In hospital room

Gauri reminded Saumya that they should call the much discussed Bade bhaiya and his family, at least both of them will get some support in hospital. Saumya went to dial OM landline number as per instructions mentioned in the pamphlet.

Annika looked at Saumya in confusion "Kisse call kar rahi ho?" (Who are you trying to call?), Saumya looked a bit unsure but she mumbled "Didi wo Bade Bhaiya..." (Umm..Big Bro)

Annika felt hurt and anger at the same time, she shook her head to control her tears but she couldn't control herself from blurting "Do you think he cares? Kuch nhi hoga he will even break your heart. (Do you think he cares, he will break your heart as well)"

Saumya looked at her perplexed, where was all this rage coming from. Earlier she has witnessed many Billu Billi fights but this emotion was new, she rubbed Anika's arm to calm her down "Didi aisa kuch nhi hai, bade bhaiya k mann mein apke liye soft corner hai" (Sis, it's nothing like that Big bro has a soft corner for you)

Anika chuckled dryly, all her pent up frustration was coming out without even trying, she scoffed at Saumya "Huh, what did you just say?" Saumya repeated it again but she was cut by another grunt from Anika "Soft corner, huh? Jinke liye soft corner hota hai, unhe gold digger, sadak ka kooda aur characterless nahi bola jata (Soft Corner, huh? Do you think if people have soft corner for someone they call them gold digger, characterless and roadside Trash?)

Saumya was seeing this side of Anika for the first time, she quickly engulfed her in a hug or her anger looked very consuming and it could easily turn worse, she tried once again "Didi ap jaante ho wo gusse mein kuch bhi bolte hain" (Sis, you know it well, he speaks utter nonsense in anger)

Saumya shook her head in disappointment, earlier guard was so sweet why would they appoint such an arrogant one "Acha ap meri baat nhi karao, but humara message de do Shivaay Singh Oberoi ko ki Annika didi ka accident ho gya hai aur wo outer area ke City Hospital mein hai" (Ok,don't transfer my call, just inform Shivaay Singh Oberoi that Annika has met with an accident and she's at city hospital)

Saumya could only hear another irritated growl from him, he scoffed and started again "Oh acha Annika, unke liye special message hai, Shivaay Sir ne bola hai, ki wo ladki agar OM aaye toh usse ghusne matt dena aur kisi se bhi phone pe baat karane ki zarurat nhi hai" (Oh Anika, we have a special message from Shivaay Sir for her, he's said that she should never be allowed an entry in OM and her calls should'nt be transferred to any family members)

Swetlana smirked and went out from the security room, she only heard the last part and she was sure that without any help Anika will surely die in that hospital because she knows the number she did on that girl.

Saumya looked at Anika's hurtful eyes when she asked "Kya hua Saumya? (What happened Saumya?)

Saumya tried to look away and stammered lightly "Didi...wo keh rahe hain Bade Bhaiya abhi ghar pe nahi hain" ( Sis, they're say..ing Big Br.o isn't at home)

Annika chuckled once again, though she had 0.1% hope but finally that man has crushed it, yet again. She wanted to slap herself for keeping expectations from him but she focused on Saumya's teary eyes "Ab yehi baat meri aankhon mein dekh k bol" (Now look into my eyes and tell me the same thing)

Saumya looked away and found some really interesting patterns on floor, Gauri nudged her shoulder to say something but to their surprise she started sobbing like a kid, who just understood that world not only about rainbows and unicorns.

Annika pulled her in a side hug and made some space for her to sit on the bed. She pulled up Saumya's chin from the crook of her neck "Bacha kya hua, why are you crying? (Saumya, my dear why are you crying like this?)

Saumya shook her head and turned her face away while mumbling "Didi sab bahut bure hain, everyone wants to use others and forget all their favours" (Sis, everyone is an opportunist in this world; they reap benefits people and when time comes they forget about all their favours)

Anika wiped her tears and Gauri was rubbing her back, she waited for her to explain the conversation that pushed her to this point.

Saumya was suddenly angry, why everyone is so shallow "Toh aur kya bolu didi, pehle Rudra ne mujhe ghar se nikaal se dia aur kaha ki main uski family se door rahu, Romi k time maine uski itni help ki. Apke itne favours k baad ab Bade Bhaiya ya kahu Mr. Oberoi ne OM mein apki entry ban kar di hai aur bola hai ki kisi family member baat na karaye. Hum logo ka naam family list mein bhi nhi dia, pehle toh bht family family bolte the" (Then what should I say? First Rudra asked me to go away from OM. I helped him so much during that Romi fiasco.Nkow, despite so many of your favours, Big Bro has banned your entry in OM and barred all your calls, they've even gone ahead and cancelled our names from the list, then why they used to call us family)

Saumya gave her a teary smile and muttered " Toh didi main kya sochu, sab kitne matlabi hai duniya mein" (So what should I say, everyone is so selfish)

Anika looked with horrified expressions towards Gauri, now why the hell was she crying like a kid "Main ek ka water supply band kara rahi hu, ye doosri bhi start ho gyi, idhar aao Gauri, ab tum kyu ro rahi ho? (Here I'm trying to stop this red nosed girl from crying and you've also started. Come here Gauri, now why are you crying?)

Ab dekho, mere saath kya hua, Gauri anjaan thi but phir bhi usne humari kitni help kari, duniya mein sab log kharab nhi hote, bas halaat kharab hote hain" (Haven't you heard that elder sister is like a mother, take it as a warning, never call yourselves orphans until I'm there with you and listen to me carefully when we do a good act, we shouldn't expect anything in return, we should let it go after doing any favours. Take an example, Gauri was a stranger but she helped us a lot without expecting anything in return, people are not bad, circumstances are)

Anika chuckled and shook her head comically "Chalo ab meri badayi band karo aur dono rona bhi band karo, dard mujhe ho raha hai, rona mujhe chahiye aur main idhar do do babies ko sambhalne mein lagi hu, itna toh mera chota sa Sahil bhi nhi rota. Acha Saumya tune Sahil ko toh kuch nhi bataya na" (Now stop praising me and also stop crying. I'm in pain, I should be crying but here I have to take care of 2 cry babies, my little bro Sahil is better than both of you. Umm..Saumya you haven't told about my accident to Sahil?)

Anika wanted to call her only friend but it will only result in unnecessary trouble "Nahi rehne do, bechari faltu pareshan hogi, thoda recover ho jaun phir khud bataungi, Gauri tum kya karti ho waise?" Shivaay Singh Oberoi ki yaad pata nhi kab mera peecha chodhegi. Meri 2 Rs kismet aisi jagah phasati hai jahan mujhe dhoka hi milta hai. Kal kya kya ho gaya, phir Shivaay ka naam unn gundo ne kyu lia, ab bagad bille ji maharaj ne OM mein entry bhi ban kar di hai, lagta toh hai ki sab sach hi hai. Main waise bhi ab unse milna nhi chahti but Dadi aur OmRu ko sabse zyada miss karungi. OmRu bilkul mere bhayi jaise ho gaye kuch hi dino mein, Dadi jaisa pyaar mujhe ajatakk kisi ne nhi kia, I really miss them but bagad bille ko pata chala ki maine unse baat ki hai, toh mere mooh pe jhapatta maar dega. Ab better hai ki main sabse door rahu" (I'm not sure why but it seems like I know Gauri, I want to call her Chutki, but on the other hand I cannot give my Chutki's place to anyone else. I don't know when I will get rid of Shivaay Singh Oberoi's memories; my bad luck always gets me stuck in wrong situations. So many things happened yesterday, those goons mentioned Shivaay's name and now that wild cat has banned my entry in OM, maybe all that was true. Even I don't want to meet him, but I'm missing Grandma and OmRu, both OmRu are like my brothers now and nobody has ever loved me like Grandma. I miss them a lot but if that wild cat gets to know that I tried to contact them he will pounce on me, so it's better that I should stay away from them)

After a while, Anika also drifted into deep slumber but fate was again playing a game when Sahil had to return from his camp due to some emergency situation in that area.
