Saumya and Gauri left from ICU after meeting with Anika and they met Dr Mittal at the door "So girls, did you meet your Didi, was she behaving normal?"

Saumya nodded happily and confirmed "Yes Doctor, she asked about Sahil, her little brother, then she was feeling weak so we left from there"

Dr was also happy with the progress "Yes It's a good sign that she talked about her brother, she has lost a lot of blood but she is a fighter, hopefully she will recover soon" but there was one person who was left confused after that meeting "Doctor, she called me with a different name in semi conscious state, I hope it is not bad for her health"

Dr shook his head and clarified it to Gauri "Maybe she is missing someone, that's why she recalled their name and in half presence of her mind she assumed that you were the same person, it's not a big problem, still I will check her again after some time and there's a good news for you girls. Annika is recovering well and we will shift her to a other room in half an hour, you can go and opt for your requirement at the nurse's station."

Saumya and Gauri nodded, they moved towards the nurses station, both girls were finally relieved and smiling after talking to the doctor.

After half an hour, Annika was shifted to a four bed hospital room and her belongings were handed over to Gauri, while taking the packet her eyes got stuck to something that was enough to take her down the memory lane ki

FB starts:

Little Gauri was sitting beside her sister in an orphanage and playing with her toys when she noticed her sister's only treasure "Anu Di, why there are so many moons in your bracelet and why don't you wear it in your hand?"

Little Anu smiled and she pecked her sister's cheek "Chutki this bracelet belongs to our Mom, she gifted it to me on my birthday and said that I can wear it when I grow up and you remember, how Dad used to call mom? He always said "She's my chand and you both are my little stars, that's why so many moons"

Little Gauri has faint memories of her family but they always brought a smile on her face "Yes Anu di I remember, will you let me wear it when we grow old?"

Anu embraced her in a side hug, who can understand better than her about how those memories affect them "Of course Chutki, this belongs to our mother, but for that you have to promise that we will always remain together, Pinky Promise?"

Little Gauri gave her a toothy grin and both sisters entangled their little fingers to give a promise of a lifetime.

Gauri recalled that day, she was not sure if she should run inside the ward and engulf her sister in a hug or should she shout in happiness, finally her biggest wish was fulfilled by her Shankar ji "Anu Di, humara promise toot gaya, but ab hum log alag nhi honge. Thank God, I have finally found my Didi" (Anu di, we broke our promise, but now we will never go away from each other. Thank God, I've finally found my sister)

She chose to rush to the temple, coz rushing in the ward looked like a bad idea and she thanked all the various gods and Shankar ji received a special gift of 1100 rupees.

Gauri went back after crying some happy tears, some of pain and some of separation. She thought that she will tell Anika in a few days, as sudden shock and stress will not be good for her. Just to be sure she ordered a DNA test as hospital already has records of their blood samples.

In the hospital room

Annika was settled in the room and she was already looking better than before, how can she forget what both the girls have done for her "Gauri thank you so much, tum nhi hoti toh mera kya hota aur Saumya idhar aao.

She hugged Saumya from her free hand and kisses on her forehead "Saumya, tumhe main Thank you bhi nhi bol sakti, tumne mujhe aj ek aur choti behen de di hai, I cannot repay you in this life" (Gauri Thank you so much, I cannot even imagine my condition if you would'nt have helped us and Saumya Thank you is also not enough for what you did for me, I've found another younger sister in you)

Saumya was a bit confused, first the weird name and now an unknown entry "Ek aur Choti behen matlab, apka toh bas ek bhayi hai na?" What do you mean by another younger sister, you only have a brother, right?)

Before Anika could answer, Doctor entered inside the ward "Hello Annika, how are you feeling now?" She smiled but frowned immediately " I'm better now, it's paining a lot and sitting in one place is the worst thing that can happen to me"

Dr chuckled while checking her vitals "Abhi toh bas starting hai, 3 weeks full bed rest, only movement allowed is for essential activities, phir dheere chalna start hoga, You were very lucky ki bahut damage nhi hua, just two broken bones and few external injuries. Blood loss kuch time mein recover ho jayega. Thanks to Ms Sharma here who gave you her blood at the right time" (It's just the starting, you have to take full bed rest for next three weeks with movement allowed only for essential activities. Saumya was really confused, a minute back she mentioned a sister now she is  talking about her brother "Doctor I think you should check her again, abhi thodi der pehle ye keh rahi thi inki ek Choti behen bhi hai, but inhone humesha yehi bataya ki inka sirf ek bhayi hai" (Doctor I think you should check her again, she was saying that she has one younger sister also, but before this she's only told us about a younger brother)

Anika wanted to say something but another person in the room was more excited to talk about herself "Inki ek aur choti behen bhi hai" (She also has a younger sister) but soon she realised the slip of tongue and bit her cheek from inside.

Earlier Saumya was confused, now Anika's name was also added to the list, she looked at Gauri in confusion who was chuckling like an idiot and secretly cursing her big mouth, but she soon muttered lightly "Umm...arrey Abhi apne bola hai toh hogi hi, I trust you" (in mind – Gauri iss se acha bahana nhi mila) (Didn't you just said it? I have total trust on your words, in mind "Come on Gauri, you could have managed a better excuse than this)

Annika was not fully convinced but she ignored her suspicious grin and turned towards the Dr "Haanji Doctor, Saumya ko nhi pata par meri ek choti sister thi hum bachpan me hi alag ho gaye the orphanage mein, but mujhe zyada kuch yaad nhi hai uske bare mein, thodi bht hi baatein yaad hain. (Doctor, Saumya is not aware but My sister and I were separated in our childhood at an orphanage, thought I don't remember much about her except a few things)

Dr was also a bit worried if Anika's memory was affected after that accident but he relaxed after hearing her explanation "Yes, it happens with time, old memories fade away, especially childhood memories, we only remember important ones."

Saumya also relaxed finally"Good then, ek aur tension khatam hui, ab bas Mansion call karke batane ki tension reh gyi hai, abhi takk unka koi call bhi nhi aaya" (Great then, one tension less, now I just have to call at mansion to inform about her accident)

Annika listened to her and she got lost in her thoughts but Dr brought her out from them "Don't take too much stress and rest for 3 weeks is recommended, then a little bit of physiotherapy"

Annika again looked at the doctor with pleading eyes but clearly it wasn't her day when the other one started blabbering without any pretext "Pehle toh pata nhi kyu Gundo se pitt k aa gyi ap, ab apko rest karne mein bhi pareshani hai, chup chap rahiye bed pe" (First she gets beaten up by goons for some crazy reason, now she has the audacity to deny bed rest as well, just stay mum and be ready for 3 weeks bed rest)

Doctor chuckled helplessly while looking at the three girls, one was very good with puppy eyes but the other two were turning into angry birds, he soon diffused the situation "It looks like ye log 3 weeks bed rest kara hi lenge, mujhe koi aur tareeka use karne ki zarurat nhi hai. I talked to them earlier, but lagta nhi hai ki Ms Sharma se ap log abhi miley ho" (It seems I don't have to do anything, these girls will handle you well, but it doesn't feel like Ms Sharma has met you recently)

Gauri and Annika looked at each other and then at the doctor, Gauri couldn't control the lone tear that rolled down her cheek but anybody who looked at Anika could tell that for some unknown reason she was more hurt after seeing tears in Gauri's eyes. She was confused due to her own emotions but ignored it for the moment.
