At the hospital

Annika was recovering well and Gauri got DNA reports from the hospital, as expected they were a match. She was on cloud nine and she was eagerly waiting to reveal this information to Anika. She discussed the same with Doctor and he said that it is fine to reveal this news as Annika is totally out of Danger now. After much thinking Gauri decided to tell her after lunch.

Annika ate the last bite and unknowingly said "Chutki...err, sorry I mean to say Gauri, meri medicines de do" (Chutki..err, sorry I mean to say Gauri, please give my medicines)

Gauri got teary eyed, she is aware that Anika can feel familiarity between them but she's trying to ignore her feeling. Gauri took the medicine and gave her a glass of water.

Annika looked at Gauri's wrist, she was wearing her Chand bracelet, usually when anyone else touches her bracelet she wants to kill that person but here Gauri is wearing it but she's kind of feeling happy about it. Keeping her thoughts aside, her possessiveness for the bracelet kicked in "Umm... Gauri, please don't mind but ye bracelet mere liye bahut special hai, can you please take it off?" (Umm..Gauri please don't mind but could you take off this bracelet, it's really precious for me)

Gauri smiled widely while wiping the tears rolling down her eyes "Kya yaar Anu di (What you are saying Anu di?)

Annika snapped towards her in anger "What did you just call me?

Gauri bit her tongue, she wanted to kiss away those frown lines on her sister's forehead. She knows how possessive is her sister for that bracelet and she's equally possessive for the name "Anu", nobody can use it except Anika's Mom, Dad and sister. Gauri tried to control her smile and mumbled "I called you Anu Di"

Annika was once again amazed by her own emotions, she wanted to yell at the girl but that thought gave her a very uneasy feeling because instead of yelling she wanted to pull her in a tight hug.

Anika mumbled lightly "I know it's not possible but you always remind me of my Chutki, how I wish I can get her back. I should feel very bad when I saw that bracelet in your hand but I'm kind of feeling happy, tumhe pata hai ye kiska bracelet hai (I know it's not possible but you always remind me of my sister Chutki, how I wish I can get her back. I should feel very bad when I saw that bracelet in your hand but I'm kind of feeling happy. Do you know who owned this bracelet before me?)

Gauri nodded her head and grinned widely "Maa ka (Mom's)"

Annika did not process her words immediately, she started saying "Haan toh please utaar do isse" but soon she realised "Ek minute how do you know ki ye meri Mumma ne diya hai (Yes, then please take it off...but soon she realised "hey how do you know this bracelet belonged to my Mom?)

Gauri's grin got wider, she was so near to revealing the biggest news of their life "Anu Di, ap apni kahi baat bhool gaye na (Anu Di, Did you forget what you said?)

Annika was confused, when did she have a conversation with Gauri about this bracelet, she frowned at her but Gauri's next statement left her gasping for air "Yehi ki jab main badi ho jaun to ap mujhe ye bracelet pehen ne doge" (you said that, when I will grown up you will allow me to wear this bracelet)

Annika finally calmed down her erratic breathing, is the most awaited moment about to happen in her life "Tumhe ye sab kaise pata, kya jo main soch rahi hu?...ummm (How do you know about this? I'm not sure sure if my thinking is right?)

Anika was not able to complete her sentence, Gauri nodded her head and she jumped in Anika's arms without saying anything. Gauri hid her face in the crook of Anika's neck, finally she can feel the warmth of her sister's embrace.

Anika pulled her closer, this felt like a dream, will she open her eyes and everything will disappear once again? Both girls were not ready to leave each other, the pain of separation was uncontrollably flowing down their eyes, the happiness of meeting their only family is making them crazy and the feelings they had for each other finally found an answer.

After a good session of sobbing, kissing each others foreheads, hands, cheeks and tight hugs they finally controlled themselves as they realised that other people in the room were giving them "are you both crazy" looks.

Saumya looked at both the sisters with longing eyes, she wanted to be a part of that hug but she knows that she is just a third wheel now. She started moving away from both sisters, with tears in her eyes when she heard an angry voice "Aye ladki, sochna bhi matt" (Hey you, don't even think about it)

Gauri looked at Saumya in confusion, why was she getting scolded without any reason. Anika glared at her again and said "Saumya Tendulkar, idhar aao ek second mein" (Saumya, just come here)

Gauri mumbled an oops, full name was used and she knows that Saumya is definitely in trouble but Saumya was crying and shaking her head to say no. Anika mumbled under her breath "Why are all these stubborn idiots in my life?" She muttered angrily "Aa rahi ho ya main uth k chalu? (Are you coming or should I get off from this bed?)

Saumya shook her head and she took slow steps towards them, lately she has felt a deep connection to Anika and now it seems that her fate is about to snatch it from her. Anika slapped on her arm and pulled her near while muttering "Pagal hai kya, meri behen mil gyi toh tumne kaise soch liya ki tum meri kuch nhi lagti" (Are you mad, how can you think that now I've found my real sister, I will forget you?)

Saumya bit her tongue, this is one of the reasons why she feels connected to Anika, she can somehow understand her unspoken words. She mumbled incoherently "Apko kaise pata? (How did you understand?)

Annika chuckled and flicked her nose "Maine bhi research ki pagal logo pe, mujhe sab pata chall jata hai. (I've also researched on mad people, I know everything about them)

Gauri also smacked on the back of her head and Anika continued "Ye kabhi nahi sochna Somu, you are and will be my youngest sister... though I don't know how Sahil will react kyuki meri sister to uski bhi sister ho gyi na"(Never think like this Somu, you will always be my youngest sister, though I'm not sure how Sahil will react because my Sister will also be his sister)

Saumya chuckled while wiping her tears "Haha yeah, I've observed his "Aakhon mein teri ajab si adaiyein hain" moment, bechara Sahil (Poor boy, I've noticed his getting lost in my eyes moments)

Anika laughed loudly and looked at both the girls "Jokes aside, come here Gauri". She shifted to give them space to sit on her bed and kissed their foreheads  "Gauri is my long lost sister but Somu you are the one who stood by me when I was injured. It was you who requested Gauri for help, so I give all the credit to you for reuniting us, you will always have a special place in my heart.

Gauri also looked at her playfully "Ye chiraiyya pagal hai, tum toh humari sabse choti behen ho, hum tumko kaise bhool sakte hai, tum kahi bhagna bhi chahogi toh baandh k rakh lenge" (This girls is mad, you will always be our youngest sister, even if you want to go away from us, we will never let you go)

All of them chuckled and Gauri told Annika how she found her bracelet and ordered a DNA test, she got the results today and straightaway went to the doctor to discuss if it was safe to reveal this shocking information but it seems that Saumya got a bigger shock in comparison to the long lost sisters.

All laughed and chit chatted for a while, Doctor came to check if Annika handled the news well, their tear stained happy faces cleared all his doubts. Annika smiled widely and looked at his newly found brother "Akash Bhaiya, when will I get free from this hospital bed, It'll be better if I rest at home"

Doctor Akash wanted to stick his tongue out at the same question, hundredth time but he looked at the other patients and dropped the plan "Annika ek hi question kitni baar poochne ka plan hai? Bas 4 din aur phir main tumhare sir ki bandages khol kar stitches remove karunga aur ye jo shoulder bone baar baar dikkat de rahi hai, uske liye maine k expert ko bulaya hai, wo 3 din tumhe observation mein rakhna chahte hain. (How many times do you plan to ask the same question? It's just a matter of 4 days then I will open bandage on your head and remove your stitches. I've contacted an expert for your shoulder issue. He also wants to keep you under observation for 3 days)

Annika bit her tongue and looked at him with puppy eyes "Matlab koi chance nhi hai bhagne ka yaha se?" (It means there is no chance for my great escape from this hospital?)

Akash was about to fall for her tricks when Gauri warned him "Bhaiya, don't look in her eyes, you will not be able to say no"

Anika mumbled some colorful words for her sister, her plan was about to get successful but she had to poke her nose again. Akash also looked at her amazing talent, he is a strict doctor but he was seconds away from getting manipulated. He chuckled and said "Abhi no bhaag Milkha bhaag, wait for some time" (No, plan your Great escape after some time)

Gauri glared at her and Annika placed a finger on her lips while muttering something on the lines of "sab mujh jaisi bechari seedhi si bachi ko hi dara k rakhna chahte hai" ("Everyone want to scare an innocent kid like me") only to hear three scoffs from her side.

She made a grumpy face and lied down on the bed, to ignore all of them for plotting against her. Everyone chuckled at the girl who has stolen their hearts in few meetings but ignored her for the moment or she will again try to coax them with her puppy eyes. Gauri and Saumya left for the canteen and Doctor Akash also moved towards other patients.

Anika smiled widely when all of them left, she has two sisters now, little Sahil and an elder brother too. She started thinking about her life "Now I have my sister with me, kitne saalon baad miley hain hum log. Ab mujhe sab bhool kar aage badhna chahiye, mushkil hoga par karna hoga. Mujhe pata hai Billu ji se jo connection wo shayad kisi aur se kabhi nahi banega, par ab kamzor padne ka samay nahi hai. Main itne din se yehi soch rahi thi ki apni 2 rupees kismat ke bharose kaise rahungi, par abhi meri chutki mere pass hai, Sahil aur Saumya bhi hai. Ab meri life mein yehi log sab kuch honge, jisne mujhe bura bhala kaha aur shayad marne ki koshish kari ab wo mere liye kuch nahi hai. Stone Singh Oberoi se stone bann na toh seekh hi sakti hu. Main Khidkitod Anika hu, ab peeche mudd kar nahi dekhungi, khush rahungi sabki khushi mein. Yehi sahi hoga.(Now I have my sister with me, we met after so many years. I know it will be hard but now I should forget about my past and move on. I know my connection with Billu ji was special and I cannot have the same with anyone else, but now is not the time to get weak. I'm thinking about my cheap bad luck from so many days, but now I have my sister Chutki with me and also Sahil and Saumya. Now these three will be the most important people of my life, not the one who abused me and also tried to kill me. At least I can learn to become like stone from Stone Singh Oberoi. I'm awesome Anika, now I will never think about my past, my happiness lies with these three munchkins, this is the best for me.)

She drifted into a deep slumber while thinking all this, moving on is hard in life but we have to do it for our loved ones and for ourselves. When you have made up your mind, no one can stop you, sometimes it's better to think about yourself and move ahead from your past.
