One day she gets an email asking for help with a volleyball fundraiser. Even though she isn't doing volleyball she convinces her mom to let her help.  When the time comes after school that day after school she fill figures out where it is and goes. She knows a few people there and decides to talk to them for a bit. One of them being a pretty good friend to Natalie. While they are talking two other people there decide to make a sign for the people to notice where to go at the school. They mess it up a few times.

Natalie glances over to see what's going on with the sign. On both sides of the cardboard were spelling mistakes. The teacher there for the fundraiser helped with writing it out properly. One of the two people tried to draw a picture to try and fix the mistakes but didn't like it. Natalie decided to help and fixed the image. She started talking to the two people. One named Ayden and then other Claire. She knew Claire from elementary school. They were a year younger than Natalie.
