A/n - I tried to write an easy journey for Shivaay's last chance but it felt kind of injustice to the characters, now their journey will begin after asking all the right questions.

Ongoing conversation between Shivaay and Anika where she asked him "If he will trust her even if someone comes and says to him that I took 15 lakh rupees and had a one night stand with that person"

Shivika came back inside and Tej asked him "Shivaay, what is she talking about? What 15 lakh rupees and what the hell is this nonsense about a one night stand?"

Shivaay was baffled after listening to his question, reality struck him again. He will have to confess everything and there's no doubt that everyone will be highly disappointed with him. It was easy to be brave outside the mansion but this confession was not at all a piece of cake. He averted everyone's gaze and looked down with guilt.

Anika shook her head, this is why she wanted to end everything at that time but he wanted to be brave, then why he is looking like a bheega (scared) billu now.

Shivaay is not sure how he is supposed to look in her eyes and answer those questions. He insulted and mistrusted her every time but this girl always stood up like a shield for his family.

Om looked at them, both were not ready to speak from a long time, he finally said "Beech mein bolne ke liye sorry, lekin tum log kis baare mein baat kar rahe ho?" (Sorry to interrupt, but what are you talking about?)

Rudy narrowed his eyes and looked at Shivaay "Bhaiya mujhe aisa kyu lag raha hai ki ki apne phirse koi kaand kia hai (Bhaiya, why do I think that again you have done some blunder?)

Anika shrugged her shoulders, he wanted to do it in front of the family, then why is he quiet now? She chuckled at him sarcastically "Shivaay, batayiye apne bhayiyo ko, ki hum log kya baat kar rahe the" (Shivaay, tell your brothers, what I'm talking about)

Shivaay looked at everyone's questioning glare, they are already disappointed in him and now his past mistakes are knocking at the door again. Now it is about the person who they love dearly, he muttered while wiping his sweat beads "I'm sorry, Anika"

Anika chortled sarcastically "Chaliye apne ek baar mein Sorry kehna toh seekh liya kamm se kamm. Waise mere pass aisi anginat baton ki list hai jiske liye apko mujhe sorry bolna chahiye" (At least you learned to say Sorry in one go. Anyways I can tell you multiple issues for which you should seek my apology)

Shivaay nodded his head and muttered "Tum jo bologi main karunga" (I will do whatever you say) but he was not prepared for her reply "Okay, then let me go..." (Thik hai, phir mujhe jaane dijiye)

Shivaay was not able to answer her, he was about to speak but Anika stopped him in between "Let me complete it first. Please let me go today. You should take some time to reflect on your past mistakes and your nature to judge people without giving them a chance to explain. I told you about Tia, but you called me a gold digger and characterless middle class girl."

Shivaay shook his head "Anika, wo maine nahi kaha tha, Tia ne bola tha" (Anika, it was Tia, I never said it) but his luck was not on his side, is this girl a lawyer or something, why did she notice the right argument point? He could only sigh when she said "Shivaay just keep a hand on your heart and say that you never called me those words or thought about me like that?"

Shivaay looked away, he always belittled her in the past despite feeling different about her but he has a feeling that he should not give up on her so easily.

Anika walked towards him, today she will also get all the answers "I told you that Daksh stalked me, but you never paid heed to my words. When Daksh told you about that that one night stand and 15 lakh rupees, you immediately trusted him forgetting about the things I have done to help you. Not only Daksh but there are numerous other instances where you failed to trust me. After doing so much for your family and you in the past and that too without any expectations, how could did you believe that I will stoop so low to earn some lakhs?"

Everyone was flabbergasted, did they hear it correctly? Tej and Shakti were the only members who had minimal interaction with Anika in the past but never in their right mind they would have trusted this claim about her, then why was their eldest son so judgemental or perhaps dumb?

Rudra glared at Shivaay and he walked towards Anika "Didi ap kya bol rahi ho ye?" (Sister, what are you saying?)

Anika sighed and explained them about Daksh's plan, Shivaay's misunderstanding and the reason why he behaved like a jerk during her last days in Oberoi Mansion. Shivaay looked down with tears flowing from his eyes, his own mistakes have led him to point that he cannot look into the eyes of his family and keep his head high.

Family was too stunned to react, they were aware that Shivaay has always mistreated Anika but this was way too much and they don't expect Anika to forget it so easily.

Rudy was furious now, how many times Anika proved her innocence but his eldest brother is one stubborn man and look how that ended for him "Bhaiya apko pata tha iss baare mein?" (Brother, did you know about it?)

Shivaay explained them that how he talked to the staff members and came to know about it and then he tried to search Anika many times but she was not in Mumbai

Anika smiled sadly and she gave him another shock "Shivaay, main Mumbai mein hi thi tab" (Shivaay I was in Mumbai at that time)

Shivaay looked at her in confusion, if she was in Mumbai then how his men were not able to track her. Saumya indicated to Anika that she will handle it "Bade Bhaiya, Swetlana ne sirf ap logo ko pareshan nahi kia, meri Didi ko bhi maarne ki koshish ki thi apki shaadi wale din." (Big bro, Swetlana not only tried to trouble you all but she also tried to kill my sister on the day of your marriage.) She told everyone about how she was left to die on the road by Swetlana and her goons.

Everybody gasped after hearing this new found information, Anika almost lost her life because of them, still she came back to rescue everyone, how are they supposed to pay this debt?

Om also glared at his gullible brother, why he is always ready to believe all the crap. He turned towards Anika "Mujhe pata hai ki Shivaay ne galti ki hai lekin humein kabhi pata nahi chala iss baare mein. Waise tumhe kisne bataya ye sab tum toh shaadi ke baad kabhi OM wapas aa hi nahi paayi?" (I know Shivaay has done wrong, but he never shared this with anyone. By the way who told you about this because you were not able to come back to OM after marriage)

Everyone turned towards the door when they heard "I told her"

Shivaay growled at him angrily "Tumhari himmat kaise hui yahan aane ki?" (What the hell are you doing here??)

Shivaay was about to rush towards him, finally he has a chance to deal with this man but his chance was cut short when Anika pulled him back "Araam se Shivaay, maine bulaya hai usse" (Relax Shivaay, I called him)

Shivaay was confused and also fuming in anger, she so casually invited the man who is responsible for his woes, he glared at him and then asked her "Whatt? You are still in contact with him?"

Everybody looked at Chanda like she has grown horns when she stepped towards him and hugged him lightly "D, your flight was late but finally you've reached, anyways your timing is almost right". Throughout the revelations everyone has noticed the close bond between these sisters but why was this girl fraternising with the enemy?

Shivaay glared at Chanda, shouldn't she punch this man black and blue but he turned abruptly towards Anika when she smiled at Daksh while saying "D come in why are you still there?"

If that friendly invite was not enough to frustrate Shivaay then Daksh's next act was enough to send him blaring at him. Anika smiled widely at Daksh and that man had the guts to pull her in a hug.

Everyone noticed the casual friendship between them, wasn't she supposed to kick him in the balls for hugging her like this?

Shivaay was burning in fury and OmRu were ready to beat him to pulp but both stopped because Anika was also hugging him back and it was just a friendly hug, so they stepped back and rolled their eyes at Saumya when she asked "Hello Daksh Bhaiya, how are you?"

Daksh smiled at her "I'm fine, just came back from my business trip, long time no see?"

Oberoi Family was shooting daggers from their eyes, what's wrong with these girls and how are they behaving so nicely with a stalker.

Daksh rubbed the back of his neck while looking at everyone "Sabko dekhkar lagta hai ki ap logo ko sach pata chal gaya" (It's clear from your glared that you already know about the truth)

Shivaay finally turned to put some sense into his naive girl "Anika, tumne iss admi ko yahan kyu bulaya hai? Tumhe pata nahi hai ye humari saari galat fehmiyo ke liye zimmedar hai" (Anika, why have you called this person here? Don't you know he was totally responsible for all the confusions between us?)

The naive girl wasn't so naive afterall, so she pointed out his own mistake "No Shivaay, that's the point of this whole conversation, he was not totally responsible for everything. D told you something, instead of confirming or trusting me you decided to question my character and gave a judgement that I was money minded."

Shivaay looked at her in shock, whatever she was saying was really true, it was his decision to trust the man instead of trusting the girl who was always by his side.

Anika looked at his thoughtful face and continued "It's not that he just met me and I accepted his apology. He accidentally ran into my car in Delhi, I immediately recongnised him but I ignored him. After some time I was sitting in a cafe I saw him begging for food at a roadside tea stall and then some people chased him away using sticks and stones. That's when I realised he wasn't normal, he was behaving weird."

Daksh shuddered in fear after remembering his past, what if Anika did not see him that day? He could still be roaming on roads like a mad beggar eating from garbage for survival, he managed to mutter "Ani, I'm glad that you found me that day".

Anika side hugged him to calm him down only to hear three light growls around her, no second guesses for the source of those grunts because ShivOmRu were standing in ready to attack position. Daksh pushed her away, there's no way that he will get beaten by those three.

Anika chuckled at him and held his hand forcefully, today she will settle all the scores with him, let those three land some punches on his face, it will be a beautiful turn of events.

Rudra scowled at her, why were they so close, he stomped towards them and glared at Anika while pulling her behind his back and then he stood between them like a wall. Anika shook her head in disbelief when ShivOm, Tej and Shakti looked at him proudly, these men in her life are too possesive for her and they will not think before killing someone for her sake.

Dadi looked at their drama and facepalmed, it was such a serious topic and all of them are busy in marking their territory.

Anika smiled sheepishly at Dadi and she continued "I was aware about his obsession for me but I took him from there for the sake of humanity. Doctors told me that he had many panic attacks, extreme anxiety and depression in past few months and without proper treatment he lost his sanity. He remained in that mental institution for 6 months and then rehab for another 4 months, during one of his therapy sessions he requested my presence and he accepted about his misdoings. I was really angry, but the doctor told me that he is no more that obsessive man, he wants to change his ways and after that I observed major changes in his behaviour, so I decided to give him a chance, because I believe that everyone deserves a chance."

Daksh smiled at her thankfully "Ani, thank you for giving me that chance." He troubled her so much but she stood by him during his treatment and then she helped in convincing his wife Richa for their marriage.

Anika patted his back proudly "Now he runs his own business and happily married with his wife Richa." She smirked at him "Who has definitely corrected the remaining parts of his brain"

Daksh rolled his eyes in annoyance, he is surely a hurdle between their possible love story "You and your love for Richa, corrected or not, but she will definitely chew my brain one day"

Anika twirled a lose strand of hair with her finger and smirked while looking at her phone "Siri, call Richa"

Daksh snatched her phone immediately "Har baat usse batana zaruri hai kya? Ek kaam karo, khud hi goli maar do, at least ek baar mein kaam to nipat jayega, warna wo to mere chote chote tukde karke tadpa kar maaregi" (Why you have to tell her everything? Why don't you shoot me, it's a better way to die than getting chopped up in pieces)

Anika disconnected the called and cooed at him "Awww...don't worry D, I don't hate you so much"

Shivaay was looking at them, here he was fuming in anger and these two are talking like long lost friends. What has he missed in all these years? Firstly, Anika is friends with her stalker and then he has too many questions about 360 degree transformation in her nature, talking style, dressing sense and something tells him that she's in a very powerful position, he has to admit that time is really a big player.

Daksh turned towards Shivaay "I'm sorry Shivaay, for all my past mistakes. I was mentally ill, but never had the courage to accept it. When Anika broke our engagement, I got highly depressed and then she went missing after few days and I was not handle my fixation with her. I started having major panic attacks; my mental illness was getting severe with each passing day but I was adamant on not seeking any medical help. Before loosing all my senses I went to my home in Delhi, later I lost my mental balance due to extreme depression and paranoia, that's when Anika found me. She helped me in correcting my mistakes and gave me a new life."

Anika looked at him softly, she knows how hard it is to recall his dark days "D, you don't have to recall all those things."

Daksh smiled at her and continued "I'm not saying that I was right or you should pity me, but brother I just played on your weak points, trusting her or not was totally your decision. Think about it, you will understand our POV."

Shivaay looked at Daksh while trying to understand his own mistakes. Was he the same Daksh who behaved like an idiot some years ago? The man standing there was definitely not that old Daksh but he was more mature than Shivaay Singh Oberoi, all thanks to the lady called Anika.

Daksh turned towards Anika, his work here was done, he bade her bye and Anika smiled at him while sending lots of love for his wife. He shook his head in amusement, both of them are straight or he would always have a doubt on them.

Chanda's phone rang, she whispered something to Anika and she nodded while saying to Daksh "Somu, Chanda and Chutki are also going out, you can go in their car, they'll drop you"

Everybody noticed that she's sending him with her sisters, maybe he's really changed otherwise Anika wouldn't have trusted him in case of her sisters. They smiled while looking at one more redeemed soul, who finally found the right direction of his life.

Everybody was still thinking about what happened few minutes back, but they noticed that Daksh came rushing inside the mansion and he stopped in front of Shivaay.

Shivaay looked at him in confusion when Daksh pulled him in a brotherly hug; before leaving again he whispered in Shivaay's ear "Bro, thank you for calling me to OM back then because that's when I met Anika for the first time, I don't know what would I have been without her help. Please stop comparing our lives, believe me you are nowhere near me, I was a mess but you are a man with a good heart just your ideologies have made you weak. Last advice, don't let her go this time, but believe me bro you will have to work really hard for her, she's hell lot tadibaz than before."

Shivaay chuckled and patted Daksh's back and he left after saying Sorry to him but Shivaay did learn something from this whole conversation. If Anika can give chance to the likes of Daksh, maybe he can also get one. Before he could say anything, Anika added "Shivaay mujhe pata hai ki ap kya soch rahe ho, par mera jawab Na hi hoga" (Shivaay..I know what you're thinking but my answer will be No"

Shivaay recalled all the ugly incidents from the past, she really gave him many chances but he never appreciated her back then, it's rational if she denies now.

Anika shook her head, when he started saying something "Maine apko pehle bhi bahut chance diye hai, aur humesha dukh hi mila hai. Ab main tayar nahi hu" (I gave you so many chances back then, but at the end I was the one who got hurt. I'm not mentally prepared for it now.)

Shivaay is confused about what they mean to each other, but he knows that he cannot let her go this time; the void that she left last time was really hard for him to fill and then he looked around at pale faces of all his family members while thinking "Urggghhh...Why I had to mess up only with her, these people will kill me with their eyes"

Shivaay looked at her pleadingly "Anika, please don't say like this. I...."

Anika chuckled while closing her eyes in disappointment "You still cannot complete it, huh?. Let me tell you, it's still not clear in your mind. First you felt it because you were guilty about trusting Daksh. Am I right?

Shivaay nodded his head slowly and Anika continued "Then you thought about it because you were guilty about mistrusting me in case of Tia?"

Shivaay nodded again, other family members were looking at both of them. They were trying to decipher the meaning of Shivaay's incomplete "I..." and what amazed them more was that Anika understood it without any efforts. They know that Shivika make a good couple, but both need time to work on their relationship and nobody should meddle in their business.

Anika's next words did clear the context of their conversation "Shivaay... GUILT should not be the reason for you to accept me, it should be when you want to share your life with me and we will share each other's happiness and pain too. When we accept someone as our partner, no money or luxury can reduce the longing when we will miss each other."

Om smiled after hearing her explanation, maybe this is why they are best friends because their understanding about love is so similar "Shivaay do you remember? Ek din teri zindagi kisi aur ki ho jayegi aur tujhe pata bhi nahi chalega, royegi wo ansu tere bahenge. Chot usse lagegi par dard tujhe hoga. Hasi uski rukegi par dum tera ghutega. Aur uss din duniya ki koi bhi takat koi bhi paisa, koi bhi naam tere kaam nahi aayega" (Shivaay, do you remember? One day your life will not be yours and you will not be aware about it, she will cry but tears will drop from your eyes too. She will get hurt but you will feel the pain. She will be gloomy but you will feel breathless. That will be the day when no luxury or name will come to your aid)

Rudra frowned at all of them, why are they having poetry competition at a moment like this "Aisa lag raha hai jo Anika Didi English mein samjha rahi thi, wo O ne kuch bhaari bharkam words add karke bol dia, sabko confuse karne ke liye" (It seems, the things that Anika was trying to explain in easy words, O just added some big words to it for confusing everyone)

Om rolled his eyes and muttered  "Duffer" but Rudra poked his tongue out at him "O, mujhe pata hai sabse smart hu, abhi mahaul aisa hai warna Anika didi se confirmation bhi dilwa deta" (O, I know I'm the smartest, time is not favourable otherwise I would have asked Anika to vouch for me)

Shivaay looked at Om and Anika while trying to comprehend the depth of their words, but it was not easy for him to understand them with lots of baggage from past 4 years and his brain is muddled with all the torture given by Kapoors.
