely frozen.

"Mami look ou-!" I attempted to say as I tried running over to him, only to feel a sharp pain in my heart, causing me to fall to the ground and start coughing up blood.

I ran around for too long... It hurts...

Unfortunately Mami didn't hear the warning I tried to give him and the witch...

...bit his head off...

I ended up coughing up more blood as I starred at the grotesque sight in horror. I was used to seeing scenes like this in manga but I knew that it was all fake, this was all real.

"M-Mami...." I managed to cry out despite the blood that I coughed up.

"....Madoka! Sayaka! (Y/N)!" Kyubey said. "You have to decide on a wish!"

Madoka and Sayaka just stood there frozen in fear. I don't blame them, I'm scared too.

"You need to form a contract now!!" Kyubey said again.

I can't be scared right now, Mami would fight even if he was scared. And Madoka and I promised him that we'd fight alongside him after this fight. We can't keep that promise, but at the very least I could finish Mami's final fight!

I attempted to stand up as I wiped the blood from my mouth.

"Kyubey I-I'll do it!" I managed to say. "I-I wish-"

"No, there is no need for that."

I turned around seeing Homura spring into action.

"I'll take care of it." Homura said as he summoned his shield.

The witch tried to eat Homura multiple times but he dodged all of it's attempts. Homura quickly shot down the witch, turning it into a grief seed.

"Burn this scene into you're brain! If you become a magical girl/boy..." Homura said harshly. "...This is what you get!"

Homura then walked over to the grief seed and picked it up. Then he started to walk away.

"...Give it back." Sayaka spoke up.

Homura stopped in his tracks. Sayaka then ran over to Homura and grabbed onto his uniform.

"GIVE THAT BACK!" Sayaka shouted in a fit of rage. "THAT BELONGS TO MAMI!!"

Homura then slapped Sayaka away from him.

"Yes. This is meant for magical girls/boys." Homura said giving Sayaka a cold glare. "And you have no right to touch it!"

Homura continued to walk away as Madoka and Kyubey watched in silence and Sayaka starred at the ground.

"I'll still become a magical girl!" I shouted, making Homura stop and turn around again.

"What?!" Homura said in shock as I continued to speak.

"Even with the risk I'll fight to protect what Mami worked so hard to protect!" I shouted, ignoring the pain in my heart from earlier. "I don't care what will happen to me, I won't let Mami's death be vain!"

"No you won't!" Homura said.

"Huh?" I responded.

"I said that you won't become a magical girl! I don't care what you might have promised to Mami, you won't be making any contracts and becoming a magical girl!" Homura said, sounding a bit hurt.

"I-I couldn't keep my promise to him..." I cried, tears threatening to pour out of my (e/c) eyes. "I-I should at least take his place until I can't fight anymore..."

"No!" Homura said, surprisingly bringing me into a hug.

From the corner of my eye I could see an angry Sayaka but he couldn't gather enough strength to walk over to us and pull me out of Homura's hands.

"(Y/N), just promise me that..."

"(Y/N), are you alright?"

I opened my eyes to see the house nurse and Kyubey looking at me.

"I-I'm fine..." I said.

"You're heart rate started to go up so I was worried." The house nurse said. "I'm going to get you some water and medicine."

After the house nurse left my room, Kyubey spoke up.

"You were tossing and turning in you're sleep, are you sure that you're fine?"

"It was just a nightmare, though it felt really realistic." I said.

"What was it about?" Kyubey asked.

I went silent for a bit before speaking up again.

"Something I hope that will never come true..." I said.

Kyubey and I decided to go to Madoka's house early. After dealing with Madoka's mom, I told Madoka that there was somewhere that I needed to go to and left Kyubey with Madoka before either one of them could follow me.

I needed to find Homura and talk to him, that dream felt too real...and that's what worries me.

"It has accrued to me that I have no idea where to find Homura nor do I have any way to contact him..." I said to myself, unaware of the figure behind me.

"Why are you looking for me?" Homura asked right next to my ear, causing me to jump and nearly trip, only for Homura to catch me before I could fall to the ground.

"You nearly gave me a heart attack!" I said with a hand over my chest.

"Sorry, but I heard you say that you were looking for me..." Homura said.

"Well yes...um, I had a dream last night, well it was more like a nightmare... And it felt a little too real..." I said.

"What was it about?" Homura asked.

I then proceeded to tell Homura everything that I remember from the dream. Homura's eyes widened as soon as I told him.

"How did...you know all of that?" Homura asked.

"It was all in my nightmare." I said. "Why?"

"Because the event's that you just told me about are real..." Homura said. "...And they happen today."
